| CVE-2026-46129 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix double free in create_space_info() error path When kobject_init_and_add() fails, the call chain is: create_space_info() -> btrfs_sysfs_add_space_info_type() -> kobject_init_and_add() -> failure -> kobject_put(&space_info->kobj) -> space_info_release() -> kfree(space_info) Then control returns to create_space_info(): btrfs_sysfs_add_space_info_type() returns error -> goto out_free -> kfree(space_info) This causes a double free. Keep the direct kfree(space_info) for the earlier failure path, but after btrfs_sysfs_add_space_info_type() has called kobject_put(), let the kobject release callback handle the cleanup. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46123 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: virtio_bt: clamp rx length before skb_put virtbt_rx_work() calls skb_put(skb, len) where len comes directly from virtqueue_get_buf() with no validation against the buffer we posted to the device. The RX skb is allocated in virtbt_add_inbuf() and exposed to virtio as exactly 1000 bytes via sg_init_one(). Checking len against skb_tailroom(skb) is not sufficient because alloc_skb() can leave more tailroom than the 1000 bytes actually handed to the device. A malicious or buggy backend can therefore report used.len between 1001 and skb_tailroom(skb), causing skb_put() to include uninitialized kernel heap bytes that were never written by the device. The same path also accepts len == 0, in which case skb_put(skb, 0) leaves the skb empty but virtbt_rx_handle() still reads the pkt_type byte from skb->data, consuming uninitialized memory. Define VIRTBT_RX_BUF_SIZE once and reuse it in alloc_skb() and sg_init_one(), and gate virtbt_rx_work() on that same constant so the bound checked matches the buffer actually exposed to the device. Reject used.len == 0 in the same gate so an empty completion can no longer reach virtbt_rx_handle(). Use bt_dev_err_ratelimited() because the length value comes from an untrusted backend that can otherwise flood the kernel log. Same class of bug as commit c04db81cd028 ("net/9p: Fix buffer overflow in USB transport layer"), which hardened the USB 9p transport against unchecked device-reported length. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46112 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/hns: Fix unlocked call to hns_roce_qp_remove() Sashiko points out that hns_roce_qp_remove() requires the caller to hold locks. The error flow in hns_roce_create_qp_common() doesn't hold those locks for the error unwind so it risks corrupting memory. Grab the same locks the other two callers use. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46108 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipmi:si: Return state to normal if message allocation fails There were places where nothing would get started if a message allocation failed, so the driver needs to return to normal state. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46098 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: caif: clear client service pointer on teardown `caif_connect()` can tear down an existing client after remote shutdown by calling `caif_disconnect_client()` followed by `caif_free_client()`. `caif_free_client()` releases the service layer referenced by `adap_layer->dn`, but leaves that pointer stale. When the socket is later destroyed, `caif_sock_destructor()` calls `caif_free_client()` again and dereferences the freed service pointer. Clear the client/service links before releasing the service object so repeated teardown becomes harmless. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46077 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: atmel-tdes - fix DMA sync direction Before DMA output is consumed by the CPU, ->dma_addr_out must be synced with dma_sync_single_for_cpu() instead of dma_sync_single_for_device(). Using the wrong direction can return stale cache data on non-coherent platforms. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46075 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: atmel-sha204a - Fix potential UAF and memory leak in remove path Unregister the hwrng to prevent new ->read() calls and flush the Atmel I2C workqueue before teardown to prevent a potential UAF if a queued callback runs while the device is being removed. Drop the early return to ensure sysfs entries are removed and ->hwrng.priv is freed, preventing a memory leak. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46072 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs3: add buffer boundary checks to run_unpack() run_unpack() checks `run_buf < run_last` at the top of the while loop but then reads size_size and offset_size bytes via run_unpack_s64() without verifying they fit within the remaining buffer. A crafted NTFS image with truncated run data in an MFT attribute triggers an OOB heap read of up to 15 bytes when the filesystem is mounted. Add boundary checks before each run_unpack_s64() call to ensure the declared field size does not exceed the remaining buffer. Found by fuzzing with a source-patched harness (LibAFL + QEMU). | ||||
| CVE-2026-46062 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs3: fix integer overflow in run_unpack() volume boundary check The volume boundary check `lcn + len > sbi->used.bitmap.nbits` uses raw addition which can wrap around for large lcn and len values, bypassing the validation. Use check_add_overflow() as is already done for the adjacent prev_lcn + dlcn and vcn64 + len checks added by commit 3ac37e100385 ("ntfs3: Fix integer overflow in run_unpack()"). Found by fuzzing with a source-patched harness (LibAFL + QEMU). | ||||
| CVE-2026-43497 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 7.3 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: udlfb: add vm_ops to dlfb_ops_mmap to prevent use-after-free dlfb_ops_mmap() uses remap_pfn_range() to map vmalloc framebuffer pages to userspace but sets no vm_ops on the VMA. This means the kernel cannot track active mmaps. When dlfb_realloc_framebuffer() replaces the backing buffer via FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO, existing mmap PTEs are not invalidated. On USB disconnect, dlfb_ops_destroy() calls vfree() on the old pages while userspace PTEs still reference them, resulting in a use-after-free: the process retains read/write access to freed kernel pages. Add vm_operations_struct with open/close callbacks that maintain an atomic mmap_count on struct dlfb_data. In dlfb_realloc_framebuffer(), check mmap_count and return -EBUSY if the buffer is currently mapped, preventing buffer replacement while userspace holds stale PTEs. Tested with PoC using dummy_hcd + raw_gadget USB device emulation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43113 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wl1251: validate packet IDs before indexing tx_frames wl1251_tx_packet_cb() uses the firmware completion ID directly to index the fixed 16-entry wl->tx_frames[] array. The ID is a raw u8 from the completion block, and the callback does not currently verify that it fits the array before dereferencing it. Reject completion IDs that fall outside wl->tx_frames[] and keep the existing NULL check in the same guard. This keeps the fix local to the trust boundary and avoids touching the rest of the completion flow. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43105 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vc4: Fix memory leak of BO array in hang state The hang state's BO array is allocated separately with kzalloc() in vc4_save_hang_state() but never freed in vc4_free_hang_state(). Add the missing kfree() for the BO array before freeing the hang state struct. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43104 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vc4: Fix a memory leak in hang state error path When vc4_save_hang_state() encounters an early return condition, it returns without freeing the previously allocated `kernel_state`, leaking memory. Add the missing kfree() calls by consolidating the early return paths into a single place. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43103 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: lapbether: handle NETDEV_PRE_TYPE_CHANGE lapbeth_data_transmit() expects the underlying device type to be ARPHRD_ETHER. Returning NOTIFY_BAD from lapbeth_device_event() makes sure bonding driver can not break this expectation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43098 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: s3fwrn5: allocate rx skb before consuming bytes s3fwrn82_uart_read() reports the number of accepted bytes to the serdev core. The current code consumes bytes into recv_skb and may already deliver a complete frame before allocating a fresh receive buffer. If that alloc_skb() fails, the callback returns 0 even though it has already consumed bytes, and it leaves recv_skb as NULL for the next receive callback. That breaks the receive_buf() accounting contract and can also lead to a NULL dereference on the next skb_put_u8(). Allocate the receive skb lazily before consuming the next byte instead. If allocation fails, return the number of bytes already accepted. | ||||
