| Tesseract is an open source OCR engine. In version 5.5.3 and earlier, UNICHARSET::load_via_fgets in src/ccutil/unicharset.cpp trusts the declared unichar count as a loop bound and uses id as an unchecked index into the unichars vector. unichar_insert_backwards_compatible can leave the vector unchanged for an empty, duplicate, or already-encodable representation, causing id to become larger than unichars.size(). Subsequent set_* calls and the write to unichars[id].properties.enabled then write UNICHAR_PROPERTIES beyond the vector during initialization in both the default LSTM and legacy engines, causing heap corruption, a crash, or potentially controlled corruption. No fixed release is available as of this review. | ||||

| Pocketbase is an open source web backend written in go. Prior to 0.22.48 and 0.39.7, PocketBase's panic-recovery middleware covers regular request handling but not internal child and worker goroutines. A panic in one of these internal goroutines can escape recovery and terminate the server process, causing a denial of service. The remediation introduces routine.SafeWrap to convert recovered panics into regular errors and applies it to the affected internal worker functions. | RabbitMQ amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. Prior to 1.13.0, readField in read.go reads the length of an AMQP byte-array field with type tag x into a signed int32 and passes the value directly to make when allocating the field buffer. A malicious or compromised broker can encode a value such as 0xFFFFFFFF, which becomes -1 and causes a len out of range runtime panic. The panic escapes the network reader goroutine and terminates the client process, including during connection.start server properties or message header table parsing. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.0. | ||||
