CVSS v3.1 |
| The Opt-In Downloads plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the admin_upload() function in all versions up to, and including, 4.07. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. Due to the presence of an .htaccess file, this can only be exploited to achieve RCE on NGINX servers, unless another vulnerability is present. |
| The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthenticated JSON file uploads due to missing authorization and capability checks on the Redux_Color_Scheme_Import function in versions 4.4.12 to 4.4.17. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload JSON files, which can be used to conduct stored cross-site scripting attacks and, in some rare cases, when the wp_filesystem fails to initialize - to Remote Code Execution. |
| Grafana Image Renderer is vulnerable to remote code execution due to an arbitrary file write vulnerability. This is due to the fact that the /render/csv endpoint lacked validation of the filePath parameter that allowed an attacker to save a shared object to an arbitrary location that is then loaded by the Chromium process.
Instances are vulnerable if:
1. The default token ("authToken") is not changed, or is known to the attacker.
2. The attacker can reach the image renderer endpoint.
This issue affects grafana-image-renderer: from 1.0.0 through 4.0.16. |
| oobabooga text-generation-webui trust_remote_code Reliance on Untrusted Inputs Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of oobabooga text-generation-webui. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of the trust_remote_code parameter provided to the join endpoint. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied argument before using it to load a model. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the service account. Was ZDI-CAN-26681. |
| The WP3D Model Import Viewer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the handle_import_file() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.7. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. |
| Team ENVY, a Security Research TEAM has found a flaw that allows for a remote code execution on the
NVR
. An attacker enters a special value for a specific URL parameter, resulting in a NULL pointer reference and a reboot of the NVR. The manufacturer has released patch firmware for the flaw, please refer to the manufacturer's report for details and workarounds. |
| handcraftedinthealps goodby-csv is a highly memory efficient, flexible and extendable open-source CSV import/export library. Prior to 1.4.3, goodby-csv could be used as part of a chain of methods that is exploitable when an insecure deserialization vulnerability exists in an application. This so-called "gadget chain" presents no direct threat but is a vector that can be used to achieve remote code execution if the application deserializes untrusted data due to another vulnerability. The problem is patched with Version 1.4.3. |
| The Widget Options – The #1 WordPress Widget & Block Control Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.7 via the display logic functionality that extends several page builders. This is due to the plugin allowing users to supply input that will be passed through eval() without any filtering or capability checks. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to execute code on the server. Special note: We suggested the vendor implement an allowlist of functions and limit the ability to execute commands to just administrators, however, they did not take our advice. We are considering this patched, however, we believe it could still be further hardened and there may be residual risk with how the issue is currently patched. |
| calculator-boilerplate v1.0 was discovered to contain a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability via the eval function at /routes/calculator.js. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted payload injected into the input field. |
| Versions of the package jsonpath-plus before 10.3.0 are vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE) due to improper input sanitization. An attacker can execute aribitrary code on the system by exploiting the unsafe default usage of eval='safe' mode.
**Note:**
This is caused by an incomplete fix for [CVE-2024-21534](https://security.snyk.io/vuln/SNYK-JS-JSONPATHPLUS-7945884). |
| Nautel VX Series transmitters VX SW v6.4.0 and below was discovered to contain a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in the firmware update process. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via supplying a crafted update package to the /#/software/upgrades endpoint. |
| Hugging Face Diffusers CogView4 Deserialization of Untrusted Data Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Hugging Face Diffusers. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of checkpoints. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in deserialization of untrusted data. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-27424. |
| CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability exists that could cause remote code execution when an authenticated attacker with admin privileges uploads a malicious file over HTTP which then gets executed. |
| A vulnerability exists in Google Apigee's JavaCallout policy https://docs.apigee.com/api-platform/reference/policies/java-callout-policy that allows for remote code execution.
It is possible for a user to write a JavaCallout that injected a malicious object into the MessageContext to execute arbitrary Java code and system commands at runtime, leading to unauthorized access to data, lateral movement within the network, and access to backend systems.
The Apigee hybrid versions below have all been updated to protect from this vulnerability:
* Hybrid_1.11.2+
* Hybrid_1.12.4+
* Hybrid_1.13.3+
* Hybrid_1.14.1+
* OPDK_5202+
* OPDK_5300+ |
| MediaCMS is an open source video and media CMS, written in Python/Django and React, featuring a REST API. MediaCMS has been prone to vulnerabilities that upon special cases can lead to remote code execution. All versions before v4.1.0 are susceptible, and users are highly recommended to upgrade. The vulnerabilities are related with insufficient input validation while uploading media content. The condition to exploit the vulnerability is that the portal allows users to upload content. This issue has been patched in version 4.1.0. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Server communication with a controller can lead to remote code execution using a specially crafted message from the controller. See Honeywell Security Notification for recommendations on upgrading and versioning. |
| An authenticated remote code execution vulnerability in PowerStick Wave Dual-Band Wifi Extender V1.0 allows an attacker with valid credentials to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges. The issue stems from insufficient sanitization of user-supplied input in the /cgi-bin/cgi_vista.cgi executable, which is passed to a system-level function call. |
| An issue was discovered in Ovidentia 8.3. The file upload feature does not prevent the uploading of executable files. A user can upload a .png file containing PHP code and then rename it to have the .php extension. It will then be accessible at an images/common/ URI for remote code execution. |
| The WP Import – Ultimate CSV XML Importer for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 7.28. This is due to the write_to_customfile() function writing unfiltered PHP code to a file. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject the customFunction.php file with PHP code that can be accessed to trigger remote code execution. |
| If the attacker has access to a valid Poweruser session, remote code execution is possible because specially crafted valid PNG files with injected PHP content can be uploaded as desktop backgrounds or lock screens. After the upload, the PHP script is available in the web root. The PHP code executes once the uploaded file is accessed. This allows the execution of arbitrary PHP code and OS commands on the device as "www-data". |
