| CVE-2026-102272 | 1 Jpadilla | 1 Pyjwt | 2026-09-28 | 7.4 High |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, HMACAlgorithm.prepare_key in jwt/algorithms.py is affected because raw-JWK detector does not normalize accepted Unicode byte-order marks before checking for JSON. This occurs when a public JWK is prefixed with a UTF-8 BOM and used in a mixed-algorithm verification path. As a result, public JWK bypasses asymmetric-key detection and becomes the HMAC secret. Consequently, an attacker who knows the public key can forge authenticated tokens. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102273 | 1 Jpadilla | 1 Pyjwt | 2026-09-28 | 7.4 High |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWT HMACAlgorithm.prepare_key is affected because HMAC key guard only recognizes top-level public JWK forms and misses container representations. This occurs when an application allows HMAC and asymmetric algorithms and passes a public JWK container as the raw key. As a result, public asymmetric key material is accepted as the HMAC secret. Consequently, an attacker who knows the public key can forge a token with arbitrary authenticated claims. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102274 | 1 Jpadilla | 1 Pyjwt | 2026-09-28 | 5.9 Medium |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.9.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWKSet does not catch the plain ValueError raised for malformed RSA JWK components by RSAAlgorithm.from_jwk in jwt/api_jwk.py. This occurs when a JWK Set contains a malformed RSA key alongside otherwise usable keys. As a result, one malformed member aborts construction of the entire PyJWKSet. Consequently, applications can experience authentication failures or request-level denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102275 | 1 Jpadilla | 1 Pyjwt | 2026-09-28 | 6.5 Medium |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.1.0 until 2.15.0, PyJWT OKPAlgorithm.from_jwk in jwt/algorithms.py is affected because private-JWK import path does not compare the public key derived from d with x. This occurs when an OKP private JWK supplies non-corresponding x and d components. As a result, identity derived from x can differ from operations performed with d. Consequently, if an integration also accepts private key parameters from a proof header without rejecting them, an attacker may use a stolen sender-constrained token without the legitimate private key. This issue is fixed in version 2.15.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102281 | 1 Nestjs | 1 Nest | 2026-09-28 | 7.5 High |
| Nest is a framework for building scalable Node.js server-side applications. Prior to 11.2.4 and 12.0.2, a single message with a deeply nested object in its pattern can terminate a NestJS microservice using the TCP or RabbitMQ transport. ServerTCP#handleMessage and ServerRMQ#handleMessage pass a client-controlled non-string pattern to JSON.stringify to derive the handler lookup key; sufficiently deep nesting throws RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded, and the unhandled promise rejection terminates Node.js under its default behavior. An attacker who can reach the TCP port or publish to the consumed RabbitMQ queue or exchange can crash the service on demand; other transports are not affected because their patterns arrive as strings. This issue is fixed in versions 11.2.4 and 12.0.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-101918 | 1 Jpadilla | 1 Pyjwt | 2026-09-28 | 5.3 Medium |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.0.0a1 until 2.15.0, PyJWT PyJWKClient.get_signing_key_from_jwt is affected because payload parser catches ValueError but not RecursionError. This occurs when an attacker-controlled recursively nested payload reaches json.loads. As a result, documented PyJWT exception handling does not contain the failure. Consequently, an unauthenticated request can raise an exception that may produce an HTTP 500 response. The advisory-defined affected implementation also includes jwt/api_jwt.py, verify_signature=False. This issue is fixed in version 2.15.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-84895 | 1 Facebook | 1 Proxygen | 2026-09-28 | N/A |
| In proxygen from v2026.04.06.00 until v2026.09.28.00, QuicWtSession::closeSession accesses its member fields after calling the base QuicWtSessionBase::closeSession method. The base method notifies the session handler, which may release the last reference to the session and destroy it. | ||||
| CVE-2026-91095 | 1 Facebook | 1 Proxygen | 2026-09-28 | N/A |
| In proxygen from v2024.10.28.00 until v2026.09.28.00, the HTTPTransaction::onWebTransportUniStream and HTTPTransaction::onWebTransportBidiStream APIs could return stream handles that the stream handler had already freed. HQSession then installed those handles as transport read callbacks, which could lead to use of freed memory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-91096 | 1 Facebook | 1 Proxygen | 2026-09-28 | N/A |
| In proxygen from v2024.10.28.00 until v2026.09.28.00, WebTransportImpl::terminateSessionStreams (WebTransportImpl::destroy in releases before v2025.08.18.00) failed to unregister read callbacks for streams that were no longer open before destroying them. The transport could then invoke a read callback that had been freed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102265 | 1 Jpadilla | 1 Pyjwt | 2026-09-28 | 5.3 Medium |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWS._load in jwt/api_jws.py is affected because parser catches ValueError but not RecursionError. This occurs when a deeply nested token header reaches json.loads. As a result, RecursionError escapes the documented PyJWT error hierarchy. Consequently, an unauthenticated malformed token can cause a request-level failure and HTTP 500. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102276 | 1 Juliangruber | 1 Brace-expansion | 2026-09-28 | 7.5 High |
| The brace-expansion library generates arbitrary strings containing a common prefix and suffix. Prior to 1.1.19, 2.1.5, 3.0.7, and 5.0.10, crafted brace patterns can exhaust the native stack in parseCommaParts because parseCommaParts recursively processes the remainder once per brace group and uses push.apply to pass every element of a very large comma-part array as a function argument. Patterns containing many comma-separated brace groups trigger the recursive path, while the large array triggers the argument-array path without deep recursion. These paths cause recursive and argument-array native stack exhaustion before max or maxLength can limit output, potentially terminating the Node.js process in a process-terminating denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 1.1.19, 2.1.5, 3.0.7, and 5.0.10. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102277 | 1 Juliangruber | 1 Brace-expansion | 2026-09-28 | 5.3 Medium |
| The brace-expansion library generates arbitrary strings containing a common prefix and suffix. Prior to 1.1.21, 2.1.7, 3.0.9, and 5.0.12, the expand function handles untrusted {a},b}-shaped patterns with many trailing closing braces by restarting its scan once for each trailing closing brace. The successive full-input rescans with linear working-string growth cause quadratic CPU time and memory pressure that can block the Node.js event loop. The process eventually recovers, making the impact a recoverable CPU denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 1.1.21, 2.1.7, 3.0.9, and 5.0.12. | ||||
