| CVE-2022-42915 | 6 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 3 more | 14 Macos, Fedora, Curl and 11 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.1 High |
| curl before 7.86.0 has a double free. If curl is told to use an HTTP proxy for a transfer with a non-HTTP(S) URL, it sets up the connection to the remote server by issuing a CONNECT request to the proxy, and then tunnels the rest of the protocol through. An HTTP proxy might refuse this request (HTTP proxies often only allow outgoing connections to specific port numbers, like 443 for HTTPS) and instead return a non-200 status code to the client. Due to flaws in the error/cleanup handling, this could trigger a double free in curl if one of the following schemes were used in the URL for the transfer: dict, gopher, gophers, ldap, ldaps, rtmp, rtmps, or telnet. The earliest affected version is 7.77.0. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42898 | 4 Heimdal Project, Mit, Redhat and 1 more | 10 Heimdal, Kerberos 5, Enterprise Linux and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| PAC parsing in MIT Kerberos 5 (aka krb5) before 1.19.4 and 1.20.x before 1.20.1 has integer overflows that may lead to remote code execution (in KDC, kadmind, or a GSS or Kerberos application server) on 32-bit platforms (which have a resultant heap-based buffer overflow), and cause a denial of service on other platforms. This occurs in krb5_pac_parse in lib/krb5/krb/pac.c. Heimdal before 7.7.1 has "a similar bug." | ||||
| CVE-2022-42896 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 8 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 5 more | 2026-10-14 | 8 High |
| There are use-after-free vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel's net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c's l2cap_connect and l2cap_le_connect_req functions which may allow code execution and leaking kernel memory (respectively) remotely via Bluetooth. A remote attacker could execute code leaking kernel memory via Bluetooth if within proximity of the victim. We recommend upgrading past commit https://www.google.com/url https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/711f8c3fb3db61897080468586b970c87c61d9e4 https://www.google.com/url | ||||

| CVE-2022-42722 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel 5.8 through 5.19.x before 5.19.16, local attackers able to inject WLAN frames into the mac80211 stack could cause a NULL pointer dereference denial-of-service attack against the beacon protection of P2P devices. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42721 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| A list management bug in BSS handling in the mac80211 stack in the Linux kernel 5.1 through 5.19.x before 5.19.16 could be used by local attackers (able to inject WLAN frames) to corrupt a linked list and, in turn, potentially execute code. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42720 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.8 High |
| Various refcounting bugs in the multi-BSS handling in the mac80211 stack in the Linux kernel 5.1 through 5.19.x before 5.19.16 could be used by local attackers (able to inject WLAN frames) to trigger use-after-free conditions to potentially execute code. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42719 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| A use-after-free in the mac80211 stack when parsing a multi-BSSID element in the Linux kernel 5.2 through 5.19.x before 5.19.16 could be used by attackers (able to inject WLAN frames) to crash the kernel and potentially execute code. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42703 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 5 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| mm/rmap.c in the Linux kernel before 5.19.7 has a use-after-free related to leaf anon_vma double reuse. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42432 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | 4.4 Medium |
| This vulnerability allows local attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of the Linux Kernel 6.0-rc2. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute high-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the nft_osf_eval function. The issue results from the lack of proper initialization of memory prior to accessing it. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the kernel. Was ZDI-CAN-18540. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42329 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| Guests can trigger deadlock in Linux netback driver T[his CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] The patch for XSA-392 introduced another issue which might result in a deadlock when trying to free the SKB of a packet dropped due to the XSA-392 handling (CVE-2022-42328). Additionally when dropping packages for other reasons the same deadlock could occur in case of netpoll being active for the interface the xen-netback driver is connected to (CVE-2022-42329). | ||||

| CVE-2026-100209 | 1 Microsoft | 7 365 Apps, Microsoft 365, Office 2021 and 4 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| Use after free in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54702 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | ||
| Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.30, the webview message handler in src/preview-provider.ts accepts an attacker-controlled command value and attacker-controlled args, constructs a command in the _crossnote namespace, and invokes vscode.commands.executeCommand without an allowlist or type validation. JavaScript already executing in the preview webview can use this bridge to invoke privileged extension commands, including file modification, code-chunk execution, export-tool execution, and arbitrary URL opening, with attacker-selected arguments. Exploitation requires a separate webview JavaScript execution path, such as the independently tracked .crossnote/head.html injection, but no further authorization check protects the extension-host command boundary. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.30. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100210 | 1 Microsoft | 8 365 Apps, Microsoft 365, Office 2021 and 5 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100211 | 1 Microsoft | 12 365 Apps, Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Apps For Enterprise and 9 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| Use after free in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54701 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | ||
| Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.30, Markdown Preview Enhanced reads repository-controlled .crossnote/head.html content and passes it through resolvePathsInHeader before inserting it into the head of the preview webview document without removing executable content. Script-capable markup executes while the document loads, before the React application and DOMPurify initialize, and can access acquireVsCodeApi to send messages from the webview to the extension host. Opening a Markdown preview in a malicious repository is sufficient to trigger the injected content, and no additional click within the notification or preview is required. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.30. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55655 | 3 Openbsd, Openssh, Redhat | 12 Openssh, Openssh, Enterprise Linux and 9 more | 2026-10-14 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A local unprivileged attacker on a Linux client host can hijack client-side X11 forwarding connections. This is possible by pre-binding the preferred abstract X socket name when X11 forwarding is enabled and a local UNIX-domain X socket is used. A successful attack can compromise the confidentiality of forwarded X11 traffic, including sensitive window contents and input, and may allow some manipulation of the forwarded session. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55653 | 3 Openbsd, Openssh, Redhat | 12 Openssh, Openssh, Enterprise Linux and 9 more | 2026-10-14 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A malicious SSH server can exploit a double free vulnerability in the Diffie-Hellman Group Exchange (DH-GEX) client path. This occurs during FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) mode known-group validation when the client processes attacker-controlled DH-GEX group parameters. Successful exploitation leads to client-side process termination, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-4111 | 1 Redhat | 12 Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager, Discovery and 9 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was identified in the RAR5 archive decompression logic of the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_data() processing path. When a specially crafted RAR5 archive is processed, the decompression routine may enter a state where internal logic prevents forward progress. This condition results in an infinite loop that continuously consumes CPU resources. Because the archive passes checksum validation and appears structurally valid, affected applications cannot detect the issue before processing. This can allow attackers to cause persistent denial-of-service conditions in services that automatically process archives. | ||||
