| CVE-2026-75628 | 1 Punk | 1 Oauth2 | 2026-08-28 | 5.7 Medium |
| Punk::OAuth2 versions before 0.03 for Perl allow an attacker-chosen off-site redirect after login because same_origin_path accepts a backslash or tab in the return parameter. oauth2_login reads the return parameter from the initiation request, runs same_origin_path over it, and stores the survivor in the session flow record as the post-login redirect target. That check rejects a value that does not begin with a slash, one with a slash as its second byte, and one containing CR or LF. A backslash and a tab pass. The URL Standard treats a backslash as equivalent to a slash for special schemes, so `/\evil.example` parses with the authority `evil.example`. It also strips ASCII tab before parsing, so a tab between two leading slashes leaves `//evil.example`. A crafted link to the application's own login route lands the victim on the attacker's site after a genuine authentication. The redirect carries no authorization code or access token. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74802 | 2 B3log, Siyuan | 2 Siyuan, Siyuan | 2026-08-28 | 8.2 High |
| SiYuan versions before 3.7.4 contain a cross-site WebSocket hijacking vulnerability in the admin-only /ws/network/proxy endpoint that explicitly disables origin validation by setting CheckOrigin to unconditionally return true. Attackers can craft malicious webpages that establish WebSocket connections to this endpoint and direct the SiYuan kernel process to proxy arbitrary network traffic to attacker-chosen targets, enabling authenticated network pivoting through the victim's machine. | ||||
| CVE-2026-6876 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | ||
| ServiceNow has remediated a sandbox escape security issue that was identified in the Now Platform. This security issue could allow an unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary code within the Now Platform, potentially leading to more access to the Now Platform than intended. ServiceNow deployed a security update to hosted instances and ServiceNow provided the update to our partners and self-hosted customers. We are not currently aware of malicious exploitation against ServiceNow instances. We recommend customers promptly apply appropriate updates or upgrade to a patched release if they have not already done so. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5510 | 2026-08-28 | 6.4 Medium | ||
| The GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'give_form' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.14.4. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the continue_button_title and display_style shortcode attributes, which are passed through sanitize_text_field() but not properly escaped when output in HTML data attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5241 | 1 Huggingface | 1 Transformers | 2026-08-28 | 9.6 Critical |
| A vulnerability in the LightGlue model loading path of huggingface/transformers version 5.2.0 allows an attacker-controlled model repository to execute arbitrary code during model initialization. The issue arises because the `trust_remote_code` parameter, intended to prevent remote code execution, is overridden by untrusted serialized configuration data in a nested code path. Specifically, when loading a LightGlue model using `AutoModel.from_pretrained()` with `trust_remote_code=False`, the `LightGlueConfig` reads the `trust_remote_code` value from the untrusted `config.json` file and propagates it into nested `AutoConfig.from_pretrained()` calls. This results in the execution of attacker-provided Python modules, even when the victim explicitly disables remote code execution. The vulnerability poses a high risk for environments such as API inference servers, research notebooks, CI/CD pipelines, and model evaluation workers, potentially leading to credential theft, lateral movement, or persistence/backdoor deployment. | ||||
| CVE-2026-56121 | 1 Feast-dev | 1 Feast | 2026-08-28 | 9.8 Critical |
| Feast before 0.63.0 contains an unsafe deserialization vulnerability that allows unauthenticated or unauthorized attackers to achieve remote code execution by sending a crafted gRPC request to the registry server. The user_defined_function.body field of an OnDemandFeatureView spec is decoded from base64 and passed to dill.loads() before any authorization check is performed, enabling attackers to embed a malicious serialized Python object with an arbitrary __reduce__ method to execute OS commands as the feast service account. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54293 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High |
| NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) is a suite of open source Python modules, data sets, and tutorials supporting research and development in Natural Language Processing. Prior to 3.10.0-rc1, nltk.data.load() in NLTK is vulnerable to path traversal via URL-encoded path separators and traversal segments when using the nltk: URL scheme. The unsafe-path regex check is performed before url2pathname() decodes the %xx sequences (a classic decode-after-check / TOCTOU-style flaw), allowing an attacker to bypass the protection documented in NLTK's SECURITY.md and read arbitrary files from the filesystem. While literal traversal strings such as ../../../etc/passwd are correctly blocked, encoded variants such as %2fetc%2fpasswd, %2e%2e%2f..., and ..%2f..%2f slip past the regex and are subsequently decoded into a real filesystem path. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.10.0-rc1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48710 | 2 Encode, Kludex | 2 Starlette, Starlette | 2026-08-28 | 6.5 Medium |
| Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit. Prior to version 1.0.1, the HTTP `Host` request header was not validated before being used to reconstruct `request.url`. Because the routing algorithm relies on the raw HTTP path while `request.url` is rebuilt from the `Host` header, a malformed header could make `request.url.path` differ from the path that was actually requested. Middleware and endpoints that apply security restrictions based on `request.url` (rather than the raw `scope` path) could therefore be bypassed. Users should upgrade to a version greater than or equal to version 1.0.1, which validates the `Host` header against the grammar of RFC 9112 §3.2 / RFC 3986 §3.2.2 when constructing `request.url` and falls back to `scope["server"]` for malformed values. | ||||
| CVE-2026-44724 | 1 Sebhildebrandt | 1 Systeminformation | 2026-08-28 | 7.8 High |
| systeminformation is a System and OS information library for node.js. From 4.17.0 to 5.31.5, on Linux, systeminformation is vulnerable to command injection in networkInterfaces() when an active NetworkManager connection profile name contains shell metacharacters. The vulnerable value is obtained internally from real nmcli device status output. The library sanitizes the network interface name before using it in shell commands, but it does not apply equivalent sanitization to the parsed NetworkManager connection profile name. That unsanitized connectionName is then interpolated into three shell command strings executed through execSync(). This vulnerability is fixed in 5.31.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-44289 | 2 Protobuf, Protobufjs Project | 2 Protobuf, Protobufjs | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High |
| protobufjs compiles protobuf definitions into JavaScript (JS) functions. Prior to 7.5.6 and 8.0.2, protobufjs could recurse without a depth limit while decoding nested protobuf data. This affected both skipping unknown group fields and generated decoding of nested message fields. A crafted protobuf binary payload could cause the JavaScript call stack to be exhausted during decoding. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.5.6 and 8.0.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-44017 | 2 Docling, Docling-project | 2 Docling, Docling | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High |
| Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. Prior to 2.91.0, the EasyOCR model download functionality extracted ZIP archives without validating member paths, enabling Zip Slip attacks. If an attacker could compromise the model download source (via supply chain attack, DNS spoofing, or MITM), they could write arbitrary files to any location writable by the process, potentially achieving remote code execution by overwriting Python files or system binaries, persistent backdoors by modifying startup scripts or SSH keys, and data corruption or system compromise. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.91.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43621 | 1 Simplemachines | 1 Smf | 2026-08-28 | 8.1 High |
| Simple Machines Forum (SMF) through 2.1.7, fixed in commit 6f0dc61, contains an authorization state-confusion vulnerability in the profile loader that allows authenticated low-privileged users to gain administrator access by supplying multiple values for the user parameter. Attackers can exploit the mismatch between Profile::$member and User::$me->is_owner during sequential profile loading to be treated as the owner of an administrator profile, enabling unauthorized password changes and full account takeover. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42557 | 1 Jupyter | 2 Jupyterlab, Notebook | 2026-08-28 | 9.6 Critical |
| jupyterlab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. Prior to 4.5.7, JupyterLab's HTML sanitizer allowlists data-commandlinker-command and data-commandlinker-args on button elements, while CommandLinker listens for all click events on document.body and executes the named command without checking whether the element came from trusted JupyterLab UI. A notebook with a pre-saved HTML cell output containing a deceptive button can trigger arbitrary JupyterLab commands - including arbitrary code execution - on a single user click, without any code being submitted for execution by the user. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.7. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42266 | 1 Jupyter | 1 Jupyterlab | 2026-08-28 | 8.8 High |
| JupyterLab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. From 4.0.0 to 4.5.6, the allow-list of extensions that can be installed from PyPI Extension Manager (allowed_extensions_uris) is not correctly enforced by JupyterLab. The PyPI Extension Manager was not contained to packages listed on the default PyPI index. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.7. | ||||
| CVE-2026-41675 | 1 Xmldom | 1 Xmldom | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High |
| xmldom is a pure JavaScript W3C standard-based (XML DOM Level 2 Core) `DOMParser` and `XMLSerializer` module. In @xmldom/xmldom prior to versions 0.9.10 and 0.8.13 and xmldom version 0.6.0 and prior, the package allows attacker-controlled processing instruction data to be serialized into XML without validating or neutralizing the PI-closing sequence ?>. As a result, an attacker can terminate the processing instruction early and inject arbitrary XML nodes into the serialized output. This issue has been patched in versions @xmldom/xmldom versions 0.9.10 and 0.8.13. | ||||
| CVE-2026-40019 | 2026-08-28 | 5.9 Medium | ||
| An unauthenticated attacker can send a truncated quoted argument to the ManageSieve login process, which makes it spin in an infinite loop consuming CPU. This can cause degradation or denial of service for Sieve script management, and repeated connections can consume all available CPU on the server. Monitor system for abnormal CPU usage and kill the offending process. Restrict network access to the ManageSieve service to trusted clients. Update to non-vulnerable version. No publicly available exploits are known. | ||||
| CVE-2026-35397 | 1 Jupyter | 1 Jupyter Server | 2026-08-28 | 8.8 High |
| Jupyter Server is the backend for Jupyter web applications. In versions 2.17.0 and earlier, a path traversal vulnerability in the REST API allows an authenticated user to escape the configured root_dir and access sibling directories whose names begin with the same prefix as the root_dir. For example, with a root_dir named "test", the API permits access to a sibling directory named "testtest" through a crafted request to the /api/contents endpoint using encoded path components. An attacker can read, write, and delete files in affected sibling directories. Multi-tenant deployments using predictable naming schemes are particularly at risk, as a user with a directory named "user1" could access directories for user10 through user19 and beyond. A user who can choose a single-character folder name could gain access to a significant number of sibling directories. Version 2.18.0 contains a fix. As a workaround, ensure folder names do not share a common prefix with any sibling directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33079 | 1 Lepture | 1 Mistune | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High |
| In versions 3.0.0a1 through 3.2.0 of Mistune, there is a ReDoS (Regular Expression Denial of Service) vulnerability in `LINK_TITLE_RE` that allows an attacker who can supply Markdown for parsing to cause denial of service. The regular expression used for parsing link titles contains overlapping alternatives that can trigger catastrophic backtracking. In both the double-quoted and single-quoted branches, a backslash followed by punctuation can be matched either as an escaped punctuation sequence or as two ordinary characters, creating an ambiguous pattern inside a repeated group. If an attacker supplies Markdown containing repeated ! sequences with no closing quote, the regex engine explores an exponential number of backtracking paths. This is reachable through normal Markdown parsing of inline links and block link reference definitions. A small crafted input can therefore cause significant CPU consumption and make applications using Mistune unresponsive. | ||||
| CVE-2026-2614 | 2 Lfprojects, Mlflow | 2 Mlflow, Mlflow/mlflow | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High |
| A vulnerability in the `_create_model_version()` handler of `mlflow/server/handlers.py` in mlflow/mlflow versions 3.9.0 and earlier allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to read arbitrary files from the server's filesystem. The issue arises when a `CreateModelVersion` request includes the tag `mlflow.prompt.is_prompt`, which bypasses source path validation. This enables an attacker to store an arbitrary local filesystem path as the model version source. The `get_model_version_artifact_handler()` function later uses this source to serve files without verifying the model version's prompt status, leading to a complete confidentiality compromise. This issue is fixed in version 3.10.0. | ||||
| CVE-2022-51000 | 2 Nokogiri, Sparklemotion | 2 Nokogiri, Nokogiri | 2026-08-28 | 9.8 Critical |
| Nokogiri before 1.13.2 (CRuby, when using packaged libraries) ships vendored libxml2 2.9.12 and libxslt 1.1.34, which are affected by two upstream CVEs. Via CVE-2021-30560 in libxslt, an application transforming XML with untrusted XSL stylesheets is vulnerable to a denial-of-service attack. Via CVE-2022-23308 in libxml2, an application parsing an untrusted document with parse option DTDVALID set to true and NOENT set to false may be vulnerable to denial of service, memory disclosure, or code execution. Nokogiri 1.13.2 upgrades vendored libxml2 to 2.9.13 and libxslt to 1.1.35. | ||||
