| CVE-2026-108599 | 1 Pulseaiclub | 1 Phi | 2026-10-14 | 4.7 Medium |
| phi 0.1.1 through 0.28.4 contains an improper link resolution vulnerability that allows malicious repositories to bypass workspace_only_writes by exploiting lexical-only path checks in the permission gate. Attackers can commit symlinks pointing outside the workspace and use prompt injection to make the write tool write attacker-influenced content to external files without approval. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108594 | 1 Mealie | 1 Mealie | 2026-10-14 | 3.5 Low |
| Mealie 3.26.0 through 3.28.0 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the OpenID Connect avatar fetch that ignores ports when allowlisting the identity provider hostname. Authenticated OIDC users who control their picture URL can make the server send GET requests to arbitrary ports on the provider's internal address on each login. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108585 | 1 Argoproj-labs | 1 Argocd-mcp | 2026-10-14 | 5.4 Medium |
| argocd-mcp (Argo CD MCP Server) through 0.9.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the delete_application tool that allows MCP clients to reach unintended API endpoints via unvalidated applicationName values. Attackers or prompt-injected models can supply dot-segment values like ../repositories/ to send authenticated DELETE requests deleting repositories, clusters, or projects within the token's RBAC permissions. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108579 | 1 Openpanel | 1 Openpanel | 2026-10-14 | 4.2 Medium |
| OpenPanel through 2.3.0 contains a CSV formula injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to embed spreadsheet formulas by supplying crafted profile IDs to the /track endpoint. Attackers can send tracking events with profile IDs like =HYPERLINK(...) matching a cohort, so exported cohort CSVs execute formulas that exfiltrate adjacent cell data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108550 | 1 Iflytek | 1 Skillhub | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| SkillHub before 0.2.22 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in AccountMergeService and AccountMergeController that allows authenticated attackers to take over other accounts by abusing the merge flow. Attackers can call the merge initiate endpoint with a target username or OAuth identity, receive the verification token directly, and confirm the merge to inherit the victim's API tokens, roles and namespace ownership. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108545 | 1 Sillytavern | 1 Sillytavern | 2026-10-14 | 5.9 Medium |
| SillyTavern 1.12.13 through 1.19.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to exhaust resources because body-parser middleware runs before authentication and whitelist checks. Attackers can send large or compressed JSON or urlencoded bodies up to 500 MB, optionally in parallel, to exhaust memory and CPU and deny service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108383 | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High | ||
| dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.38.0 through 0.70.5, FieldRepresentation.get_field_default renders a schema-controlled enum field default as an enum member reference after applying case conversion but without validating it as an identifier. Newlines, operators, and punctuation can escape the intended reference and inject constrained statements into the generated module, allowing namespace modification or preventing the module from loading. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by validating enum defaults as names. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108378 | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High | ||
| dataclasses-avroschema generates Avro schemas from Python dataclasses, Pydantic models, and Faust Records and generates Python code from Avro schemas. From version 0.40.0 through 0.70.5, ClassRepresentation.render_docstring copies a schema record's doc value into a generated triple-double-quoted class docstring without escaping quotes or backslashes. A crafted triple-quote sequence can close the docstring and inject statements into the generated class body, while a trailing backslash can escape the generated closing delimiter, allowing Python code execution during module import. Version 0.70.6 fixes the vulnerability by escaping quotes, backslashes, and unsafe control characters before rendering docstrings. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108163 | 1 Smp46 | 1 Pingvin-share-x | 2026-10-14 | 6.5 Medium |
| Pingvin Share X before 1.22.0 contains an ineffective rate limiting vulnerability because throttler TTL values specified in seconds are interpreted as milliseconds. Unauthenticated attackers can send effectively unthrottled requests to /api/auth/signIn, /api/auth/signIn/totp and /api/auth/resetPassword to brute-force passwords and TOTP codes. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108158 | 1 Mynaparrot | 1 Plugnmeet-server | 2026-10-14 | 6.5 Medium |
| plugNmeet Server through 2.5.2 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the whiteboard conversion endpoint that allows any meeting participant to read server files via crafted filePath values. Attackers can supply ../ sequences so text or office documents are converted into page images, then fetch them unauthenticated through /download/uploadedFile/. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108112 | 2 Ageerle, Pandarobot | 2 Ruoyi-ai, Ruoyi Ai | 2026-10-14 | 5.4 Medium |
| ruoyi-ai 3.0.0 through 3.1.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated users to delete other users' workflows via POST /workflow/del/{uuid}. Attackers can obtain workflow UUIDs from GET /workflow/search and supply them because softDelete() skips the PrivilegeUtil.checkAndGetByUuid() ownership check, removing owners' workflows. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104795 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| The insights-runtime-extractor runs as a privileged DaemonSet (`hostPID: true`) that scans container processes for runtime fingerprinting. When scanning a container, the coordinator: 1. **fork()s** a child process 2. **setns()** into the target container's PID and mount namespaces 3. **fchdir()** back to an orphaned FD pointing at the extractor's own root filesystem (where `/crio.sock` is hostPath-mounted) 4. Calls **only `seteuid(target_uid)`** — changing the effective UID but leaving the **real UID and saved-set-UID at 0** and **retaining the permitted capability set** 5. The `check_no_privileged_perms()` guard inspects only the Effective capability set (so it passes), and is **skipped entirely when the target runs as uid 0** 6. The `VersionExecutable` fingerprint invokes `fpr_kind_executable` with `process.command_line[0]` — the target's argv[0], read from `/proc/<pid>/cmdline` and **fully controlled by the workload** 7. `fpr_kind_executable` calls `exec.Command(executable, "--version").Output()` — executing the **workload's own binary** inside the workload's mount namespace while **ruid=0 in the host user namespace** The executed process can call `setuid(0)` to restore full root with `CAP_SYS_ADMIN`, and inherits the orphaned cwd which resolves into the extractor container's filesystem containing the host CRI-O socket. ## Affected Code ### 1. Insufficient privilege drop (Rust — extractor coordinator) **File:** `extractor/src/insights_runtime_extractor.rs` ```rust // Lines 139-146 — seteuid-only drop, guard skipped for root containers join_process_namespaces(process.pid)?; change_dir(current_dir); switch_user(*process.uid)?; if *process.uid != 0 { perms::check_no_privileged_perms() .expect("Must not have privileged permissions to run fingerprints"); } fingerprint::run_fingerprints(&config, out_dir, &process); ``` ```rust // Lines 182-185 — only effective UID changed; ruid/suid stay 0 fn switch_user(uid: u32) -> Result<(), ScannerError> { debug!("... Becoming user: {uid}"); seteuid(uid.into()).map_err(|e| ScannerError::Errno(e)) } ``` ### 2. Execution of untrusted binary (Go — fingerprint) **File:** `fingerprints/pkg/utils/file.go` ```go // Lines 75-80 — executes a path taken verbatim from workload's argv[0] func GetExecutableVersionOutput(executable string) (string, error) { out, err := exec.Command(executable, "--version").Output() if err != nil { return "", err } return string(out), nil } ``` ### 3. Workload-controlled path forwarded (Rust — version_executable) **File:** `version_executable.rs` ```rust // Lines 29-34 — workload-controlled command_line[0] forwarded to fingerprint return Some(vec![ fpr_kind_executable, out_dir.to_string(), String::from(&process.command_line[0]), String::from(&version_executable.runtime_kind_name), ]); ``` ## Attack Pattern **Attacker:** Any tenant able to schedule a pod (unprivileged, any namespace) **Victim:** The node running the insights-runtime-extractor DaemonSet **Trigger:** Automatic — the DaemonSet scans all container processes on the node **Attack sequence:** 1. Attacker creates a pod whose process name matches a configured versioned-executable pattern (`node`, `python`, `python3`, `MainThread`, or contains `java`) 2. The pod's main binary (at the path matching argv[0]) is a malicious executable that calls `setuid(0)` to restore root 3. When the insights operator triggers a scan, the DaemonSet forks, enters the attacker's mount namespace, and executes the attacker's binary with ruid=0 4. The attacker's code regains full root with `CAP_SYS_ADMIN` in the host user namespace 5. The inherited cwd contains the host CRI-O socket → full node compromise | ||||
| CVE-2026-104250 | 1 Unstructured-io | 1 Unstructured | 2026-10-14 | 6.1 Medium |
| The unstructured library provides open-source components for ingesting and pre-processing images and text documents, such as PDFs, HTML, Word docs, and many more. Prior to 0.24.1, partition_html(html_parser_version="v2") and the VLM partitioner can preserve untrusted document tags, attributes, text, and link targets in metadata.text_as_html, while elements_to_html() emits the result as an HTML document. The to_html() path in unstructured/documents/ontology.py does not escape output or reject unsafe URL schemes, allowing event-handler attributes, attribute breakout markup, and javascript: links to survive parsing. When the generated HTML or text_as_html is rendered in a browser, attacker-controlled script can execute in the viewer's origin, including in document-ingestion workflows where a privileged reviewer opens submitted content. This issue is fixed in version 0.24.1. | ||||
