CVE-2022-40150 3 Debian, Jettison Project, Redhat 11 Debian Linux, Jettison, Amq Streams and 8 more 2025-04-21 6.5 Medium
Those using Jettison to parse untrusted XML or JSON data may be vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks (DOS). If the parser is running on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to crash by Out of memory. This effect may support a denial of service attack.
CVE-2022-41853 3 Debian, Hsqldb, Redhat 8 Debian Linux, Hypersql Database, Camel Spring Boot and 5 more 2025-04-21 8 High
Those using java.sql.Statement or java.sql.PreparedStatement in hsqldb (HyperSQL DataBase) to process untrusted input may be vulnerable to a remote code execution attack. By default it is allowed to call any static method of any Java class in the classpath resulting in code execution. The issue can be prevented by updating to 2.7.1 or by setting the system property "hsqldb.method_class_names" to classes which are allowed to be called. For example, System.setProperty("hsqldb.method_class_names", "abc") or Java argument -Dhsqldb.method_class_names="abc" can be used. From version 2.7.1 all classes by default are not accessible except those in java.lang.Math and need to be manually enabled.
CVE-2022-3171 3 Fedoraproject, Google, Redhat 10 Fedora, Google-protobuf, Protobuf-java and 7 more 2025-04-21 4.3 Medium
A parsing issue with binary data in protobuf-java core and lite versions prior to 3.21.7, 3.20.3, 3.19.6 and 3.16.3 can lead to a denial of service attack. Inputs containing multiple instances of non-repeated embedded messages with repeated or unknown fields causes objects to be converted back-n-forth between mutable and immutable forms, resulting in potentially long garbage collection pauses. We recommend updating to the versions mentioned above.
CVE-2022-42895 2 Linux, Redhat 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus and 1 more 2025-04-21 5.1 Medium
There is an infoleak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c's l2cap_parse_conf_req function which can be used to leak kernel pointers remotely. We recommend upgrading past commit  https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/b1a2cd50c0357f243b7435a732b4e62ba3157a2e https://www.google.com/url
CVE-2022-42896 2 Linux, Redhat 8 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 5 more 2025-04-21 8 High
There are use-after-free vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel's net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c's l2cap_connect and l2cap_le_connect_req functions which may allow code execution and leaking kernel memory (respectively) remotely via Bluetooth. A remote attacker could execute code leaking kernel memory via Bluetooth if within proximity of the victim. We recommend upgrading past commit  https://www.google.com/url https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/711f8c3fb3db61897080468586b970c87c61d9e4 https://www.google.com/url
CVE-2024-38428 2 Gnu, Redhat 6 Wget, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 3 more 2025-04-21 9.1 Critical
url.c in GNU Wget through 1.24.5 mishandles semicolons in the userinfo subcomponent of a URI, and thus there may be insecure behavior in which data that was supposed to be in the userinfo subcomponent is misinterpreted to be part of the host subcomponent.
CVE-2017-17712 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-04-20 7.0 High
The raw_sendmsg() function in net/ipv4/raw.c in the Linux kernel through 4.14.6 has a race condition in inet->hdrincl that leads to uninitialized stack pointer usage; this allows a local user to execute code and gain privileges.
CVE-2017-6009 3 Debian, Icoutils Project, Redhat 9 Debian Linux, Icoutils, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2025-04-20 N/A
An issue was discovered in icoutils 0.31.1. A buffer overflow was observed in the "decode_ne_resource_id" function in the "restable.c" source file. This is happening because the "len" parameter for memcpy is not checked for size and thus becomes a negative integer in the process, resulting in a failed memcpy. This affects wrestool.
CVE-2015-5221 5 Fedoraproject, Jasper Project, Opensuse and 2 more 6 Fedora, Jasper, Leap and 3 more 2025-04-20 N/A
Use-after-free vulnerability in the mif_process_cmpt function in libjasper/mif/mif_cod.c in the JasPer JPEG-2000 library before 1.900.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted JPEG 2000 image file.
CVE-2015-5248 1 Redhat 1 Feedhenry Enterprise Mobile Application Platform 2025-04-20 N/A
Reflected file download vulnerability in Red Hat Feedhenry Enterprise Mobile Application Platform.
CVE-2015-5293 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Virtualization Manager 2025-04-20 N/A
Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager 3.6 and earlier gives valid SLAAC IPv6 addresses to interfaces when "boot protocol" is set to None, which might allow remote attackers to communicate with a system designated to be unreachable.

CVE-2017-17805 7 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 4 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 7 more 2025-04-20 7.8 High
The Salsa20 encryption algorithm in the Linux kernel before 4.14.8 does not correctly handle zero-length inputs, allowing a local attacker able to use the AF_ALG-based skcipher interface (CONFIG_CRYPTO_USER_API_SKCIPHER) to cause a denial of service (uninitialized-memory free and kernel crash) or have unspecified other impact by executing a crafted sequence of system calls that use the blkcipher_walk API. Both the generic implementation (crypto/salsa20_generic.c) and x86 implementation (arch/x86/crypto/salsa20_glue.c) of Salsa20 were vulnerable.
CVE-2017-17806 7 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 4 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 6 more 2025-04-20 7.8 High
The HMAC implementation (crypto/hmac.c) in the Linux kernel before 4.14.8 does not validate that the underlying cryptographic hash algorithm is unkeyed, allowing a local attacker able to use the AF_ALG-based hash interface (CONFIG_CRYPTO_USER_API_HASH) and the SHA-3 hash algorithm (CONFIG_CRYPTO_SHA3) to cause a kernel stack buffer overflow by executing a crafted sequence of system calls that encounter a missing SHA-3 initialization.
CVE-2017-3305 3 Debian, Oracle, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Mysql, Rhel Software Collections 2025-04-20 N/A

CVE-2015-5739 3 Fedoraproject, Golang, Redhat 7 Fedora, Go, Enterprise Linux and 4 more 2025-04-20 N/A
The net/http library in net/textproto/reader.go in Go before 1.4.3 does not properly parse HTTP header keys, which allows remote attackers to conduct HTTP request smuggling attacks via a space instead of a hyphen, as demonstrated by "Content Length" instead of "Content-Length."
CVE-2016-7936 2 Redhat, Tcpdump 2 Enterprise Linux, Tcpdump 2025-04-20 N/A
The UDP parser in tcpdump before 4.9.0 has a buffer overflow in print-udp.c:udp_print().
CVE-2017-1000410 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 10 more 2025-04-20 N/A
The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. These are the specifics of this vulnerability: In the function l2cap_parse_conf_rsp and in the function l2cap_parse_conf_req the following variable is declared without initialization: struct l2cap_conf_efs efs; In addition, when parsing input configuration parameters in both of these functions, the switch case for handling EFS elements may skip the memcpy call that will write to the efs variable: ... case L2CAP_CONF_EFS: if (olen == sizeof(efs)) memcpy(&efs, (void *)val, olen); ... The olen in the above if is attacker controlled, and regardless of that if, in both of these functions the efs variable would eventually be added to the outgoing configuration request that is being built: l2cap_add_conf_opt(&ptr, L2CAP_CONF_EFS, sizeof(efs), (unsigned long) &efs); So by sending a configuration request, or response, that contains an L2CAP_CONF_EFS element, but with an element length that is not sizeof(efs) - the memcpy to the uninitialized efs variable can be avoided, and the uninitialized variable would be returned to the attacker (16 bytes).
