| CVE-2026-111115 | 1 Apache | 1 Kafka | 2026-10-30 | 7.5 High |
| Apache Kafka's code-generated readers for flexible protocol versions read a tagged-field count declared by the sender and retain a RawTaggedField object for each unknown field. That count was bounded only by the outer request frame size (socket.request.max.bytes); it was not checked against the remaining buffer bytes or capped. Because each entry can be encoded in as little as two bytes (unknown tag 0, size 0), a modest request can declare tens of millions of tagged fields and force one object allocation per declared field. Flexible request headers (header version 2, used by flexible APIs such as ApiVersions v3) are parsed this way, so the amplification applies to the request header itself. Impact: The flexible request header is parsed on the network thread before authorization, request dispatch, and request-time quota accounting. A client can send a request of a few tens of megabytes whose header declares about 20 million tagged fields, forcing roughly that many RawTaggedField allocations and exhausting broker heap or inducing process-wide GC stalls, denying broker service. Because the header is parsed for pre-authentication APIs such as ApiVersions (v3), the allocation can occur before authentication; no Kafka resource ACL or quota is required. Mitigation: Upgrade to Apache Kafka 4.2.2, 4.3.2, or 4.4.0. Until then, lowering socket.request.max.bytes and restricting network access to broker listeners reduces, but does not remove, exposure. Resolution: From Apache Kafka 4.2.2, 4.3.2, and 4.4.0: generated readers bounds-check the tagged-field count for flexible-versioned messages, rejecting a negative count, a count exceeding the remaining buffer bytes, or a count exceeding a fixed maximum (10,000), before any per-field allocation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119680 | 2026-10-30 | N/A | ||
| A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the chart feature of SharePoint Manager Plus (SPMP) due to improper sanitization and HTML encoding of user-controlled data. An attacker can inject malicious HTML or JavaScript into attributes used to generate charts, including users' full names, site names, or group names. The injected content is stored and subsequently executed in the context of other users' browsers when the affected charts are rendered. This vulnerability was fixed in client application build 4508. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100355 | 2026-10-30 | 3.1 Low | ||
| Campfire is a web-based chat application. In version 1.4.4 and earlier, when a Campfire message contains a link, the server fetches it to build an OpenGraph unfurl preview. `RestrictedHTTP::PrivateNetworkGuard` relied on Ruby's `IPAddr#private? `` IPAddr#loopback?`, and `IPAddr#link_local?` predicates plus IPv4-mapped and IPv4-compatible checks, which do not cover several special-use ranges. An authenticated user can post a link to a hostname resolving to CGNAT `100.64.0.0/10`, NAT64 `64:ff9b::/96` or `64:ff9b:1::/48`, or 6to4 `2002::/16` to bypass the guard and cause server-side requests to internal network resources. The NAT64 and 6to4 ranges can embed an internal IPv4 target. Confidentiality impact is limited to returned OpenGraph metadata, and most internal endpoints return none. There is no integrity or availability impact. An initial fix was released in version 1.4.5. | ||||

| CVE-2026-13595 | 3 Kernel, Linux, Redhat | 7 Util-linux, Util-linux, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2026-10-30 | 6.8 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the libblkid library of util-linux. During nested partition probing, the BSD, Minix, Solaris x86, and UnixWare partition probers cache a raw pointer to a parent partition entry in a dynamically allocated array. When subsequent partition additions cause the array to be reallocated, this pointer becomes stale, leading to a heap use-after-free read. An attacker who can present a crafted block device image (for example, via USB insertion or a loop-mounted disk image) can trigger this flaw without user interaction, as libblkid is invoked automatically by udev/udisks as root on block-device hot-plug events. This could lead to limited information disclosure or denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78410 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 6 Util-linux, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-10-30 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in util-linux. Restricted bind mounts take the source path from fstab but do not pin that source before the privileged mount. A local unprivileged user who can replace the authorized source or a writable ancestor can redirect SUID mount(8) to bind another host directory. If the fstab entry also sets X-mount.owner, X-mount.group, or X-mount.mode, root then changes ownership or mode on that redirected inode. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78408 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 6 Util-linux, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-10-30 | 7.9 High |
| The nsenter --join-cgroup option opens the target cgroup.procs file as root and leaves that file descriptor open across later namespace and credential changes and across execve(). Because the kernel checks later cgroup migrations using the credentials from the original open, a program run in an attacker-controlled target can inherit root's ability to move host processes between cgroups. After a privileged operator uses --join-cgroup against that target, an unprivileged user can migrate and terminate unrelated root processes. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112556 | 1 Apple | 1 Macos | 2026-10-30 | 4.8 Medium |
