| CVE-2026-50261 | 2 Redhat, X.org | 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 8 more | 2026-07-27 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland in SyncChangeCounter(). A client that sets up multiple SyncCounters can trigger a use-after-free when destroying those counters via a second client connection while changing those counters. This may be used to crash the server, or for privilege escalation if the X server runs as root. | ||||
| CVE-2026-50260 | 2 Redhat, X.org | 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 8 more | 2026-07-27 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland in FreeCounter(). A client that sets up multiple SyncCounters and awaits on those triggers can trigger a use-after-free when destroying those counters via a second client connection. This may be used to crash the server, or for privilege escalation if the X server runs as root. | ||||
| CVE-2026-50259 | 3 Redhat, X.org, Xorg | 12 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 9 more | 2026-07-27 | 7.8 High |
| A stack-based buffer overflow flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland. _XkbSetMapChecks() declares a fixed-size stack buffer mapWidths[256] indexed by key type index. The helper function CheckKeyTypes() writes to this buffer at a client-controlled offset, allowing a stack buffer overflow. This may be used to crash the server, or for privilege escalation if the X server runs as root. | ||||
| CVE-2026-50258 | 2 Redhat, X.org | 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 7 more | 2026-07-27 | 7.8 High |
| A stack-based buffer overflow flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland. The X server has multiple stack buffers sized XkbMaxShiftLevel * XkbNumKbdGroups but CheckKeyTypes() does not verify or clamp non-canonical key types to XkbMaxShiftLevel. A client can change key types to excessive shift levels and trigger stack overflows. This is caused by an incomplete fix of CVE-2025-26597. This may be used to crash the server, or for privilege escalation if the X server runs as root. | ||||
| CVE-2026-50257 | 2 Redhat, X.org | 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 8 more | 2026-07-27 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland in miSyncDestroyFence(). A client that sets up multiple fence triggers can trigger a use-after-free function pointer call. An attacker would connect to the X server to set up a fence and await that fence, then a second X connection destroys the fence, causing the use-after-free. This may be used to crash the server, or for privilege escalation if the X server runs as root. | ||||
| CVE-2026-50256 | 2 Redhat, X.org | 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 8 more | 2026-07-27 | 7.8 High |
| A stack-based buffer overflow flaw was found in the X.Org X server and Xwayland. A mismatch between the X server and the libXfont2 library's maximum font name length can cause a stack buffer overflow during font alias resolution. The server allocates a 256 byte stack buffer but libXfont2's alias target name length is 1024 bytes. A font alias name between 257 and 1023 bytes causes the X server to copy that name into the undersized stack buffer without further checks. This may be used to crash the server, or for privilege escalation if the X server runs as root. | ||||
| CVE-2026-10517 | 1 Redhat | 1 Quay | 2026-07-27 | 5.8 Medium |
| Retracted following review by Red Hat Product Security and confirmation from the upstream Clair/Claircore maintainer. This CVE misattributes the described behavior to github.com/quay/claircore: the authentication mechanism in question (optional PSK, HTTP endpoint /indexer/api/v1/index_report) is implemented entirely in github.com/quay/clair; no PSK-related code exists anywhere in claircore's codebase or git history. The unauthenticated indexer API is Clair's documented, intentional design, authentication is an opt-in deployment choice, not a code defect. No fix commit was found in claircore between the version recorded as the affected boundary (1.5.52) and the following release (1.5.53); intervening commits are unrelated dependency and feature changes, so the "fixed in 1.5.52" status is inaccurate. | ||||
| CVE-2026-17039 | 1 Redhat | 2 Certificate System, Enterprise Linux | 2026-07-25 | 3.1 Low |
| A flaw was found in pki-core. The certificate authority (CA) renewal request path does not perform the realm-based authorization check that the enrollment path performs, allowing an authenticated user entitled to one realm to cause a certificate belonging to a different realm to be renewed without that realm's authorization. | ||||
| CVE-2026-12353 | 1 Redhat | 2 Certificate System, Enterprise Linux | 2026-07-24 | 5.3 Medium |
| An unauthenticated attacker could trigger an Out of Memory condition to crash the Java process for RHCS by repeatedly sending HTTP requests to the TLS endpoint. Depending on how the RHCS server is configured, a manual intervention to restart it may prove necessary. | ||||
| CVE-2026-17107 | 1 Redhat | 1 Multicluster Engine | 2026-07-24 | 8.5 High |
| A flaw was found in the cluster-proxy service-proxy component used in Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes (RHACM) and multicluster-engine (MCE). The service-proxy appends impersonation group headers to proxied requests without first removing caller-supplied values, and the spoke ServiceAccount holds unrestricted impersonation permissions. An authenticated hub principal can inject an Impersonate-Group header to escalate to cluster-admin on every managed cluster. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16730 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-07-24 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in dbus-broker. When the process file-descriptor limit is reached, EMFILE/ENFILE errors during peer setup (notably SO_PEERPIDFD) are handled as fatal failures, causing the broker to exit. A local attacker who can open many connections to the user session bus can trigger this and deny service to the desktop session. Flatpak applications can reach the host session bus through the dbus proxy. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64600 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 8 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 5 more | 2026-07-24 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: resample the data fork mapping after cycling ILOCK xfs_reflink_fill_{cow_hole,delalloc} are both presented with an inode, a data fork mapping, and a cow fork mapping. Unfortunately, these two helpers cycle the ILOCK to grab a transaction, which means that the mappings are stale as soon as we reacquire the ILOCK. Currently we refresh the cow fork mapping by re-calling xfs_find_trim_cow_extent, but we don't refresh the data fork mapping beforehand, which means that the xfs_bmap_trim_cow in that function queries the refcount btree about the wrong physical blocks and returns an inaccurate value in *shared. If *shared is now false, the directio write proceeds with a stale data fork mapping. Fix this by querying the data fork mapping if the sequence counter changes across the ILOCK cycle. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53366 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus | 2026-07-24 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: account for fraggap on the paged allocation path In __ip_append_data(), when the paged-allocation branch is taken, alloclen and pagedlen are computed as alloclen = fragheaderlen + transhdrlen; pagedlen = datalen - transhdrlen; datalen already includes fraggap, but the fraggap bytes carried over from the previous skb are copied into the new skb's linear area at offset transhdrlen by the subsequent skb_copy_and_csum_bits(). The linear area is therefore undersized by fraggap bytes while pagedlen is overstated by the same amount. The non-paged branch sets alloclen to fraglen, which already accounts for fraggap because datalen does. Bring the paged branch in line by adding fraggap to alloclen and subtracting it from pagedlen. After this adjustment, copy no longer collapses to -fraggap on the paged path, so remove the stale comment describing that old arithmetic. | ||||
| CVE-2024-42133 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-07-24 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: Ignore too large handle values in BIG hci_le_big_sync_established_evt is necessary to filter out cases where the handle value is belonging to ida id range, otherwise ida will be erroneously released in hci_conn_cleanup. | ||||
| CVE-2024-42132 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-07-24 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bluetooth/hci: disallow setting handle bigger than HCI_CONN_HANDLE_MAX Syzbot hit warning in hci_conn_del() caused by freeing handle that was not allocated using ida allocator. This is caused by handle bigger than HCI_CONN_HANDLE_MAX passed by hci_le_big_sync_established_evt(), which makes code think it's unset connection. Add same check for handle upper bound as in hci_conn_set_handle() to prevent warning. | ||||
| CVE-2024-36013 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-07-24 | 6.8 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix slab-use-after-free in l2cap_connect() Extend a critical section to prevent chan from early freeing. Also make the l2cap_connect() return type void. Nothing is using the returned value but it is ugly to return a potentially freed pointer. Making it void will help with backports because earlier kernels did use the return value. Now the compile will break for kernels where this patch is not a complete fix. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: restore set elements when delete set fails From abort path, nft_mapelem_activate() needs to restore refcounters to the original state. Currently, it uses the set->ops->walk() to iterate over these set elements. The existing set iterator skips inactive elements in the next generation, this does not work from the abort path to restore the original state since it has to skip active elements instead (not inactive ones). This patch moves the check for inactive elements to the set iterator callback, then it reverses the logic for the .activate case which needs to skip active elements. Toggle next generation bit for elements when delete set command is invoked and call nft_clear() from .activate (abort) path to restore the next generation bit. | CVE-2024-26631 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-07-24 | 2.5 Low |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: mcast: fix data-race in ipv6_mc_down / mld_ifc_work idev->mc_ifc_count can be written over without proper locking. Originally found by syzbot [1], fix this issue by encapsulating calls to mld_ifc_stop_work() (and mld_gq_stop_work() for good measure) with mutex_lock() and mutex_unlock() accordingly as these functions should only be called with mc_lock per their declarations. | CVE-2026-16743 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-07-24 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in accountsservice. The systemd-homed code path for SetIconFile opens a user-supplied filename as root without the validation and privilege drop performed by the classic handler. A local attacker with a systemd-homed-managed account can read arbitrary files accessible to the accounts-daemon process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16910 | 1 Redhat | 2 Openshift Update Service, Quay | 2026-07-24 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay's notification webhook feature. The Slack and generic webhook notification handlers accept user-supplied URLs without SSRF validation, allowing a repository administrator to make the Quay worker issue POST requests to internal network addresses or cloud infrastructure endpoints that should not be reachable from the application. | ||||
