| CVE-2017-16516 | 2 Debian, Yajl-ruby Project | 2 Debian Linux, Yajl-ruby | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |
| In the yajl-ruby gem 1.3.0 for Ruby, when a crafted JSON file is supplied to Yajl::Parser.new.parse, the whole ruby process crashes with a SIGABRT in the yajl_string_decode function in yajl_encode.c. This results in the whole ruby process terminating and potentially a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000410 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 10 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. These are the specifics of this vulnerability: In the function l2cap_parse_conf_rsp and in the function l2cap_parse_conf_req the following variable is declared without initialization: struct l2cap_conf_efs efs; In addition, when parsing input configuration parameters in both of these functions, the switch case for handling EFS elements may skip the memcpy call that will write to the efs variable: ... case L2CAP_CONF_EFS: if (olen == sizeof(efs)) memcpy(&efs, (void *)val, olen); ... The olen in the above if is attacker controlled, and regardless of that if, in both of these functions the efs variable would eventually be added to the outgoing configuration request that is being built: l2cap_add_conf_opt(&ptr, L2CAP_CONF_EFS, sizeof(efs), (unsigned long) &efs); So by sending a configuration request, or response, that contains an L2CAP_CONF_EFS element, but with an element length that is not sizeof(efs) - the memcpy to the uninitialized efs variable can be avoided, and the uninitialized variable would be returned to the attacker (16 bytes). | ||||
| CVE-2017-15930 | 2 Debian, Graphicsmagick | 2 Debian Linux, Graphicsmagick | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In ReadOneJNGImage in coders/png.c in GraphicsMagick 1.3.26, a Null Pointer Dereference occurs while transferring JPEG scanlines, related to a PixelPacket pointer. | ||||
| CVE-2016-8863 | 2 Debian, Libupnp Project | 2 Debian Linux, Libupnp | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in the create_url_list function in gena/gena_device.c in Portable UPnP SDK (aka libupnp) before 1.6.21 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a valid URI followed by an invalid one in the CALLBACK header of an SUBSCRIBE request. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14064 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Redhat and 1 more | 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 8 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Ruby through 2.2.7, 2.3.x through 2.3.4, and 2.4.x through 2.4.1 can expose arbitrary memory during a JSON.generate call. The issues lies in using strdup in ext/json/ext/generator/generator.c, which will stop after encountering a '\0' byte, returning a pointer to a string of length zero, which is not the length stored in space_len. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000385 | 3 Debian, Erlang, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Erlang\/otp, Cloudforms Managementengine and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The Erlang otp TLS server answers with different TLS alerts to different error types in the RSA PKCS #1 1.5 padding. This allows an attacker to decrypt content or sign messages with the server's private key (this is a variation of the Bleichenbacher attack). | ||||
| CVE-2017-14997 | 2 Debian, Graphicsmagick | 2 Debian Linux, Graphicsmagick | 2025-04-20 | N/A |

| GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 has double free vulnerabilities in the ReadOneJNGImage() function in coders/png.c. | ||||
| CVE-2017-15721 | 2 Debian, Irssi | 2 Debian Linux, Irssi | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In Irssi before 1.0.5, certain incorrectly formatted DCC CTCP messages could cause a NULL pointer dereference. This is a separate, but similar, issue relative to CVE-2017-9468. | ||||
