| CVE-2026-48087 | 1 Open-reception | 1 Appointment-booking-software | 2026-08-07 | 9.8 Critical |
| OpenReception's appointment booking software provides an end-to-end encrypted appointment booking platform. Prior to version 1.0.2, the registration handler at `POST /api/auth/register/{userId}` validates the relationship between the WebAuthn challenge and the registration cookie's email but never validates that the `userId` in the URL belongs to that email. An unauthenticated attacker requests a challenge for their own email, generates a registration response with their own authenticator, and submits it against any victim user's URL. The challenge-vs-cookie email match passes, the WebAuthn ceremony validates, and `addPasskey` writes the attacker's credential into the victim's `user_passkey` rows. The next victim-email login accepts a passkey assertion from the attacker's authenticator and issues a session as the victim. User IDs are not strictly secret on this platform, but the exact set of exposure surfaces should be assessed by the maintainers. Staff-list endpoints return user IDs to authenticated tenant members per the route signature; live verification of all exposure surfaces (whether user IDs leak through any unauthenticated route, through invite-confirmation URLs, or through other administrative views) is part of the pending live PoC. Where the attacker knows the victim's email and userId, the analysis below becomes account takeover. Version 1.0.2 fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48054 | 1 Openzeppelin | 1 Contracts-wizard | 2026-08-07 | 8.8 High |
| OpenZeppelin Contracts Wizardis a web application to interactively build a contract out of components from OpenZeppelin Contracts. Versions prior to 0.10.9 generate a Hardhat test file (`test/test.ts`) by interpolating user-supplied `opts.name` (ERC20/ERC721) and `opts.uri` (ERC1155) directly into TypeScript string literals at `zip-hardhat.ts:48` and `:50` without any JavaScript string escaping. No authentication is required: an attacker crafts a URL such as `https[:]//wizard[.]openzeppelin[.]com/#/erc20?name=");require("child_process").execSync("...");("` and shares it with a developer. When the victim downloads the resulting zip archive and runs `npx hardhat test`, the injected Node.js code executes with the developer's local OS privileges. Version 0.10.9 fixes the issue. | ||||

The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
| CVE-2026-14364 | 2026-08-07 | 9.8 Critical | ||
| The TrueBooker – Appointment Booking and Scheduler System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to account takeover via improper password reset validation in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.3. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's identity before resetting their password. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to reset the password of arbitrary user accounts, including administrators, and gain access to those accounts. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15816 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-08-07 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in dracut. The die() error-handling function writes its message into a shell script under the initramfs emergency-hook directory without properly shell-quoting it. When the message contains data derived from the DHCP ROOT_PATH option, an attacker on the adjacent network who controls a rogue DHCP server can inject a command-substitution sequence that executes as root the next time dracut sources its emergency hook scripts during standard boot-failure handling. | ||||

The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
| CVE-2026-62996 | 1 Smarty-php | 1 Smarty | 2026-08-07 | N/A |
| Smarty is a template engine for PHP, facilitating the separation of presentation (HTML/CSS) from application logic. From 5.0.0 until 5.8.4, Smarty's stream: resource-name handling does not adequately restrict which PHP stream wrappers and filter chains can be referenced from a template, allowing a php://filter-wrapped resource name to be used to read the contents of arbitrary local files accessible to the PHP process. An attacker able to author or influence a template's resource reference could exploit this to disclose sensitive file contents outside the intended template/config scope. This issue is fixed in version 5.8.4. | ||||
| CVE-2026-67422 | 1 Facelessuser | 1 Pymdown Extensions | 2026-08-07 | 7.5 High |
| pymdown-extensions is a collection of extensions for the Python Markdown library. In versions up to and including 11.0, four inline processors (caret, tilde, betterem, and magiclink) use regular expressions whose content groups can partition a run of delimiter characters in exponentially many ways, causing catastrophic backtracking. As a result, a single untrusted Markdown line under 50 bytes rendered with markdown.markdown() in each extension's default configuration drives the rendering thread into unbounded CPU usage that grows exponentially with input length, enabling an unauthenticated remote attacker who can submit Markdown to cause denial of service. The exposure is concrete for web applications that render user-supplied Markdown (comments, wikis, issue bodies, live preview), including any app using pymdownx.extra which bundles the vulnerable betterem default, as well as hosted docs/CI systems that build untrusted Markdown. The issue has been fixed in version 11.0.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-10599 | 2026-08-07 | 7.5 High | ||
| The Integrate PhonePe with WooCommerce WordPress plugin through 1.2.1 does not validate that a verified payment transaction belongs to the order being marked as paid, nor does it verify the authenticity of its payment-completion request, allowing unauthenticated attackers to reuse a single valid transaction to mark arbitrary orders as paid and bypass payment. | ||||
| CVE-2026-67585 | 1 Divvypayhq | 1 Absinthe Federation | 2026-08-07 | N/A |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in DivvyPayHQ absinthe_federation allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to abort the Erlang VM via crafted _entities representation keys. Every key of every object in the representations argument of the federation-mandated _entities field is converted with String.to_atom/1 by convert_key/2 in lib/absinthe/federation/schema/entities_field.ex. representations is typed as the open-ended _Any scalar, so its keys bypass schema coercion and the attacker names them freely. Atoms are never garbage collected and the BEAM atom table is hard-capped (about 1,048,576 entries by default), so one request carrying tens of thousands of unique keys creates that many permanent atoms and a handful of such requests exhausts the table and aborts the node. The impact is confined to availability: no data is read or altered, and recovery requires restarting the application. This issue affects absinthe_federation: from 0.1.0 before 0.9.3. | ||||
| CVE-2026-20346 | 2026-08-07 | 7.5 High | ||
| A vulnerability in the PDF file format parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition or possibly other expanded impacts as a result of memory corruption on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper boundary checks for content in PDF files during scanning, which may result in an out-of-bounds buffer read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted PDF file to be scanned by ClamAV on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software. | ||||
| CVE-2026-20338 | 2026-08-07 | 7.5 High | ||
| A vulnerability in the zip archive parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper memory handling when processing content in zip files during scanning. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted zip file for scanning. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate as a result of a memory double-free, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software. | ||||
| CVE-2026-20337 | 2026-08-07 | 7.5 High | ||
| A vulnerability in the zip archive parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper boundary checks for content in zip files during scanning, which may result in an out-of-bounds write condition. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted zip file for scanning. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software. | ||||
