| Any authenticated user can lock or unlock files they do not own by targeting absolute WebDAV paths of other users. The DAV plugin resolves files from the absolute request URI without verifying that the path segment matches the authenticated session user. This enables:
Cross-user manual locks : attacker locks a victim's files, blocking writes (PUT/MOVE/DELETE, editor saves).
Lock-token disclosure: the app returns the lock token to unauthorized callers, enabling them to remove token-based locks (client locks) of other users. |

| The Photos app's filter-based "smart albums" build their file listing using the search configuration (photosSourceFolders) of the user viewing the album, rather than the album owner's configuration. When an album owner shares a smart album with another user, that user's own folder configuration is used to determine which of the owner's files are searched — allowing them to discover files (name, file ID, and other metadata) in folders the album owner never intended to include in the shared album.
This requires the album owner to have shared a filter-based smart album with the attacker; it does not allow access to arbitrary users' files without such a share. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ublk: clear VM_MAYWRITE on read-only ublk char device mmap
ublk_ch_mmap() rejects mmap requests with VM_WRITE set, but never
clears VM_MAYWRITE on the resulting read-only mapping. This allows
a userspace daemon to mmap the per-queue command buffer PROT_READ,
then upgrade it to PROT_WRITE via mprotect(), since VM_MAYWRITE was
never cleared.
The command buffer holds struct ublksrv_io_desc entries that are
kernel-written ABI; a writable mapping lets an unprivileged daemon
process corrupt fields such as addr, op_flags, nr_sectors, and
start_sector.
Same bug class as the drm/panthor and drm/vc4 VM_MAYWRITE fixes, and
the 2026-08-13 ptp/vmclock fix (a5edadbae57e).
Verified via mprotect() PoC: before the fix, a PROT_READ mapping can
be upgraded to PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE and a write into the command
buffer corrupts io_desc fields (confirmed under KASAN). After the
fix, mprotect() returns -EACCES. |
| In AVideo through 29.0, the autoCSRFGuard() function maintains a hardcoded allowlist of exempt basenames tested without directory context, allowing plugin files matching core filenames to inherit CSRF exemptions. The LoginWordPress plugin file login.json.php inherits an exemption and unconditionally logs out authenticated users on cross-site POST requests before validating credentials. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
f2fs: use the mount idmap for the owner check in f2fs_xattr_advise_set()
f2fs_xattr_advise_set() calls inode_owner_or_capable() with &nop_mnt_idmap
before allowing the "system.advise" xattr to be set, instead of the idmap
that the VFS passes to the ->set() handler.
f2fs supports idmapped mounts, so on such a mount this checks the caller's
fsuid against the unmapped on-disk owner rather than the mapped owner: the
actual owner can be wrongly denied with -EPERM and an unrelated caller
wrongly allowed. Pass the handler's idmap instead. |

| RMCP is an official Rust SDK for the Model Context Protocol. Prior to 2.0.0, the rmcp crate's OAuth implementation in crates/rmcp/src/transport/auth.rs omits the RFC 9728 resource field from ResourceServerMetadata and allows discover_oauth_server_via_resource_metadata to use protected-resource metadata without confirming that the returned resource identifier exactly matches the configured MCP server. A malicious MCP server can publish metadata for a different legitimate MCP resource and its authorization server, causing a victim who connects and completes the authorization flow to obtain a legitimate access token that the client subsequently sends to the malicious server. The attacker can capture the token and impersonate the victim against the legitimate MCP resource within the token's granted scopes. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.0. |

The workspace app enables organizations to delegate limited administrative privileges for team folder management via API/REST only, restricting access to folders for which the admin has advanced permissions. |
| A flaw was found in the Wildfly Server Role Based Access Control (RBAC) provider. When authorization to control management operations is secured using the Role Based Access Control provider, a user without the required privileges can suspend or resume the server. A user with a Monitor or Auditor role is supposed to have only read access permissions and should not be able to suspend the server.
The vulnerability is caused by the Suspend and Resume handlers not performing authorization checks to validate whether the current user has the required permissions to proceed with the action. |
