CVSS v3.1 |
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.30.0 until 4.2.1, StrictSoftFileLock versions from 3.30.0 and SoftReadWriteLock versions from 4.0.0 can adopt a protocol directory created first by another local user in a shared parent directory, allowing that user to alter protocol state and admit concurrent holders. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. Prior to 4.2.1, UnixFileLock can truncate a regular file renamed onto the lock path when another local user has actual rename permission, or hard-linked there under a permissive hard-link policy; when an explicit mode is requested, affected versions from 3.10.2 can also change that file's mode. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.20.4 until 4.2.1, ReadWriteLock let SQLite reopen the database and side files by name; on POSIX systems an attacker with rename access in a non-sticky parent can swap those names to cause overwrite or unlink operations, while a writable adjacent hot journal is additionally required for attacker-chosen content overwrites. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.22.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can break a stale marker after an attacker frees its own marker following the stale read, an honest contender creates a live successor on the reused inode, and the successor's modification time is not newer than the saved observation, causing the live marker to be removed and two holders to be admitted. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can restore a stale marker by name after moving it aside, allowing another local user with rename access in a non-sticky lock directory to swap in a symbolic link and, on a runtime that follows the link and a same-filesystem target, make the lock user hard-link one of its files into the lock directory. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.1.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow can enter an infinite loop while rewriting PDF pages. PdfParser.rewrite_pages() follows Parent relationships without detecting a cycle in the page tree. An attacker can supply a cyclic PDF to an application that appends an image to that PDF. This can hold the worker at full CPU and deny service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
Integer overflow or wraparound in Microsoft Office Outlook allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.22.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can trust a forged process identifier in a marker that an attacker can modify but cannot remove, allowing an authorized contender such as another process of the holder's account or root to act as a confused deputy, remove the live marker, and admit another holder. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.32.6 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can follow a swapped symbolic link during the conditional os.access writability check for a node without its owner-write bit, allowing another local user on a platform and directory configuration that follows the link to infer whether a chosen path exists and is writable from the observable acquisition result. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock versions from 4.1.0 can reuse a stale observation when an attacker pre-dates and removes its own marker, at least two lock-user processes are waiting, coarse or matching modification times preserve the observation, and an honest contender creates a fresh marker on the reused inode, causing that live marker to be removed as stale. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 9.2.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow performs quadratic copying when saving a GIF with a long comment. _get_global_header() repeatedly copies portions of comment data while assembling the global header, including comments retained from an untrusted input image. An attacker can supply an image with a large GIF comment to an application that saves it as GIF. This can consume excessive CPU and delay or deny service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
A vulnerability could allow a remote authenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution with privileges on the service.
In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery versions starting with 2022.3.1109 and prior to 2026.3.1015, ToolBar ButtonGroup button URLs are concatenated into an unquoted href attribute after URL sanitization. An attacker who can control a button URL can supply an otherwise allowed HTTPS URL containing whitespace and additional attributes, including an event handler, and execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the affected button is interacted with. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015.
In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery prior to 2026.3.1015, Model.accept passes server-response keys to kendo.setter without guarding against unsafe object paths containing __proto__, constructor, or prototype. An attacker who can supply data accepted by an affected model can modify object prototype attributes and influence application behavior, potentially compromising the confidentiality and integrity of application data. The impact depends on how the application uses the modified objects, including in server-side JavaScript scenarios. The earliest affected version has not been confirmed. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015.
In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery releases starting with v2020.1.114 and prior to 2026.3.1015, the Badge text method renders string values as raw HTML without encoding, including values supplied through text binding. An attacker who can modify data bound to a Badge can supply HTML containing event handlers that execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the Badge renders the value. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015.
In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery versions starting with 2023.3.1010 and prior to 2026.3.1015, the FileManager component renders remotely supplied item names as HTML in its default drag hint even though the corresponding list items are encoded. An attacker who can control an item name can inject HTML containing event handlers that execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the user drags the affected item. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015.
A flaw was found in sssd. A local user can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting the responder service's available file descriptors (system handles used for open connections). By opening and maintaining many concurrent connections to a responder socket while continuing to queue new connection attempts, an attacker can trigger an unthrottled retry loop. This condition leads to high CPU utilization and stalls the service, preventing legitimate identity and authentication requests from being processed.
In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery versions starting with v2023.1.117 and prior to v2026.3.1015, the FileBrowser and ImageBrowser components render remotely supplied file and directory names as HTML without proper encoding. An attacker-controlled name containing script-related HTML can execute JavaScript in the user's browser, compromising the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application.
In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery prior to v2026.3.1015, the Menu component constructs HTML attributes from bound dataSource fields by string concatenation without proper neutralization. An attacker with low privileges who can control these fields can inject JavaScript event-handler attributes that execute when a user interacts with the affected Menu, compromising the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible in the user's browser context.
In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery versions starting with 2012.2.710 and prior to 2026.3.1015, the Validator decodes validation messages from data-msg-* attributes and parses the resulting text as HTML. An attacker who can modify a validation message can cause HTML that was correctly escaped in the page attribute to become active markup, including event handlers, when the user triggers validation. Successful exploitation can execute JavaScript in a user's browser and compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015.
