| A vulnerability has been identified in EGroupware that may lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE). The issue allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the server. If user self-registration is enabled, the vulnerability may be exploitable without prior authentication. The vulnerability stems from improper authorization checks combined with a file write primitive and an arbitrary file read vulnerability, which together enable full system compromise. This has been patched in versions 26.2.20260224 and 23.1.20260224. |
| A remote code execution vulnerability was found in libaom, the reference AV1 codec implementation. Insufficient bounds validation in the AV1 encoder's SVC (Scalable Video Coding) layer ID control allows an attacker to supply crafted video frame pixels that overlap with internal encoder layer context structures. In fork-based video processing services, an attacker can use this to hijack the cyclic refresh map pointer, brute-force the process base address via a crash oracle, and redirect control flow to achieve arbitrary command execution. Exploitation requires the target service to use libaom with SVC encoding enabled and accept attacker-supplied video frames. |
| Improper Isolation or Compartmentalization vulnerability in Apache Syncope.
An administrator with adequate entitlements can achieve remote code execution through the connector subsystem by relying on scripted connectors' (REST and SQL) capability to run Groovy scripts.
This issue affects Apache Syncope: from 3.0.0-M0 through 3.0.16, from 4.0.0-M0 Through 4.0.6, from 4.1.0-M0 through 4.1.1.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.0.7 / 4.1.2, which fix this issue by hardening the Groovy security sandbox. |
| In egroupware version 26.0 and earlier, an authenticated administrator can achieve OS-level Remote Code Execution (RCE) by uploading a malicious eTemplate XML file (`.xet`) to the VFS `/etemplates` mount. The `Widget::expand_name()` method passes template widget attribute values directly into a PHP `eval()` call with only double-quote escaping applied - **backtick characters are not escaped**. In PHP, backticks inside a double-quoted `eval()` string execute shell commands. This allows an admin-level user to escalate from web application access to arbitrary OS command execution on the server. |
| xrdp is an open source RDP server. Versions 0.10.6 and prior contain a missing bounds check in xrdp, which allows a heap-based buffer overflow when operating in vnc-any mode. The issue occurs during the handling of RFB protocol color map messages from a VNC server, where incoming color indices are not properly validated. A malicious VNC server can exploit this flaw by sending crafted messages with out-of-range values, leading to an out-of-bounds write on the heap. This memory corruption can result in a denial of service (DoS) or potentially allow remote code execution (RCE) prior to authentication. This issue has been fixed in version 0.10.6.1. |
| Chamilo version 1.11.40 and earlier are vulnerable to authenticated remote code execution in the main/inc/ajax/lang.ajax.php path. This endpoint is protected only by `api_protect_course_script(true)`, which means any authenticated user enrolled in a course (student, teacher, DRH) can reach it. |

| Metabase is an open-source business intelligence and embedded analytics tool. From 1.54.0 until 1.54.24, 1.55.24, 1.56.25, 1.57.19, 1.58.14, 1.59.10, and 1.60.4, a Metabase user with permission to add or edit a database connection can achieve remote code execution on the Metabase server by configuring a Snowflake connection to an attacker-controlled server, because a flaw in the Snowflake JDBC driver can write arbitrary files anywhere on the Metabase host, including replacing one of Metabase's own database driver files that later executes inside the Metabase process. This issue is fixed in versions 1.54.24, 1.55.24, 1.56.25, 1.57.19, 1.58.14, 1.59.10, and 1.60.4. |
| IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.10.0 contain a critical remote code execution vulnerability in the disk-based caching mechanism. The AsyncDiskCache class uses Python's unsafe pickle.loads() function to deserialize cached objects from disk without validation, integrity verification, or authentication, enabling arbitrary code execution when malicious pickle payloads are processed. Attackers who can influence cached data through file system access, malicious workflow inputs, custom components, or API manipulation can achieve complete system compromise with the privileges of the Langflow server process. |
| PyTorch Lightning through 2.6.5, fixed in commit d710d68, contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the _load_state function that imports and executes attacker-controlled module names from checkpoint _instantiator hyperparameters. Attackers can craft malicious checkpoint files that bypass weights_only=True protections to execute arbitrary code when LightningModule.load_from_checkpoint is called. |

Prior to 11.5.17 (LTS) and 12.3.7, multiple Pimcore locations call PHP's unserialize() on data from database columns and filesystem files without the allowed_classes restriction, including lib/Tool/Authentication.php, models/Site/Dao.php, models/DataObject/ClassDefinition/CustomLayout/Dao.php, models/Tool/TmpStore/Dao.php, models/Asset/WebDAV/Service.php, and admin-ui-classic-bundle/src/Helper/Dashboard.php, enabling object injection and remote code execution if an attacker can control the serialized data source. This issue is fixed in versions 11.5.17 (LTS) and 12.3.7. |
