Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in WP Chill Download Monitor download-monitor allows Stored XSS.This issue affects Download Monitor: from n/a through 5.3.3.
undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 6.5.0 through 6.29.0, 7.0.0 through 7.30.0, and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, its EventSource client can be driven to exhaust process memory by a malicious or compromised Server-Sent Events peer. By sending millions of tiny completed data fields with no blank event separator, or a single unfinished line split across many chunks, the parser retains a growing amount of per-field and per-chunk state that the byte-based maxEventSize and maxResponseSize limits do not bound, and because maxResponseSize is enforced on the compressed body before decompression, a small compressed response can expand into enough retained memory to terminate the process. An application only needs to maintain an EventSource connection to an untrusted peer, which controls only the response, and availability is the only impact. The issue is fixed in undici 6.29.1, 7.30.1, and 8.12.2, which bound the retained parser state independently of the byte limits, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. There is no workaround.
react/http is an event-driven, streaming HTTP client and server implementation for ReactPHP. From 1.0.0 until 1.11.1, React\Http\Browser uses ClientRequestStream::handleData() to append response-header bytes to an internal buffer without enforcing a size limit. A remote server can send a valid status line and partial header, withhold the \r\n\r\n or \n\n header terminator, and continue streaming data so the buffer grows for the life of the connection. Applications that fetch attacker-controlled or attacker-influenced URLs, including URLs reached through redirects, can exhaust PHP memory_limit and crash the event-loop or worker process. Confidentiality and integrity are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.1.
joserfc is a Python library that provides an implementation of several JSON Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE) standards. Prior to 1.7.4, joserfc.jws.deserialize_json() accepts a JWS General JSON Serialization with an empty signatures array as authenticated. The verify_general_json() loop performs no iterations for the empty array and returns success because no signature check failed, allowing an attacker without a signing key to supply an arbitrary payload that relying applications may treat as authentic. The issue affects the General JSON Serialization path; compact JWS and JWT decoding, Flattened JSON serialization, and JWE JSON processing do not follow this vulnerable path. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.4.
Scoold is a Q&A and a knowledge sharing platform for teams. Prior to 1.69.1, the apiCorsConfiguration() method in src/main/java/com/erudika/scoold/ScooldServer.java combines addAllowedOriginPattern("*") with setAllowCredentials(true), causing Spring to reflect any requesting origin while allowing cookies or session tokens. A malicious website visited by a logged-in Scoold user can therefore issue authenticated API requests, read user data, questions, and configuration, and trigger state-changing operations on the user's behalf. This issue is fixed in version 1.69.1.
Scoold is a Q&A and a knowledge sharing platform for teams. Prior to 1.69.1, the getBackToUrl() method in src/main/java/com/erudika/scoold/utils/HttpUtils.java validates the backto and returnto parameters with Strings.CI.startsWith against the configured server URL. An attacker can supply an absolute URL whose hostname begins with the legitimate hostname, causing URI.resolve() to retain the attacker URL and the prefix check to accept it. A victim who follows the crafted sign-in link can be redirected to an attacker-controlled domain after authentication, enabling phishing and possible credential or token theft. This issue is fixed in version 1.69.1.
Scoold is a Q&A and a knowledge sharing platform for teams. Prior to 1.69.1, checkApiAuth() in src/main/java/com/erudika/scoold/utils/ScooldUtils.java accepts a JWT signed with app_secret_key or para_secret_key for /api/config and /api/stats without requiring a registered API-key jti, and maps the request to the hardcoded administrative API_USER. The special endpoint checks run even when scoold.api_enabled is false. An attacker who obtains either signing secret can forge a token that reads sensitive configuration and server logs and reaches privileged configuration functionality, while an ordinary login-session token is not sufficient. This issue is fixed in version 1.69.1.
undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 5.15.0 through 6.29.0, 7.0.0 through 7.30.0, and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, its WebSocket client, including the bundled WebSocket exposed by Node.js, can be driven to exhaust process memory by a malicious or compromised WebSocket server. For every PING frame received, the client automatically writes a PONG response and ignores the backpressure signal from the socket write, so a server that streams small PING frames while never reading the client's PONGs makes the outbound write queue and heap grow without bound until the Node.js process runs out of memory and terminates. The attack is remote and unauthenticated, needs only a normal WebSocket connection, and is asymmetric, since small inbound PINGs produce a much larger retained outbound queue, with availability the only impact. The issue is fixed in undici 6.29.1, 7.30.1, and 8.12.2, which pause WebSocket frame parsing when the automatic PONG response hits socket backpressure and resume on drain, bounding the outbound queue, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. There is no workaround.
Netgate pfSense CE 2.7.0 through 2.9.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows authenticated users with QinQ edit privilege to run commands by storing an unvalidated parent interface name. Attackers can save a crafted 'if' value, then edit the QinQ entry so it is interpolated into ifconfig shell commands, executing commands as root.
The Tourfic – AI Powered Travel Booking, Hotel Booking & Car Rental plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'type' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The wp_kses_post filter applied on save does not strip the payload because angle-bracket characters are not required, allowing the unescaped attribute value to survive storage and fire as a live event handler in the unauthenticated (guest) rendering branch.
The Simply Schedule Appointments plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'status' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.12.35 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The malicious payload is stored unconditionally because debug logging is enabled by default, and the debug-log viewer is accessible to anyone holding the site-wide Support PIN (an HMAC-MD5 of AUTH_SALT displayed in wp-admin), meaning the injected script will execute against the administrator's session during ordinary support or troubleshooting workflows.
A vulnerability has been found in SPA-Cart eCommerce CMS 1.9.0.3. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file /search of the component GET Parameter Handler. Such manipulation of the argument filter[brandid] leads to sql injection. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 1.9.1.4 is sufficient to resolve this issue. You should upgrade the affected component.
Agentfront mcp-from-openapi from 2.2.0 before 2.9.0 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows attackers to bypass the ssrf.blockedHosts denylist using trailing-dot hostnames. Attackers who control an OpenAPI spec URL or redirect target can append a root dot to a blocked hostname to fetch content from operator-blocked hosts.
mcp-from-openapi from 2.5.0 before 2.9.0 contains a credential exposure vulnerability that allows attackers to capture Authorization and Cookie headers because safeFetch() forwards them on cross-origin redirects. Attackers controlling a spec host or abusing an open redirect can redirect fromURL() spec requests to their own origin to steal bearer tokens or cookies.
The Otter Blocks WordPress plugin before 3.2.8 does not correctly determine whether a post is publicly readable before returning its data through a REST API endpoint, treating any post with the published status as public, allowing unauthenticated users to read manual excerpts of password-protected posts, the content and titles of non-public post types, and, on WooCommerce sites, coupon codes and their descriptions.
The Essential Addons for Elementor WordPress plugin before 6.8.7 does not validate the HTML tag setting of some of its widgets before using it to build markup, which could allow users with the author role and above to inject iframe and form elements into published pages.
The Speed Optimizer WordPress plugin before 7.8.5 does not verify network-level privilege before applying an option change to the whole multisite network, nor restrict which option may be changed, allowing a site administrator who is not a Super Admin to create or overwrite network-wide options.
The User Profile Builder WordPress plugin before 4.0.5 does not verify that a user is authorized to edit the specific account selected on its front-end Edit Profile form, allowing an Administrator of a Multisite subsite to change any other user's account email, including a Network Super Admin's, and take over that account through the password-reset flow.
The Popup Builder WordPress plugin before 4.4.6 does not perform authorization checks before trashing popup content in a maintenance routine that runs on unauthenticated requests, allowing unauthenticated attackers to move affected popups into the Trash and overwrite their stored preview data.
The LiteSpeed Cache WordPress plugin before 7.9.2 does not perform a capability check on its admin-notice dismissal handler, and the nonce it relies on is not bound to the specific notice being dismissed, so on sites in certain configurations a low-privileged authenticated user (Subscriber) can dismiss administrative notices the LiteSpeed Cache WordPress plugin before 7.9.2 marks as non-dismissible, including a warning that sensitive files may be publicly accessible.
