CVSS v3.1 |
| In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions up to and including 6.5.2.202603, the NetX Secure X.509 parser accepts a certificate whose signature is an empty BIT STRING and records a signature length of 0xFFFFFFFF. A remote peer can present such a certificate during the TLS handshake, before authentication, and make the device read far outside the certificate buffer during signature verification, which is expected to fault. |
| In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions up to and including 6.5.2.202603, the SNMP agent's OID parser uses a multi-byte BER length from the request without checking it against the bytes present, and reads past the end of the packet buffer. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted SNMP request that makes the agent read adjacent memory into its OID state, faulting the agent on targets with memory protection. |
| A flaw was found in pppd. A remote attacker could exploit a buffer overflow vulnerability in the PEAP response handling. By sending a specially crafted PEAP Request packet, an attacker could cause the pppd process to corrupt global static data, leading to incorrect behavior or a system crash. |
| Improper invalidation of cached authorizations vulnerability in Apache ActiveMQ, Apache ActiveMQ Runtime Config.
After the runtime configuration plugin removes a principal's write grant on a destination, an authenticated connection opened before the change can keep sending to that destination, including through a new anonymous producer, while fresh connections and new explicit producers are denied.
This issue affects Apache ActiveMQ: from 6.0.0 before 6.3.3, before 5.19.12; Apache ActiveMQ Runtime Config: from 6.0.0 before 6.3.3, before 5.19.12.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.4.0, 6.3.3 or 5.19.12, which fixes the issue. |
| Improper input validation vulnerability in Apache ActiveMQ, Apache ActiveMQ KahaDB.
The ActiveMQ broker resolves connection, session and consumer state from ids that are user provided and in some scenarios does not validate that they ids are bound to that user. This allows an authenticated client to spoof another user's ids. This allows:
* an authenticated client consumes from another connection's temporary queue/topic by putting the victim's connection id in its own ConsumerId, bypassing the broker-side ownership check.
* a duplicate ConsumerId registration is only logged, after which the attacker's RemoveInfo or disconnect tears down the victim's live subscription
* a forged MessageAck for the victim's ConsumerId permanently deletes an in-flight, unacknowledged message.
This issue affects Apache ActiveMQ: from 6.0.0 before 6.3.3, before 5.19.12; Apache ActiveMQ KahaDB: from 6.0.0 before 6.3.3, before 5.19.12.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.4.0, 6.3.3, or 5.19.12, which fixes the issue. |
| In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions up to and including 6.5.2.202603, the RTSP server returns a raw parser error for a malformed Session header and never releases the response packet it allocated. An unauthenticated client can drain the server's packet pool with a few dozen requests, stopping the RTSP server and, where the pool is shared, the rest of the network stack until the device restarts. |
| Race condition in Voice in Google Chrome on on Android prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a local attacker to bypass system access restrictions into a privileged page via a co-installed app. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions up to and including 6.5.2.202603, the mDNS add-on's string cache accepts a shorter name as a match for a longer stored one. A host on the local link can send two mDNS records that make a device performing continuous service discovery write up to three bytes past its transmit packet, corrupting a neighbouring packet or the pool's free list, and misattribute discovered records. |
| In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions up to and including 6.5.2.202603, built with IPv6, the ICMPv6 option validator accepts an option area that ends in a one- or two-byte residue, and the Router Advertisement, Neighbor Solicitation, Neighbor Advertisement and Redirect handlers then walk it without length checks. A host on the local link can send one such message to make the IP thread read past the packet or loop forever, and can place off-packet memory in the neighbor cache. |
| In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions up to and including 6.5.2.202603, built with packet chaining, the TFTP server does not bound the length of a received DATA datagram. An unauthenticated peer can upload an oversized datagram that writes memory beyond the received packet into the file and read it back by downloading the file, and the same datagram can suspend the server thread permanently. |
| Incorrect authorization in PDFium in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted PDF file. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Missing authorization in SiteIsolation in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Missing authorization in Accessibility in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| UI misrepresentation in Extensions in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to spoof UI elements via a crafted Chrome extension. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tipc: protect node reset trace dump with node lock
The tipc_node_reset_links trace event asks tipc_node_dump() to walk the
node's link entries. Unlike the other node events that request link data,
this event runs without the node lock.
This permits bearer teardown to free a link while the trace callback is
dumping it:
CPU 0 CPU 1
trace_tipc_node_reset_links()
tipc_node_dump()
l = n->links[0].link
tipc_node_write_lock()
kfree(l)
n->links[0].link = NULL
tipc_node_write_unlock()
tipc_link_dump(l)
tipc_link_dump() then dereferences the stale pointer. KASAN reported:
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in tipc_link_dump

Take the node write lock around the trace event. This serializes the
dump against tipc_node_link_down(delete=true), which frees the link
under the same write lock. |
| WordPress Core is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in versions 4.7 through 7.1.3. This is due to predictable, web-accessible staging paths used during full-package core upgrades. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server during the upgrade window. |
| Multiple unbounded alloca() calls in the PulseAudio protocol server. |
| RAOP module accepts unbounded Content-Length values and does not check the pw_array_add() return. |
| Out of bounds write in Turbolev in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Use after free in PDF in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
