OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. From version 3.4.0 through 3.4.13, a crafted HTJ2K-compressed EXR can crash OpenEXR during normal decode. An HTJ2K-compressed EXR whose JPEG 2000 SIZ fields place the first tile outside the visible image can reach invalid tile and codeblock geometry in the vendored OpenJPH AVX2 decoder, causing a stack out-of-bounds write and denial of service. OpenEXR's HTJ2K path validates the decoded codestream dimensions against the EXR chunk size, but it does not reject SIZ image-offset/tile-grid geometry where the first tile does not intersect the image. This issue is fixed in version 3.4.14.
The web-based management interface uses a modified uhttpd server with CGI shell scripts. The HTTP Basic Authentication username, taken directly from the Authorization header without sanitization, is inserted into a shell command string executed via the system() function. By submitting a specially crafted username containing shell metacharacters, an unauthenticated attacker with network access to the device can escape the command context and execute arbitrary commands with root privileges.
Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to 2.5.2, the TinaCMS CLI package's Vite dev server packages/@tinacms/cli/src/next/vite/cors.ts origin callback returns false for a disallowed origin but does not reject the request, and packages/@tinacms/cli/src/next/vite/plugins.ts still routes POST /media/upload/* to mediaRouter.handlePost. The upload code in packages/@tinacms/cli/src/next/commands/dev-command/server/media.ts writes attacker-controlled multipart contents inside the configured media root. A remote attacker can cause a developer's browser to submit this state-changing request by inducing the developer to visit an attacker-controlled page while tinacms dev is running. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.2.
Microsoft UFO open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms. Prior to 3.0.8, ufo/client/mcp/http_servers/linux_mcp_server.py binds a FastMCP streamable HTTP server to localhost:8010 but does not validate the Host, Origin, or Sec-Fetch-Site headers. An attacker-controlled web page can use DNS rebinding to reach the local /mcp endpoint, enumerate tool schemas through tools/list, and invoke execute_command with a valid UFO_MCP_API_KEY to read files or execute allowed operating system commands as the victim's user. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.8.
LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. From 10.26.0 until 10.27.1, the strip_html filter in src/filters/html.ts can enter an infinite loop when an input string contains <, includes at least one preceding character, and has no later >. In strip_html, the search for the next opener advances lt while the loop index remains unchanged when the closer search returns -1, and the equality-only stall guard does not exit because the loop index is less than lt. Reprocessing the same state indefinitely blocks template rendering and can cause denial of service with an input as short as a<. This issue is fixed in version 10.27.1.
Crater Invoice through 6.0.6 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the self-update API that allows authenticated company owners to write arbitrary files outside the intended extraction directory by supplying crafted ZIP archives with ../ sequences to the unzip endpoint. Attackers can exploit unsanitized ZIP entry names passed to PHP's ZipArchive::extractTo() to write arbitrary PHP files into the web-accessible public directory and achieve remote code execution on the server.
WebOb provides objects for HTTP requests and responses. Prior to 1.8.11, Response._make_location_absolute() in src/webob/response.py checks a Location value for a URI scheme or leading double slash before urllib.parse.urljoin() strips leading C0 control characters and spaces. An attacker-controlled value such as a space followed by a protocol-relative or absolute URL can therefore bypass SCHEME_RE and startswith("//") checks and be normalized to an off-host redirect. Request.relative_url() and webob.exc._HTTPMove subclasses, including HTTPFound, are also affected because they use the same unsafe URL joining behavior or bypass the earlier normalization path. An unauthenticated attacker who can influence an application's redirect target can send users to an attacker-controlled host for phishing or OAuth and SSO token theft, but exploitation requires the user to follow the redirect. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.11.
Koel is a free, open-source music streaming solution. Prior to 9.7.1, App\Helpers\Network::isPublicHost() uses filter_var() with FILTER_FLAG_NO_PRIV_RANGE and FILTER_FLAG_NO_RES_RANGE, which treats NAT64 64:ff9b::/96 and 6to4 2002::/16 wrappers of private, loopback, or link-local IPv4 addresses as public. An authenticated user can place such an address in a podcast RSS <enclosure url> and reach app/Values/Podcast/EpisodePlayable.php through EpisodePlayable::createForEpisode(), where isSafeUrl() accepts the target and Http::sink($file)->get($url) fetches it. On a host with NAT64 or 6to4 routing, Koel can request internal services or cloud metadata and return the response body to the user. This issue is fixed in version 9.7.1
| Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') vulnerability in Johnson Controls Metasys 14 and Johnson Controls Metasys 15 allows Cross Site Scripting.
This issue affects Metasys 14: before 14.1.5; Metasys 15: before 15.0.1. |
Subscriber PHP Object Injection in ACPT (Pro) - Custom Post Types Plugin for WordPress <= 2.0.63 versions.
A Use of Default Password vulnerability affecting Tuleap Enterprise Edition from 17.0 through 17.5 could allow an attacker to gain access to user accounts created during XML import.
The Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Radio Field (Save and Continue Draft) in all versions up to, and including, 1.57.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable because the Save-and-Continue draft submission AJAX endpoint is registered as nopriv, allowing unauthenticated attackers to bypass radio field option-membership validation and persist a crafted payload that, when rendered on the Submissions admin page, is auto-executed via the bundled Inputmask library's data-attribute callback binding.
