CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
rxrpc: Fix bug due to prealloc collision
When userspace is using AF_RXRPC to provide a server, it has to preallocate
incoming calls and assign to them call IDs that will be used to thread
related recvmsg() and sendmsg() together. The preallocated call IDs will
automatically be attached to calls as they come in until the pool is empty.
To the kernel, the call IDs are just arbitrary numbers, but userspace can
use the call ID to hold a pointer to prepared structs. In any case, the
user isn't permitted to create two calls with the same call ID (call IDs
become available again when the call ends) and EBADSLT should result from
sendmsg() if an attempt is made to preallocate a call with an in-use call
ID.
However, the cleanup in the error handling will trigger both assertions in
rxrpc_cleanup_call() because the call isn't marked complete and isn't
marked as having been released.
Fix this by setting the call state in rxrpc_service_prealloc_one() and then
marking it as being released before calling the cleanup function. |

As a result, any pre-existing sessions (including those potentially controlled by an attacker) remained valid after a credential update. This insufficient session expiration could allow continued unauthorized access to user data and actions even after a password change. |

Remove WARN_ON() from check if VSI is null in ice_reset_vf.
Add "VF is already removed\n" in dev_dbg().
This WARN_ON() is unnecessary and causes call trace, despite that
call trace, driver still works. There is no need for this warn
because this piece of code is responsible for disabling VF's Tx/Rx
queues when VF is disabled, but when VF is already removed there
is no need to do reset or disable queues. |

drm/nouveau: Fix WARN_ON in nouveau_fence_context_kill()
Nouveau is mostly designed in a way that it's expected that fences only
ever get signaled through nouveau_fence_signal(). However, in at least
one other place, nouveau_fence_done(), can signal fences, too. If that
happens (race) a signaled fence remains in the pending list for a while,
until it gets removed by nouveau_fence_update().
Should nouveau_fence_context_kill() run in the meantime, this would be
a bug because the function would attempt to set an error code on an
already signaled fence.
Have nouveau_fence_context_kill() check for a fence being signaled. |
| Youki is a container runtime written in Rust. In versions 0.5.6 and below, the initial validation of the source /dev/null is insufficient, allowing container escape when youki utilizes bind mounting the container's /dev/null as a file mask. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.7. |
| Youki is a container runtime written in Rust. In versions 0.5.6 and below, youki’s apparmor handling performs insufficiently strict write-target validation, and when combined with path substitution during pathname resolution, can allow writes to unintended procfs locations. While resolving a path component-by-component, a shared-mount race can substitute intermediate components and redirect the final target. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.7. |
| Youki is a container runtime written in Rust. Prior to version 0.5.5, if /proc and /sys in the rootfs are symbolic links, they can potentially be exploited to gain access to the host root filesystem. This issue has been patched in version 0.5.5. |

Since pmd_user_accessible_page() doesn't check if a pmd is leaf, it
decrease file_map_count for a non-leaf pmd comes from collapse_huge_page().
and so trigger BUG_ON() unexpectedly.
Fix this problem by using pmd_leaf() insteal of pmd_present() in

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net_sched: skbprio: Remove overly strict queue assertions
In the current implementation, skbprio enqueue/dequeue contains an assertion
that fails under certain conditions when SKBPRIO is used as a child qdisc under
TBF with specific parameters. The failure occurs because TBF sometimes peeks at
packets in the child qdisc without actually dequeuing them when tokens are
unavailable.
This peek operation creates a discrepancy between the parent and child qdisc
queue length counters. When TBF later receives a high-priority packet,
SKBPRIO's queue length may show a different value than what's reflected in its
internal priority queue tracking, triggering the assertion.
The fix removes this overly strict assertions in SKBPRIO, they are not
necessary at all. |
