CVE-2022-50617 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/powerplay/psm: Fix memory leak in power state init Commit 902bc65de0b3 ("drm/amdgpu/powerplay/psm: return an error in power state init") made the power state init function return early in case of failure to get an entry from the powerplay table, but it missed to clean up the allocated memory for the current power state before returning.
CVE-2023-53728 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: posix-timers: Ensure timer ID search-loop limit is valid posix_timer_add() tries to allocate a posix timer ID by starting from the cached ID which was stored by the last successful allocation. This is done in a loop searching the ID space for a free slot one by one. The loop has to terminate when the search wrapped around to the starting point. But that's racy vs. establishing the starting point. That is read out lockless, which leads to the following problem: CPU0 CPU1 posix_timer_add() start = sig->posix_timer_id; lock(hash_lock); ... posix_timer_add() if (++sig->posix_timer_id < 0) start = sig->posix_timer_id; sig->posix_timer_id = 0; So CPU1 can observe a negative start value, i.e. -1, and the loop break never happens because the condition can never be true: if (sig->posix_timer_id == start) break; While this is unlikely to ever turn into an endless loop as the ID space is huge (INT_MAX), the racy read of the start value caught the attention of KCSAN and Dmitry unearthed that incorrectness. Rewrite it so that all id operations are under the hash lock.

CVE-2022-50627 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: fix monitor mode bringup crash When the interface is brought up in monitor mode, it leads to NULL pointer dereference crash. This crash happens when the packet type is extracted for a SKB. This extraction which is present in the received msdu delivery path,is not needed for the monitor ring packets since they are all RAW packets. Hence appending the flags with "RX_FLAG_ONLY_MONITOR" to skip that extraction. CVE-2025-40348 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: slab: Avoid race on slab->obj_exts in alloc_slab_obj_exts If two competing threads enter alloc_slab_obj_exts() and one of them fails to allocate the object extension vector, it might override the valid slab->obj_exts allocated by the other thread with OBJEXTS_ALLOC_FAIL. This will cause the thread that lost this race and expects a valid pointer to dereference a NULL pointer later on. Update slab->obj_exts atomically using cmpxchg() to avoid slab->obj_exts overrides by racing threads. Thanks for Vlastimil and Suren's help with debugging.

CVE-2025-40106 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: comedi: fix divide-by-zero in comedi_buf_munge() The comedi_buf_munge() function performs a modulo operation `async->munge_chan %= async->cmd.chanlist_len` without first checking if chanlist_len is zero. If a user program submits a command with chanlist_len set to zero, this causes a divide-by-zero error when the device processes data in the interrupt handler path. Add a check for zero chanlist_len at the beginning of the function, similar to the existing checks for !map and CMDF_RAWDATA flag. When chanlist_len is zero, update munge_count and return early, indicating the data was handled without munging. This prevents potential kernel panics from malformed user commands.

CVE-2025-40227 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/sysfs: dealloc commit test ctx always The damon_ctx for testing online DAMON parameters commit inputs is deallocated only when the test fails. This means memory is leaked for every successful online DAMON parameters commit. Fix the leak by always deallocating it.
CVE-2025-40229 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/core: fix potential memory leak by cleaning ops_filter in damon_destroy_scheme Currently, damon_destroy_scheme() only cleans up the filter list but leaves ops_filter untouched, which could lead to memory leaks when a scheme is destroyed. This patch ensures both filter and ops_filter are properly freed in damon_destroy_scheme(), preventing potential memory leaks.
CVE-2025-40267 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/rw: ensure allocated iovec gets cleared for early failure A previous commit reused the recyling infrastructure for early cleanup, but this is not enough for the case where our internal caches have overflowed. If this happens, then the allocated iovec can get leaked if the request is also aborted early. Reinstate the previous forced free of the iovec for that situation.
CVE-2025-40019 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: essiv - Check ssize for decryption and in-place encryption Move the ssize check to the start in essiv_aead_crypt so that it's also checked for decryption and in-place encryption.
CVE-2025-40321 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: fix crash while sending Action Frames in standalone AP Mode Currently, whenever there is a need to transmit an Action frame, the brcmfmac driver always uses the P2P vif to send the "actframe" IOVAR to firmware. The P2P interfaces were available when wpa_supplicant is managing the wlan interface. However, the P2P interfaces are not created/initialized when only hostapd is managing the wlan interface. And if hostapd receives an ANQP Query REQ Action frame even from an un-associated STA, the brcmfmac driver tries to use an uninitialized P2P vif pointer for sending the IOVAR to firmware. This NULL pointer dereferencing triggers a driver crash. [ 1417.074538] Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000000 [...] [ 1417.075188] Hardware name: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.5 (DT) [...] [ 1417.075653] Call trace: [ 1417.075662] brcmf_p2p_send_action_frame+0x23c/0xc58 [brcmfmac] [ 1417.075738] brcmf_cfg80211_mgmt_tx+0x304/0x5c0 [brcmfmac] [ 1417.075810] cfg80211_mlme_mgmt_tx+0x1b0/0x428 [cfg80211] [ 1417.076067] nl80211_tx_mgmt+0x238/0x388 [cfg80211] [ 1417.076281] genl_family_rcv_msg_doit+0xe0/0x158 [ 1417.076302] genl_rcv_msg+0x220/0x2a0 [ 1417.076317] netlink_rcv_skb+0x68/0x140 [ 1417.076330] genl_rcv+0x40/0x60 [ 1417.076343] netlink_unicast+0x330/0x3b8 [ 1417.076357] netlink_sendmsg+0x19c/0x3f8 [ 1417.076370] __sock_sendmsg+0x64/0xc0 [ 1417.076391] ____sys_sendmsg+0x268/0x2a0 [ 1417.076408] ___sys_sendmsg+0xb8/0x118 [ 1417.076427] __sys_sendmsg+0x90/0xf8 [ 1417.076445] __arm64_sys_sendmsg+0x2c/0x40 [ 1417.076465] invoke_syscall+0x50/0x120 [ 1417.076486] el0_svc_common.constprop.0+0x48/0xf0 [ 1417.076506] do_el0_svc+0x24/0x38 [ 1417.076525] el0_svc+0x30/0x100 [ 1417.076548] el0t_64_sync_handler+0x100/0x130 [ 1417.076569] el0t_64_sync+0x190/0x198 [ 1417.076589] Code: f9401e80 aa1603e2 f9403be1 5280e483 (f9400000) Fix this, by always using the vif corresponding to the wdev on which the Action frame Transmission request was initiated by the userspace. This way, even if P2P vif is not available, the IOVAR is sent to firmware on AP vif and the ANQP Query RESP Action frame is transmitted without crashing the driver. Move init_completion() for "send_af_done" from brcmf_p2p_create_p2pdev() to brcmf_p2p_attach(). Because the former function would not get executed when only hostapd is managing wlan interface, and it is not safe to do reinit_completion() later in brcmf_p2p_tx_action_frame(), without any prior init_completion(). And in the brcmf_p2p_tx_action_frame() function, the condition check for P2P Presence response frame is not needed, since the wpa_supplicant is properly sending the P2P Presense Response frame on the P2P-GO vif instead of the P2P-Device vif.
