CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in dracut. The die() error-handling function writes its message into a shell script under the initramfs emergency-hook directory without properly shell-quoting it. When the message contains data derived from the DHCP ROOT_PATH option, an attacker on the adjacent network who controls a rogue DHCP server can inject a command-substitution sequence that executes as root the next time dracut sources its emergency hook scripts during standard boot-failure handling. |
| Omni C20 lacks proper certificate validation which could allow an attacker to perform a man-in-the-middle attack which could allow them to execute arbitrary code. |
| Mythic 3.2.16 through 3.4.0.61 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers controlling target endpoint files to run JavaScript in the Mythic UI origin by planting HTML in .pdf-named files. When an operator downloads the file and clicks Preview Media, content-sniffed HTML from /direct/view renders same-origin, stealing localStorage JWTs for full GraphQL and REST access. |
| Axigen Mail Server WebMail before 10.6.39 and 10.7.1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to inject script via unescaped sender display names in the conversation view. Attackers can send an email with HTML and script in the From display name that executes when the recipient opens the folder, enabling mailbox content theft or redirection. |
| sniproxy through 0.7.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in resolv_cancel() that allows remote unauthenticated attackers to crash the daemon by sending overlong hostnames. Attackers can send a 254 or 255 character TLS SNI name or HTTP Host header matching a wildcard backend, then close the connection to terminate the proxy. |
| Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in WPExperts APIExperts Square for WooCommerce woosquare allows Cross Site Request Forgery. This issue affects APIExperts Square for WooCommerce: from n/a through 4.7.5. |
| pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python. Prior to 0.6.5, binary REAL decoding builds a large mantissa one octet at a time by shifting a growing integer and slicing the remaining byte string. Attacker-controlled ASN.1 includes a binary-encoded REAL with a large mantissa and reaches BER, CER, or DER decode(), with or without a schema containing REAL. RealPayloadDecoder.valueDecoder repeatedly performs a left shift, OR, and suffix copy for every mantissa octet, making decode time quadratic in mantissa length. A comparatively small REAL value can hold a decoding worker on one CPU core for seconds or longer and cause availability loss. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.5. |
| MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, the MariaDbPoolConnection.recover() and MariaDbPoolPinnedConnection.recover() implementations trusted the gtrid_length and bqual_length columns returned by XA RECOVER. The methods allocated and split Xid byte arrays without validating the lengths against Xid.MAXGTRIDSIZE, Xid.MAXBQUALSIZE, or the actual data payload. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could cause large allocations, NegativeArraySizeException, or ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException during XA recovery. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.21.4, pypdf can enter an infinite loop while opening a crafted incomplete PDF whose standard cross-reference table reaches the end of the file without a trailer. The trailer search can repeatedly rewind to the same stream position instead of terminating when parsing makes no progress, blocking the processing thread. This issue is fixed in version 6.21.4. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.21.3, pypdf can consume excessive memory when strict mode loads a crafted invalid PDF dictionary. Nested parsing failures add repeated exception text to newly raised errors, allowing a small malformed dictionary to amplify into very large error messages. This issue is fixed in version 6.21.3. |
| MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, when CLIENT_SESSION_TRACK was negotiated, the OkPacket.parse() and OkPacket.parseWithInfo() paths allocated byte arrays using server-declared lengths for the OK packet info field and session-state variable names and values before confirming that the bytes remained in the packet. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could send a small OK packet declaring a much larger length and repeatedly force attacker-controlled heap allocations before the subsequent copy failed. This could create garbage-collection pressure or an OutOfMemoryError in the client application. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11. |
| Insecure Temporary File vulnerability in Mix deps.partition in Elixir allows a local user to execute code as another user via a swapped partition config file. Partitioned dependency compilation passes the project configuration to each partition VM through a file in a fixed-name directory under the shared system temporary directory, and the partition trusts what it reads back. Another local user on the same host can exploit this during a mix deps.compile run that uses partitioned compilation.
Mix.Tasks.Deps.Partition.server/4 in lib/mix/lib/mix/tasks/deps.partition.ex creates the directory with File.mkdir_p/1, which accepts an existing directory without checking its owner, so a user who created it first can replace the file before client/0 reads it.
This issue affects mix: from 1.20.0-rc.4 before 1.20.5. |
| libcurl could accidentally return a URL for `curl_easy_getinfo()`'s
`CURLINFO_EFFECTIVE_URL` option containing credentials, even though neither
the URL provided to libcurl nor the redirected URL did. |
| When processing an HTTP redirect to a URL containing userinfo (a
`username:password` component), curl might erroneously retain and re-transmit
the original host's HTTP Negotiate authentication state. Consequently, a
malicious server can trigger a redirect containing arbitrary userinfo to force
curl to send a freshly minted Kerberos ticket—generated using the ambient
identity of the client process to an untrusted third-party host, effectively
bypassing the domain-scoping restrictions normally enforced by the absence of
`--location-trusted`. |
| Under certain conditions, privilege manager agent allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute
arbitrary code as LocalSystem. |
| A deeply nested multipart MIME structure constructed via the public API causes
a stack overflow in libcurl during normal cleanup operations. An excessive
recursion depth within `curl_mime_free` leads to unbounded stack frame
allocation during structure traversal, ultimately crashing the host process. |
| When invoked with `--remote-header-name` (`-J`), curl fails to preserve its
documented anti-clobbering protection if an intermediate 103 Early Hints
response precedes the final HTTP response, or if an `ETag` header is processed
before `Content-Disposition` under `--etag-save`. This flaw allows an HTTP(S)
server to overwrite an existing local file specified in the
`Content-Disposition` header despite the presence of the `-J` non-overwrite
constraint. |
| Incorrect implementation of authentication algorithm vulnerability in Apache Answer.
This issue affects Apache Answer: through 2.0.2.
A flaw in the User Center login integration can cause a newly created external user session to omit its external identity, allowing subsequent requests to bypass central account suspension or deletion checks until the session
expires or is revoked.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.3, which fixes the issue. |
| On a brpc::Server that sets both ServerOptions.auth and ServerOptions.internal_port, the HTTP built-in service exemption on internal_port can be abused to bypass authentication entirely. VerifyHttpRequest() returns true without checking any credential when a built-in service is requested on internal_port, and this verdict is not per - request: verification runs only for the first message of a connection and the result latches the connection. Sending a request such as GET /status to internal_port first authenticates the whole connection, after which every subsequent request dispatched on the same connection is handled without ever calling VerifyHttpRequest(). This lets a remote attacker reach ordinary (non-built-in, non-tabbed) authenticated services without supplying valid credentials whenever the server uses ServerOptions.internal_port together with an Authenticator. The fix restricts internal_port so that it carries only built-in and Tabbed services; requests for ordinary services sent to internal_port are rejected with EPREM / HTTP 403.
Mitigation / Fix: upgrade to 1.18.0 or apply PR https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3525 .
Users who rely on serving normal services on internal_port must move those requests to the port passed to Server::Start(). |
| Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.13.2, Part-DB allows authenticated API users to bypass the configured maximum attachment file size by uploading attachments through the API using base64-encoded file data. The application enforces the configured attachment size limit for normal browser-based file uploads, but the API base64 upload path does not apply the same size validation. As a result, an authenticated user with API access and permission to create attachments can upload files larger than the configured maximum attachment size, potentially exhausting disk space and causing a denial of service. This issue has been patched in version 2.13.2. |
