| OpenMcdf is a fully .NET / C# library to manipulate Compound File Binary File Format files, also known as Structured Storage. Prior to version 3.1.3, OpenMcdf does not detect cycles in the directory entry red-black tree of a Compound File Binary (CFB) document. A crafted CFB file with a cycle in the LeftSiblingID / RightSiblingID chain causes Storage.EnumerateEntries() and Storage.OpenStream() to loop indefinitely, consuming the calling thread with no possibility of recovery via try/catch. This issue has been patched in version 3.1.3. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: dvb-core: fix wrong reinitialization of ringbuffer on reopen
dvb_dvr_open() calls dvb_ringbuffer_init() when a new reader opens the
DVR device. dvb_ringbuffer_init() calls init_waitqueue_head(), which
reinitializes the waitqueue list head to empty.
Since dmxdev->dvr_buffer.queue is a shared waitqueue (all opens of the
same DVR device share it), this orphans any existing waitqueue entries
from io_uring poll or epoll, leaving them with stale prev/next pointers
while the list head is reset to {self, self}.
The waitqueue and spinlock in dvr_buffer are already properly
initialized once in dvb_dmxdev_init(). The open path only needs to
reset the buffer data pointer, size, and read/write positions.
Replace the dvb_ringbuffer_init() call in dvb_dvr_open() with direct
assignment of data/size and a call to dvb_ringbuffer_reset(), which
properly resets pread, pwrite, and error with correct memory ordering
without touching the waitqueue or spinlock. |

| MailEnable Enterprise Premium 10.55 and earlier contains an improper authorization vulnerability in the WebAdmin mobile portal that allows attackers to bypass authentication checks by reusing AuthenticationToken cookies generated for low-privileged users. Attackers can obtain a token from the WebMail login endpoint using the PersistentLogin parameter and replay it against the WebAdmin portal to perform highly privileged administrative actions. |
| The brace-expansion library generates arbitrary strings containing a common prefix and suffix. From 5.0.0 to before 5.0.6, the max option was being applied too late. When expanding a single large numeric range like {1..10000000}, the sequence generation loop generates all 10 million intermediate elements before the max limit is applied With max=10, the output is correctly limited to 10 items, but the process still allocates ~505 MB and spends ~800ms building the full intermediate array. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.0.6. |

Prior to commit da44801, a "Pwn Request" vulnerability in the Build and Publish PR Docker Image workflow (.github/workflows/pr-docker-build.yml) allows any unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary code during the Docker build process and exfiltrate a highly privileged GITHUB_TOKEN (write-all permissions). This can be achieved simply by opening a Pull Request from a fork with a maliciously modified Dockerfile.dev. This issue has been patched via commit da44801. |
