CVSS v3.1 |
adm-zip is a JavaScript library for creating and extracting ZIP archives in Node.js. Prior to 0.6.1, adm-zip applies the Unix permission bits stored in a zip entry directly to the extracted file via `fs.chmodSync()` when `keepOriginalPermission=true` is passed to `extractAllTo()`/`extractEntryTo()` — and it never filters the setuid/setgid/sticky bits out of those bits. A zip crafted by an attacker can therefore produce an extracted binary with mode `04755`. When extraction runs as root (the default posture in Docker builds, CI runners, and privileged install steps — the exact environments where this flag is used), the resulting root-owned setuid file is executed later by a lesser-privileged user, turning the attacker's code into a root execution. Version 0.6.1 fixes the issue.
Site isolation issue in the DOM: Networking component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 153.4, and Firefox 157.
Sandbox escape due to use-after-free in the Widget: Gtk component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 140.17, Thunderbird 153.4, Firefox 157, and Firefox ESR 140.17.
Spoofing issue in the Downloads component in Firefox for Android. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 157.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. From 0.13 until 1.4.0, InstanceAdminSignUpEndpoint in apps/api/plane/license/api/views/admin.py:89-117, 173-229 uses InstanceAdmin.objects.first() for the first-admin check and performs account creation without an atomic transaction, row lock, uniqueness guard, or advisory lock. Two concurrent unauthenticated requests with different email addresses can both observe that no instance administrator exists, create separate User and InstanceAdmin rows, and receive sessions with instance-admin authority. This allows an attacker to share unrestricted instance administration with the legitimate operator. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, the cycle-issues endpoint accepts issue UUIDs in the request body without validating that they belong to the caller's workspace. An authenticated user can add issues from any workspace to a cycle they control. If a victim issue is already assigned to a cycle, the operation removes it from the victim's cycle, causing a destructive cross-tenant write. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, GET /api/workspaces/{slug}/entity-search/?query_type=user_mention returns workspace-member display names, UUIDs, and avatar URLs to any authenticated user who knows the workspace slug, even when the caller is not a workspace member. The endpoint also exposes ProjectMember rows under the same condition. SearchEndpoint in apps/api/plane/app/views/search/base.py inherits BaseAPIView with only permission_classes = [IsAuthenticated] and performs no workspace-membership check. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, BulkDeleteIssuesEndpoint and SubIssuesEndpoint in apps/api/plane/app/views/issue/ accept body- or URL-supplied issue IDs and operate on them without checking that the IDs belong to the caller's workspace and project. The permission decorator on each endpoint validates only that the caller is a member or administrator of the workspace and project named in the URL. BulkDeleteIssuesEndpoint can destroy CycleIssue and ModuleIssue associations belonging to foreign issues. SubIssuesEndpoint can re-parent foreign issues under an attacker-selected issue and return the foreign issues' metadata. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, two endpoint families fail to verify that nested resource identifiers belong to the workspace and project named in the URL. An authenticated user can read or modify estimates from another workspace through PATCH /api/workspaces/{slug}/projects/{project_id}/estimates/{estimate_id}/, and can inject comments into an issue from another workspace through POST /api/workspaces/{slug}/projects/{project_id}/issues/{issue_id}/comments/. ProjectEntityPermission verifies membership in the workspace and project from the URL, but estimate_id and issue_id are fetched by primary key without confirming the same scope. The list, retrieve, and destroy handlers correctly scope their queries, demonstrating the inconsistency. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
Velociraptor's WatchEvent gRPC API can specify the OrgId of the org from which events should be streamed. The server checks the API permissions against the caller's Org instead of the requested Org. This allows a user with API access in one org to read events from another org for which they have no access.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, the issue-relation endpoint accepts issue UUIDs in the request body without validating that they belong to the caller's workspace. An authenticated user can create relations linking their own issues to issues in any other workspace on the instance, leaking issue metadata through activity events. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, Plane's project update endpoint authorizes the caller against the workspace slug in the request URL but loads the target project globally by UUID without binding it to that workspace. An administrator of one workspace can modify a project in another workspace when the victim project UUID is known. This violates tenant isolation and permits unauthorized cross-workspace changes to project metadata and configuration. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, GET /api/workspaces/{slug}/cycles/ through WorkspaceCyclesEndpoint and GET /api/workspaces/{slug}/modules/ through WorkspaceModulesEndpoint return records from every project in a workspace without checking whether the requester belongs to each project. Any authenticated workspace member, including a Guest with access to only one project, can enumerate names, descriptions, sprint dates, issue counts, progress snapshots, external integration IDs, linked URLs, and member lists for cycles and modules in private projects. The sibling WorkspaceLabelsEndpoint and WorkspaceStatesEndpoint apply the correct project__project_projectmember__member=request.user filter, making the cycle and module endpoints inconsistent outliers. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, GET /api/v1/workspaces/{slug}/projects/{project_id}/members/ returns the complete project-member roster, including each member's email address, first and last name, display name, avatar, and role. ProjectMemberPermission gates the endpoint, but its SAFE_METHODS branch checks only whether the caller is an active ProjectMember of any project in the workspace and does not bind the check to view.project_id. The view then filters solely by the project_id supplied in the URL. Consequently, any authenticated user who belongs to one project in a workspace, including a Guest, can read the roster of another private project in the same workspace. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, WorkspaceOwnerPermission does not require is_active=True when checking whether a user is a workspace owner. A deactivated user can therefore remain authorized as the workspace owner and retain owner-level access. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
A flaw was found in RESTEasy's CorsFilter, which, when configured to allow all origins ("*"), reflects the request's Origin header back in the Access-Control-Allow-Origin response together with Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true. This permissive cross-origin policy allows a malicious website to make credentialed cross-origin requests and read authenticated responses from a victim's session, resulting in a loss of confidentiality.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, Plane exposes the workspace-scoped GET /api/assets/v2/workspaces/{workspace_slug}/download/{asset_id}/ endpoint for project-bound FileAsset objects without enforcing access to the asset's owning project. An authenticated user who belongs to the same workspace, is not a member of the victim's secret project, and knows the target asset UUID can receive a 302 redirect to a signed download URL. The intended project-scoped route for the same asset correctly returns 403. Confirmed affected project-bound asset types are ISSUE_ATTACHMENT, COMMENT_DESCRIPTION, PAGE_DESCRIPTION, and PROJECT_COVER. This bypass exposes private file content protected by the secret project boundary. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, the unauthenticated public issues endpoint accepts group_by and sub_group_by query parameters and passes them without an allowlist to grouped paginators, where they are used as ORM field names by F(field), .values(field), .order_by(field), and Window partition_by operations. An anonymous attacker can supply arbitrary field paths that trigger an unhandled FieldError or KeyError and an HTTP 500 response, or force the ORM to resolve __-separated relational paths as a blind traversal oracle. This is the same field-name injection class addressed by earlier order_by sanitization, but that remediation left group_by and sub_group_by unvalidated. The issue does not directly disclose column values because issue_group_values() returns an empty list for unknown fields, the result projection uses a fixed required_fields list, and the subgrouped path raises KeyError before serialization. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
A flaw has been found in onetwothreeneth HospitalManagementSystem up to 9ef91ed6007314b6473110ed699dff76d158f61d. This affects the function update_subaccount of the file php/controller.php of the component Account Administration. This manipulation of the argument user_id causes improper authorization. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been published and may be used. This product follows a rolling release approach for continuous delivery, so version details for affected or updated releases are not provided. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, a Project Member with role 15 can send a PATCH request to the project-member update endpoint at /api/workspaces/{workspace_slug}/projects/{project_id}/members/{member_pk}/ to change another user's project role. The role-update logic blocks only a new role higher than the requester's role, so assigning the equal Member role bypasses the insufficient validation and promotes a Project Guest with role 5 to Member without Project Admin approval. This unauthorized promotion grants the guest the additional project capabilities associated with the Member role and allows a regular member to bypass project governance controls. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
