CVSS v3.1 |
Wazuh from 4.1.1 before 4.14.8 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the delete_rule_file and delete_decoder_file helpers that allows malicious cluster workers to delete arbitrary files via an unvalidated filename parameter. Attackers holding the cluster key can invoke these helpers through DistributedAPI with traversal sequences to delete ossec.conf, client.keys, or rules as the wazuh user.
Zod schema-validation library through 4.6.5, fixed in commit e06a510, contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability that allows attackers to exhaust memory by submitting a large array to an application using an array schema without a length constraint. Attackers can exploit the handleArrayResult parse logic in $ZodArray, which accumulates every validation issue for each failing element with no cap or early termination, causing the process to allocate excessive issue objects and crash due to out-of-memory conditions.
Spoofing issue in the Networking: HTTP component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 153.4, and Firefox 157.
Privilege escalation in the Places component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 153.4, and Firefox 157.
Use-after-free in the JavaScript Engine: JIT component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 153.4, and Firefox 157.
Denial-of-service in the Storage: StorageManager component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 153.4, and Firefox 157.
Malcolm's upload-processing pipeline (scripts/safe-extract.py) enforces entry-count, nesting-depth, and total-uncompressed-byte limits when extracting container archives (zip/tar/rar/7z via libarchive), but those limits are not applied when the uploaded file is a single-stream compressed format (.gz, .bz2, .xz, .lzma, .lz) that isn't a .tar.*-style archive. Any authenticated user permitted to upload PCAP/log files can upload a small, highly compressible file (e.g. a gzip bomb) that decompresses to an effectively unbounded size on disk, exhausting the shared Docker volume used by OpenSearch, Logstash, Arkime, and Zeek, and disrupting the platform for all users.
A vulnerability was detected in KusalkaSilva Learning-Management-System up to ffeb873f8803f1e9664384ff75000c7da45466d2. This impacts the function mysql_query of the file remove_announcements.php of the component State-Changing Endpoints. Performing a manipulation of the argument ID results in missing authentication. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. This product uses a rolling release model to deliver continuous updates. As a result, specific version information for affected or updated releases is not available. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
OpenList is a file list program that supports multiple storage backends. Prior to 4.2.4, the OpenList search API uses a non-separator-aware strings.HasPrefix comparison as a path containment authorization check when authorizing globally indexed Bleve results against a restricted user's BasePath. When Bleve search is enabled and a restricted authenticated user searches the global index for content in a sibling path, the user causes a globally indexed sibling-path result to pass the prefix check. The strings.HasPrefix(node.Parent, user.BasePath) predicate allows a sibling path such as /base2 to be treated as contained by /base. Unauthorized file metadata or file-existence information can be disclosed, and the backend Total value can reveal a match even when another access check removes the individual result. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.4.
Jexactyl is a customisable game management panel and billing system. From 4.0.0 until 4.0.5, the POST /api/client/billing/free/process endpoint accepts a client-controlled server_id and loads the server without restricting the lookup to servers owned by the authenticated account. On installations with billing enabled, an authenticated user can renew or unsuspend another tenant's billable server when its renewal_date is non-null and more than seven days away, even without a subuser relationship to that server. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.5.
PHPCSUtils is a suite of utility functions for use with PHP_CodeSniffer. From 1.0.0-alpha1 until 1.2.3, PHPCSUtils\AbstractSniffs\AbstractArrayDeclarationSniff::getActualArrayKey() evaluates attacker-controlled array-key expressions with eval(), allowing callback-form keys in untrusted PHP code scanned by an extending sniff to execute arbitrary commands on the scanning host. Known reachable paths include Universal.Arrays.DuplicateArrayKey and Universal.Arrays.MixedArrayKeyTypes. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.3.
Parse Server before 8.6.93 and 9.0.0 before 9.10.1-alpha.13 does not enforce identity-scoped protectedFields (authenticated, role, or per-user groups) on count queries using the $relatedTo operator, exposing the size of protected Relation fields. An authenticated user who can read the owning object can combine counts with an objectId constraint as a membership oracle to reveal confidential memberships such as private groups or block lists.
AnyDesk before 8.0.3 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a heap-based buffer overflow, as demonstrated on Linux for command execution as root without the victim approving desktop control. In the stream packet handler for mode 5 in the session protocol, a payload length value is not validated.
Wazuh from 4.3.0 before 4.14.8 contains a remote code execution vulnerability where SCA policy trust is determined by file path rather than configuration source. Attackers controlling a manager can write unsigned policy files to var/incoming via the upgrade channel and reference them to execute command checks as root on agents.
Wazuh from 4.0.0 before 4.14.8 contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows low-privileged users with agent:read to retrieve the plaintext authd.pass enrollment password via the unmasked agent configuration endpoint. Attackers holding the default readonly role can request the auth component configuration for pseudo-agent ID 000 to obtain the secret and enroll rogue agents against the manager.
In HAProxy Data Plane API 2.2.0 through 3.4.3 (and corresponding Enterprise Edition releases), Server.ConfigureAPI() has process-global authentication logic that improperly drops security controls across multiple transport types. When a TLS Certificate Authority (tls_ca) is configured and a numeric TLS port (tls_port) is specified, the application globally disables Basic authentication on its shared internal request handler. Because this handler is shared concurrently among HTTP, HTTPS, and UNIX domain socket listeners, and mutual TLS (mTLS) client certificate verification (tls.RequireAndVerifyClientCert) is enforced exclusively on the HTTPS server path, all other simultaneously active non-mTLS listeners fail open. Consequently, an unauthenticated attacker capable of reaching an affected HTTP or UNIX management endpoint can completely bypass credentials to gain full API administrative access. This allows unauthorized remote or local actors to read sensitive, cleartext HAProxy configuration data or replace the managed configuration entirely via the raw configuration endpoint. This has been fixed in versions 3.4.4, 3.3.9, 3.2.17, 3.0.25, 2.9.29, and their respective EE backports by migrating to a per-request TLS connection-state validation model.
When processing issue and comment bodies, Gitea scanned the entire preceding text for action keywords such as "closes" or "fixes" once per Markdown link, giving processing time quadratic in the input size. An authenticated user able to submit issue or comment content could send a crafted body of about 1 MB that keeps a CPU core busy for several minutes while holding a database transaction open.
When Gitea's web installer is reachable against a database that already contains users, such as after `INSTALL_LOCK` has been reset to `false`, submitting the install form with an administrator username matching an existing account issued an authenticated session for that account without verifying its password. If the account is an administrator, the session grants full administrative access, including changing the account's password. Databases with a single user also did not require the reinstall confirmation.
A flaw was found in SSSD. A local user can trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by exploiting a race condition in the autofs responder between asynchronous enumeration completion and map invalidation. By repeatedly sending concurrent map enumeration and invalidation requests, an attacker can cause memory to leak, leading to excessive memory consumption that can disrupt or crash the autofs service.
A flaw was found in SSSD (System Security Services Daemon). When Identity Provider (IdP) authentication is enabled, pre-authentication requests retain state in memory without being cleared or timed out. A local attacker can repeatedly initiate authentication flows without completing them, causing unbounded memory consumption. This memory exhaustion can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) by degrading or terminating SSSD authentication services.
