CVSS v3.1 |
| QuickJS-NG before 0.16.0 contains a memory leak vulnerability in js_atomics_store() in quickjs.c that fails to free the converted value when returning a RangeError. Attackers running JavaScript can repeatedly call Atomics.store with a valueOf that detaches or shrinks the buffer to exhaust heap memory and cause denial of service. |
| Furl versions through 3.15 for Perl allow memory exhaustion via unbounded decompression of HTTP responses.
Furl inflates a response body sent with a gzip, x-gzip or deflate Content-Encoding and appends the output to the response string with no size limit. It does this whether or not the request asked for compression, and no option caps the decompressed size. Responses read with write_file or write_code are streamed rather than held in memory.
A malicious server, or an attacker on a plain HTTP connection, can send a small compressed response that expands to exhaust the client's memory and end the process. |
| minimatch is a minimal matching utility for converting glob expressions into JavaScript RegExp objects. Starting in 7.0.0 and prior to 11.0.1, src/index.ts implements firstPhasePreProcess() so that, at optimizationLevel 2 or higher, it repeatedly expands attacker-controlled **/.. pattern segments inside a fixpoint loop, allowing generated globParts entries to be processed and expanded again. secondPhasePreProcess() then compares the expanded entries pairwise, so a short malicious glob can cause excessive CPU and memory consumption during pattern compilation. This issue is fixed in version 11.0.1. |
| Python-Markdown 3.0 through 3.11.2 contains an algorithmic complexity vulnerability in inline link parsing that allows remote attackers to exhaust CPU through unmatched brackets. Attackers can submit short Markdown containing repeated [ or ![ characters, forcing LinkInlineProcessor.getText() and getLink() into quadratic scans that keep workers busy for minutes. |
| IBM Concert 1.0.0 through 3.0.0 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service due to improper enforcement of storage limits. |
| OpenKruise kruise-manager exposes an unauthenticated pprof endpoint, enabled by default, opening it on 0.0.0.0:8090, which can enable a DoS attack triggerable by any pod on the cluster network. |
| @fastify/multipart is the multipart form-data and file upload plugin for the Fastify web framework. In versions 5.3.0 through 10.1.6, the plugin does not propagate a parser error to the file stream when a request body ends inside a file part with no closing boundary, even though the Content-Length is complete, the client does not abort, and no file size limit is exceeded. The plugin destroys the in-progress file stream without an error, so a handler that iterates the request parts and performs asynchronous work before consuming the file attaches to a stream that never emits an error or end event, and the request never responds while the connection stays open. An unauthenticated remote client can repeat these malformed uploads against such a route to accumulate pending connections and exhaust server resources, so the impact is availability only and exploitation depends on the application using a delayed file consumer. The issue is fixed in @fastify/multipart 10.1.7, where the parser error is propagated to the file stream so a delayed consumer settles with an error instead of hanging, and users should upgrade to 10.1.7 or later. There is no workaround other than upgrading. |

| Bitcoin Core prior to 29.5, 30.4, 31.2 and 32.1 is vulnerable to an OOM issue. |
| Improper Handling of Highly Compressed Data (Data Amplification) vulnerability in potatosalad jose (erlang-jose) allows a remote attacker to exhaust a node's memory with a small crafted JWE token.
The jose_jwe_zip:uncompress/2 function in src/jwe/jose_jwe_zip.erl decompresses the DEFLATE-compressed plaintext of a JWE that carries the optional zip: DEF header by calling zlib:inflate/2 on the entire attacker-controlled stream, with no bound on the output size or the inflation ratio. Raw DEFLATE reaches ratios around 1000:1 on highly repetitive input, so a few-kilobyte token inflates to hundreds of megabytes or gigabytes in a single call.
Decompression runs automatically during decryption through jose_jwe:block_decrypt/2 (JOSE.JWE.block_decrypt/2 in Elixir), before the recipient can inspect or reject the payload. With the common asymmetric key-management algorithms (RSA-OAEP, ECDH-ES) an attacker needs only the recipient's public key to craft such a token, so no authentication or secret material is required. A single small token can exhaust the node's memory and crash the BEAM, denying service to all users.
This issue affects jose: from 1.0.0 before 1.11.13. |
| RE2JS is the JavaScript port of RE2, a regular expression engine that provides linear time matching. From 2.2.0 until 2.8.7, enabling LOOKBEHINDS and using repeated matching through matcher().find(), matchAll(), split(), or matcher().replaceAll() can cause quadratic total work. Machine.match restarts lookbehind scanning from offset zero for each requested start position, while Matcher-based APIs request capture slots that prevent the early exit used for captureless matching. Dense matches therefore repeatedly rescan the input, allowing attacker-influenced text to monopolize a single-threaded worker and deny service. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.7. |
| A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in the Miracast over Infrastructure Connection Establishment (MICE) service. An unauthenticated attacker with network access to the MICE service could consume available connection capacity, preventing legitimate users from establishing MICE-based Miracast connections while the condition persists.
Miracast P2P is not affected. MICE is disabled in the default configuration and must be explicitly enabled by the customer. On most devices, Miracast P2P is available independently of MICE, but a complete disruption of Miracast can occur on some devices when WLAN is configured for Infrastructure mode. |
| A vulnerability was determined in a2ui-project a2ui up to 0.10.6. | Filecoin Pin is an IPFS Pinning Service API implementation that pins to Filecoin's PDP service. In daemon deployments up to and including version 1.1.0, `POST /pins` in `src/filecoin-pinning-server.ts` checks a caller-supplied CID with `CID.parse` and passes it to `pinStore.pin`, but does not enforce request rate limits or per-user quotas. In `src/filecoin-pin-store.ts`, each pin independently schedules `_processPinInBackground` with `setTimeout` without a queue, semaphore or concurrency cap, then recursively traverses the full DAG using `helia.pins.add(cid)`. The per-pin Helia/Bitswap node in `src/create-pinning-helia.ts` has no application-level byte, block or traversal-time limits. Blocks are written under `carStoragePath` by `src/core/car/car-blockstore-base.ts` and `src/core/car/car-file-backend.ts`, with `stats.totalSize` updated only after writing. An authenticated caller, or an anonymous caller when `ALLOW_NO_AUTH=true`, can submit large DAGs and exhaust disk, network, CPU, memory and libp2p resources, causing service degradation or host/process failure and leaving partial CAR files requiring recovery. The default localhost binding and token requirement reduce exposure. Because nodes have no bootstrap or mDNS configuration, a CID alone may not be fetchable, but caller-supplied `origins` can point to a reachable attacker-controlled libp2p source; concurrent requests accelerate resource pressure. Version 1.1.1 documents operational mitigations but does not implement the missing resource controls. |
