CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in postgres-exporter. Due to the blank import of `net/http/pprof`, debug endpoints are exposed on the unauthenticated metrics listener. A remote attacker within the cluster network can access these endpoints. This allows for information disclosure, potentially revealing process arguments, full goroutine stacks, and sensitive data like database connection strings or passwords from heap dumps. Additionally, repeated CPU profiling through these endpoints can lead to a denial of service. |
| A heap-based buffer overflow in H5VM_array_fill() in src/H5VM.c in HDF5 before 2.2.0 lets a remote attacker cause an application crash and possibly execute arbitrary code with a crafted HDF5 file. When a dataset's unallocated chunks are read, H5D__fill_init() fills the fill-value buffer from datatype and dataspace metadata in the file. If that metadata is inconsistent with the buffer's allocated size, the write goes past the end of the buffer. The attacker can control the content written through the fill value stored in the file. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. From 0.1.0 until 0.5.0, the @backstage/plugin-auth-backend-module-cloudflare-access-provider package is affected by insufficient audience validation in the cloudflare access auth provider. The Cloudflare Access auth provider verifies a token's signature and team issuer, but affected versions do not verify that the token was issued for the Backstage application. A user holding a valid token for another Access application in the same Cloudflare Zero Trust team may therefore be able to authenticate to Backstage if that token reaches the auth endpoint without the Backstage application's audience already being enforced upstream. Cloudflare Access normally evaluates the protected application before forwarding requests. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.0. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. From 0.5.0 until 0.6.18, the @backstage/plugin-proxy-backend package is affected by inconsistent credential enforcement for overlapping proxy routes. An operator can configure overlapping proxy paths with different credential requirements. When a parent path permits unauthenticated access and a nested path requires credentials, the parent exemption can also cover requests handled by the nested proxy. An unauthenticated caller may therefore reach the nested upstream through Backstage, including with static upstream credentials configured for that proxy. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.18. |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. From 9.2.0511 until 9.2.0844, json_decode_item() in src/json.c can retain a stale pointer after json_decode_string() invokes channel_fill() to refill and free the current buffer, causing the error path to read freed memory instead of reader->js_buf + reader->js_used when an invalid JSON string spans buffers. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0844. |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to 9.2.0846, set_sofo() in src/spellfile.c reuses sl_sal_first[] without resetting values left by set_sal_first(), so a crafted spell file containing an SN_SAL section before an SN_SOFO section causes under-counted mapping lists and attacker-influenced writes beyond a heap allocation. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0846. |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to 9.2.0841, prop_add_one() in src/textprop.c uses the proplen value from get_text_props() to increment a uint16_t property count beyond 0xffff, wrapping the count to zero and copying existing text-property records into a heap allocation sized for none of them. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0841. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. From 0.11.12 until 1.14.7 and 1.15.5, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by improper validation of mkdocs plugin configuration in techdocs. An authenticated attacker with control over a TechDocs source repository could cause a documentation build to retrieve and publish data from network locations reachable by the build environment. Exposure depends on deployment topology, build mode, and target endpoint protections. Modern cloud metadata services that require tokens or special headers are not directly accessible through the affected behavior. This issue is fixed in @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node versions 1.14.7 and 1.15.5. |
| Insertion of Sensitive Information Into Sent Data vulnerability in Automattic WordPress allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data.
This issue affects WordPress: from 7.1 through 7.1.2, from 7.0 through 7.0.6, from 6.9 through 6.9.9, from 6.8 through 6.8.10, from 6.7 through 6.7.9, and from 6.6 through 6.6.9. |
| A flaw was found in sssd. A local user can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting the responder service's available file descriptors (system handles used for open connections). By opening and maintaining many concurrent connections to a responder socket while continuing to queue new connection attempts, an attacker can trigger an unthrottled retry loop. This condition leads to high CPU utilization and stalls the service, preventing legitimate identity and authentication requests from being processed. |
| In platform_msg_handler_init of default_msg_handlers.c, there is a possible permission bypass due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| Authorization bypass through a user-controlled key in the optional Amazon Q Business Lambda hook sample ( q-business-lambda-hook https://github.com/aws-solutions-library-samples/qnabot-on-aws/blob/main/source/docs/lambda_hooks/README.md ), available with QnABot on AWS versions 7.0.0 through 7.4.5, might allow an authenticated remote user to read arbitrary Amazon S3 objects in the deploying AWS account. This sample solution provides an example Lambda hook and requires separate, manual deployment and additional setup. It is not deployed automatically with QnABot. Customers who have not deployed this optional sample hook are not affected and do not need to take action.
To remediate this issue, affected customers should update the QnABot on AWS stack to version 7.4.6 or later and then redeploy the Amazon Q Business Lambda hook sample stack. Updating the QnABot on AWS stack alone does not deliver the fix. |
| A missing authorization vulnerability in the wgagent management daemon's session initialization function allows an authenticated, low-privileged user (including a read-only or guest administrator account) to crash the wgagent process and read arbitrary files accessible to the daemon by submitting a specially crafted management API request. |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. From 9.2.0469 until 9.2.0843, popup_mark_opacity_zindex() in src/popupwin.c can use a negative w_winrow for a text-property-anchored popup with clipwindow and opacity, indexing before the screen array instead of accounting for w_popup_topoff and causing an out-of-bounds read and conditional write. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0843. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: virtio: reset device before deleting virtqueues
virtsnd_remove() and virtsnd_freeze() delete the virtqueues before
resetting the device. del_vqs() frees the vring backing, but does not
provide a generic device quiesce operation. In particular, modern
virtio-pci keeps enabled queues active until the device is reset.
Reset the device before deleting the virtqueues so it can no longer
access the vring memory when that memory is released. This also covers
probe failures after DRIVER_OK, which unwind through virtsnd_remove(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
futex: Also allocate private hash on vfork()
As Jann demonstrated, it is entirely feasible to access the mm through vfork().
Therefore we need to allocate a private hash on vfork() as well as any other
CLONE_VM user.
Specifically, it must be avoided to have (private) futex waiters before
allocating the private hash. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv4: icmp: reject RTN_UNREACHABLE input routes in icmp_route_lookup
When the forward output route cannot be used in icmp_route_lookup(),
it enters the "reverse path" and calls ip_route_input() on fl4_dec.daddr,
the original packet's source address.
ip_route_input() only returns an error for truly invalid packets. For
unreachable addresses it will succeed and return an input route whose
dst.output is set to ip_rt_bug(). The existing check only rejects
RTN_LOCAL routes, so the RTN_UNREACHABLE route types can still be returned
and later used for output, syzkaller triggering a WARN_ON_ONCE()
in ip_rt_bug() as bellow:
------------[ cut here ]------------

Reject input route that is RTN_UNREACHABLE to fix it. The net warning
is only printed for RTN_LOCAL, as RTN_UNREACHABLE is not the result of
a race condition. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: dsa: mxl862xx: disable the stats poll on teardown
mxl862xx_setup() arms the stats poll before mxl862xx_setup_mdio(), and
nothing stops it until dsa_register_switch() has returned an error to
mxl862xx_probe(). DSA frees the dsa_port list before it returns, so a
poll that fires once .setup or a later step of dsa_tree_setup() has
failed walks freed ports. On shutdown the user ports stay registered,
and the WORK_STOPPED flag test in mxl862xx_get_stats64() is not atomic
with the cancel in mxl862xx_shutdown(), so a re-arm that read the flag
before it was set queues the poll after cancel_delayed_work_sync() has
returned.
Arm the poll once .setup has succeeded and stop it from a .teardown op,
which DSA calls on unregister and after a failed registration, in both
cases before it frees the ports. Use disable_delayed_work_sync() there
and in shutdown(): it drains a running poll as the cancel did and turns
every later attempt to queue the work into a no-op, so the re-arm
cannot bring the poll back. remove() and the probe error path only set
WORK_STOPPED, which crc_err_work tests before it walks the ports. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
firmware: arm_scpi: reject DVFS OPP count above MAX_DVFS_OPPS
scpi_dvfs_get_info() already rejected a zero opp_count, but still trusted
any larger value from the SCP firmware. The shared-memory reply only holds
MAX_DVFS_OPPS entries in buf.opps[]; a bigger count over-reads that array
and then sizes the allocated OPP table incorrectly (garbage OPPs / OOB).
The missing upper bound dates back to the original SCPI DVFS support.
Reject zero and out-of-range counts in one check and return -EINVAL. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfrm: hold net_device reference under RCU in bundle creation
xfrm_bundle_create() and xfrm_create_dummy_bundle() read dst->dev into
a local pointer without taking a device reference, then pass it to
xfrm_fill_dst(). A concurrent RTM_DELLINK replaces dst->dev via
dst_dev_put() and frees the old net_device, causing a use-after-free
when xfrm6_fill_dst() later dereferences the stale dev pointer.
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in xfrm6_fill_dst+0x82c/0x860

read-side critical section active until xfrm_fill_dst() has taken the
required device references. |
