CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw was found in SSSD's LDAP sudo provider. When the ldap_sudo_search_base option is not explicitly configured, SSSD searches the entire LDAP directory tree for sudoRole objects. An authenticated attacker with write access to any subtree can inject a sudoRole object granting root-level sudo privileges on all SSSD-enrolled hosts.
libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Prior to 1.8.6 and 1.9.5, libgit2 does not reject traversal components in a submodule path loaded from .gitmodules. The affected src/libgit2/submodule.c paths include git_submodule_lookup and git_submodule_add_setup. A crafted repository can specify a path such as ../escape-target, and applications that initialize the submodule can create directories outside the repository working tree. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.6 and 1.9.5.
libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Prior to 1.8.6 and 1.9.5, libgit2 performs a fixed-size strncmp in set_data in src/libgit2/transports/smart_pkt.c without first verifying that the smart-protocol pkt-line capability buffer contains 14 bytes. A malicious Git server can make bytes after the pkt-line complete object-format=, causing format_str to advance beyond the pkt-line and the following memchr length calculation to underflow. The resulting heap out-of-bounds walk can crash a client during the first refs-advertisement packet over HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, or the Git protocol. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.6 and 1.9.5.
libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Prior to 1.8.6 and 1.9.5, verify_server_cert in src/libgit2/streams/openssl.c uses an inverted !!memcmp result in the GEN_IPADD branch when comparing an IP-literal host with a certificate IP SubjectAltName. OpenSSL builds reject matching IP addresses and accept mismatched IP addresses, allowing a network attacker with a CA-trusted certificate containing any IP SubjectAltName to intercept libgit2 connections to IP-literal HTTPS URLs. DNS SubjectAltName validation and non-OpenSSL TLS backends are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.6 and 1.9.5.
Dockge validates a stack name only on the write path. In backend/stack.ts the allow-list check in validate(), which requires the name to match ^[a-z0-9_-]+$, is reached from save() alone, while the path getter returns path.join(this.server.stacksDir, this.name) and Stack.getStack builds path.join(server.stacksDir, stackName) with no check. The socket handlers in backend/agent-socket-handlers/docker-socket-handler.ts confirm the caller is logged in and that the name is a string, then pass it straight to Stack.getStack, so a name containing traversal sequences resolves outside the managed stacks directory. An authenticated user can therefore read the composeENV and composeYAML values of any directory the server process can reach, which discloses the secrets in that directory's .env or Compose file, and can invoke delete(), which runs docker compose down and then fsAsync.rm on the traversed path with recursive and force set, removing that directory. Disclosure is limited to files named .env or an accepted Compose filename, and deletion requires the target directory to hold a valid Compose file so that docker compose down exits successfully. Dockge commonly runs as root with access to the Docker socket, so the reachable set includes unrelated applications on the host. Instances configured with disableAuth, a supported option that logs the caller in as admin automatically, expose both operations without authentication.
NoSleep 1.5.1 exposes a privileged XPC Mach service and accepts raw dictionary messages containing attacker-controlled command and NSBundlePath values. This issue affects NoSleep: 1.5.1.
Znuny before LTS 6.5.22 allows AgentTicketEmailResend template XSS.
A vulnerability was found in Comfast CF-N1-S 2.6.0.1. This impacts the function sub_44B50C of the file /cgi-bin/mbox-config?method=SET§ion=ptest_channel of the component Web Management. The manipulation results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used.
django CMS is an easy-to-use and developer-friendly enterprise content management system powered by Django. From 5.0.8 until 5.0.9, ContentRenderer.render_placeholder in cms/plugin_rendering.py can pass stored, attacker-controlled values to ContentRenderer.render_exception when plugin rendering fails in edit mode. Values from get_short_description(), the exception message, the placeholder, or placeholder.source are interpolated into a cms-rendering-exception heading and later returned through mark_safe. Because the heading is not escaped, stored HTML executes in an editor’s browser, and settings.DEBUG does not prevent the custom heading from rendering. The fix uses format_html to escape the message before safe placeholder output is returned. This issue is fixed in versions 5.0.9.
Libevent is an event notification library. From 2.2.0-alpha-dev until 2.2.2-alpha, the libevent WebSocket server in ws.c accumulates fragmented frames in evws->incomplete_frames without enforcing a total message-size limit. An unauthenticated remote client can repeatedly send fragmented WebSocket frames below WS_MAX_RECV_FRAME_SZ with FIN=0, causing the evbuffer to grow without bound until the process or host exhausts memory. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.2-alpha.
Libevent is an event notification library. Prior to 2.1.13 and 2.2.2-alpha, libevent has an incorrect integer conversion in event_tagging.c when evtag_unmarshal_header uses evtag_decode_int to decode an attacker-controlled uint32 payload length and returns it as a signed int. Values above INT_MAX become negative or truncated, and evtag_unmarshal_string can use the converted value in allocation sizing, producing a wrapped large allocation request and denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 2.1.13 and 2.2.2-alpha.
Libevent is an event notification library. Prior to 2.1.13 and 2.2.2-alpha, the libevent evhttp parser in http.c inconsistently handles duplicate Transfer-Encoding headers, comma-separated Transfer-Encoding values, and bare line feeds in chunked framing. evhttp_find_header can select only the first header, evhttp_check_transfer_encoding_ was absent so the previous whole-string comparison fails to recognize valid lists ending in chunked, and evhttp_handle_chunked_read uses EVBUFFER_EOL_CRLF rather than EVBUFFER_EOL_CRLF_STRICT, accepting bare LF chunk terminators. When libevent is deployed behind a proxy that frames the same request differently, an unauthenticated remote attacker can desynchronize request boundaries and smuggle a second request, potentially bypassing access controls or poisoning caches. This issue is fixed in versions 2.1.13 and 2.2.2-alpha.

aiosmtplib is an asynchronous SMTP client for use with asyncio. Prior to 5.1.2, SMTPProtocol.start_tls in src/aiosmtplib/protocol.py consumes the server's 220 response and starts the TLS handshake without clearing SMTPProtocol._buffer. An active network attacker can place attacker-chosen SMTP response lines after the plaintext 220 response in the same network segment. The method then calls loop.start_tls; those bytes survive the transport upgrade and are parsed as the first response from inside the TLS session, desynchronizing subsequent SMTP command and response pairs. Connections using start_tls=True or opportunistic STARTTLS are affected, while connections using use_tls=True are not. This issue is fixed in version 5.1.2.
django CMS is an easy-to-use and developer-friendly enterprise content management system powered by Django. Prior to 5.0.8, render_object_structure in cms/views.py renders cms/toolbar/structure.html for a PageContent object without calling user_can_view_page(). Any staff account can request a restricted page’s structure when CMS_PERMISSION is enabled and the page has view restrictions or CMS_PUBLIC_FOR is set to staff. The response exposes plugin get_short_description() values, including link names, URLs, and text snippets, rather than only the page shape. This issue is fixed in versions 5.0.8.
NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. From version 1.0.88.0 until stable version 6.0.1698.0 and preview version 6.5.1742.0, the Lz4Decode function in NanaZip.Core/SevenZip/CPP/7zip/Archive/SquashfsHandler.cpp rejects only a zero return from LZ4_decompress_safe even though malformed input produces a negative error value. The negative int is converted to the unsigned SizeT destLen and then truncated into outBufWasWrittenSize, causing ReadBlock to trust an attacker-inflated _cachedUnpackBlockSize. During fragment extraction, an attacker-controlled inode Offset can make memcpy read beyond the _cachedBlock heap allocation and place adjacent heap contents in the extracted file, or crash the process. This issue is fixed in stable version 6.0.1698.0 and preview version 6.5.1742.0.
Site isolation issue in the Graphics: WebRender component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, and Thunderbird 153.1.
