CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in curl. A remote malicious server can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) or memory corruption in applications that enable File Transfer Protocol (FTP) wildcard matching. When a wildcard listing operation fails, curl does not properly reset its internal callback handlers before the connection handle is reused or duplicated. An application that subsequently reuses or clones this corrupted handle may experience an immediate application crash or unsafe memory access. |
| A flaw was found in curl. When handling Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) transfers, a malicious server can trigger information disclosure by responding to a download request in a way that forces the client into transmit mode. Consequently, the client may unintentionally send leftover sensitive data from prior operations on a reused connection handle to the attacker's server. |
| A vulnerability was detected in itsmeravitejak Online-Examination-System up to e6208e630b14657999bbfe4c9912302d2a1e2449. This issue affects the function Exam::startExam of the file exam.php of the component Exam Module. The manipulation of the argument topicid results in sql injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. This product implements a rolling release for ongoing delivery, which means version information for affected or updated releases is unavailable. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
accel/amdxdna: Disable device buffer exporting
Device buffers are never intended to be exported. Disable exporting
support explicitly. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: qcom: iris: fix runtime PM reference leaks
Use pm_runtime_resume_and_get() in iris_enable_power_domains()
to avoid leaking a runtime PM usage count on failure.
Also ensure pm_runtime_put_sync() is always called in
iris_disable_power_domains(), even when iris_opp_set_rate()
fails, so runtime PM references remain balanced. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: act_ct: avoid modifying shared unconfirmed ct entry
In a case where skb with an unconfirmed ct entry gets cloned, we may
end up processing both again but with different sets of extensions.
The series of events:
1. The first clone wants to commit and runs the helpers wiring up
the extension pointer into the expectation list.
2. Then it looses the confirmation keeping the entry unconfirmed.
3. Second clone now wants to commit labels or run NAT and adds the
new extension for that breaking the pointer in the expectation
list causing UAF on the destruction path later.
While this is possible to trigger, there should be no practical
network pipeline where we need to process both clones without
modifications in the same zone. So, let's just reset the entry in
case for some reason we got an skb with a shared one. This doesn't
affect any known use cases, but avoids any potential problems with
sharing and modification of the unconfirmed ct entry.
Unlike openvswitch module, act_ct allows for NAT without commit.
Changing that would be a uAPI break. So, act_ct needs to reset on NAT
regardless of the commit flag to avoid reallocation of the extension
space. This, however, doesn't really change the picture for sensible
networking cases as there should be no need to run the same packet
twice (before and after the clone) through conntrack without packet
header or zone changes and without commit.
The fixes tag points to the introduction of helpers, since that's the
main UAF trigger for the sharing. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfs: don't let hidden_space go negative in xfs_metafile_resv_init
LOLLM points out that if the amount of fdblocks that we can reserve for
a metadata btree file goes below the space already used by that file,
then the hidden_space subtraction can underflow, causing
xfs_dec_fdblocks to subtract a huge amount of space. We never want the
target to be less than the used sapce, so fix the logic that adjusts
dblocks_avail downwards.
Also fix an error in the adjacent comment. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfs: fix wild memcpy access when formatting ondisk rtrefcount btree roots
LOLLM noticed that the inode btree root formatting methods copy too many
bytes -- there's only one set of keys in node blocks, not two. This
causes memory corruption of whatever's beyond the buffers. |
| A flaw was found in curl. When the command-line tool is executed with the remote header name option to prevent overwriting existing files, a malicious server can bypass this protection by returning an intermediate HTTP 103 (Early Hints) response or through specific header ordering. This flaw allows an attacker controlling a remote server to overwrite existing local files on the client system. |
| Use after free in Windows Composite Image File System allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| The Ignition Perspective module does not properly validate session privileges when determining Designer-level access. An authenticated user with access to a Vision project could provide their valid Vision session identifier and gain Designer-level privileges. An attacker could exploit these elevated privileges to execute arbitrary code in the context of the Ignition Gateway process. |
| A vulnerability exists in NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source when a map directive uses regex matching and the root directive or access log format references the map's regex capture variables before referencing the map output variable. Alternatively, the same result could be achieved by using a non-cacheable variable in a string expression under certain conditions. An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond their control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR.
Impact:
This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) on the NGINX system or to possibly trigger a code execution. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only.
Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. |
| LDAP filter injection in Zimbra Collaboration Suite 10.1.0 through 10.1.21 allows unauthenticated attackers to alter external LDAP search filters. On domains using search-filter authentication and lazy provisioning, this creates a password oracle for external directory users. Authenticated S/MIME lookups can also return certificates and identity data for unintended directory entries. |
| An authentication rate-limit bypass in Zimbra Collaboration Suite 10.1.0 through 10.1.21 allows unauthenticated attackers to make repeated password guesses through GraphQL without incrementing Zimbra’s source-IP failure counter. GraphQL aliases allow multiple authentication attempts in one HTTP request. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: line6: reject oversized playback packets
Each playback URB is handed a slice of out.buffer that is exactly
LINE6_ISO_PACKETS * max_packet_size_out bytes, sized from the OUT
endpoint, but the number of bytes written into that slice is never
compared against it.
submit_audio_out_urb() takes the frame count from prev_fsize, which
audio_in_callback() derived from the *IN* endpoint's received packet
length, and rescales it with the playback frame size; when prev_fsize is
still zero it synthesizes a length from the sample rate instead. On a
device declaring a large IN wMaxPacketSize and a small OUT
wMaxPacketSize, the resulting memcpy(), or the memset() when the
playback stream is idle, runs past its slice and, as the reproducer
below shows, beyond the allocation.
usb_submit_urb() is not a backstop. max_packet_size_out comes from
usb_maxpacket(), which returns only the low 11 bits of wMaxPacketSize,
while USB core validates a high-speed isochronous length against that
base scaled by usb_endpoint_maxp_mult(). A length of up to three times
the allocated slice is therefore accepted, and even a rejected URB is
only rejected after the write.
Reject a packet that does not fit the slice the driver allocated for it.
Clamping it instead would silently shorten the capture-derived rate
feedback and desynchronize the two streams.

Bluetooth: btintel: validate DDC record lengths
Parse DDC record lengths in unsigned storage so 0xFF does not wrap.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Hold map BTF for the memory allocator destructor record
bpf_ma_set_dtor() duplicates map->record so that the bpf_mem_alloc
destructor can release the special fields of hash and rhash map elements
once the allocator frees them for good. btf_record_dup() only acquires
references on kernel and module BTF. Fields whose types live in the map
BTF keep pointing into it: a kptr to a local type refers to map->btf,
and a list_head or rb_root field carries a value_rec owned by the struct
meta table of map->btf.
That borrowed state can outlive the map. When RCU callbacks are still in
flight, bpf_mem_alloc_destroy() copies the allocator and defers the final
drain, together with the destructor context, to a workqueue.
bpf_map_free() then frees map->record and drops the map's BTF reference
as soon as map_free() returns. Once the program that loaded the BTF is
gone as well, the BTF is freed while the worker still uses the
duplicate. The worker dereferences it through btf_is_kernel() and
btf_find_struct_meta() in bpf_obj_free_fields() when destroying elements
that were freed under RCU, and through btf_is_kernel() in
btf_record_free() when releasing the context itself:

kfree+0x186/0x560
rcu_core+0x6f6/0xd40
Freeing a map that still holds more elements than the allocator's high
watermark is enough to get there, because the bulk free during teardown
queues the RCU callback that makes bpf_mem_alloc_destroy() defer.
Non-preallocated hash maps and resizable hash maps both register the
destructor and are affected alike.
Keep one reference on the map BTF in the destructor context. Every
non-kernel pointer in the duplicated record is either map->btf or memory
owned by it, so a single reference covers kptrs, list heads, and rb
roots, and mirrors what bpf_map_meta_alloc() does for the duplicated
record of an inner map. Release it only after the duplicated record has
been freed: the worker is preemptible and not in an RCU read-side
critical section, so dropping the last reference first would let the
BTF be freed while btf_record_free() still reads its fields. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: sparx5: skip ptp deinit if init was skipped
sparx5_ptp_init() returns early on the base lan969x variants
because they do not have the SPX5_FEATURE_PTP flag. It also returns early
when no "ptp" interrupt is described. Unbinding the driver then causes a
NULL pointer dereference when cleaning up uninitialized tx_skbs queues:

when calling ptp_clock_unregister() on the never-registered PTP clocks.
Fix by returning early in sparx5_ptp_deinit() if PTP is not used. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/mediatek: Fix pdev reference leak in mtk_drm_bind()
When the device is not the mmsys master, mtk_drm_bind() returns early
after taking a reference on the disp-mutex device via
of_find_device_by_node(), without ever dropping it: mtk_drm_unbind()
only puts mutex_dev for the master. Drop the reference before returning
from the non-master path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
binderfs: fix UAF write in binder_add_device
binderfs_binder_device_create() publishes the new dentry with
d_make_persistent() and then calls simple_done_creating(), which drops
the parent directory lock and the creator's dentry reference. It then
calls binder_add_device() to register the device in the global
binder_devices list.
After simple_done_creating() releases the parent directory lock, a
concurrent unlinkat() can remove the new device entry. Dropping the
creator's dentry reference can then trigger binderfs_evict_inode(),
freeing the device. binder_add_device() later accesses the freed
object, causing UAF write.
