CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: openvswitch: fix middle attribute validation in push_nsh() action
The push_nsh() action structure looks like this:
OVS_ACTION_ATTR_PUSH_NSH(OVS_KEY_ATTR_NSH(OVS_NSH_KEY_ATTR_BASE,...))
The outermost OVS_ACTION_ATTR_PUSH_NSH attribute is OK'ed by the
nla_for_each_nested() inside __ovs_nla_copy_actions(). The innermost
OVS_NSH_KEY_ATTR_BASE/MD1/MD2 are OK'ed by the nla_for_each_nested()
inside nsh_key_put_from_nlattr(). But nothing checks if the attribute
in the middle is OK. We don't even check that this attribute is the
OVS_KEY_ATTR_NSH. We just do a double unwrap with a pair of nla_data()
calls - first time directly while calling validate_push_nsh() and the
second time as part of the nla_for_each_nested() macro, which isn't
safe, potentially causing invalid memory access if the size of this
attribute is incorrect. The failure may not be noticed during
validation due to larger netlink buffer, but cause trouble later during
action execution where the buffer is allocated exactly to the size:

Let's add some checks that the attribute is properly sized and it's
the only one attribute inside the action. Technically, there is no
real reason for OVS_KEY_ATTR_NSH to be there, as we know that we're
pushing an NSH header already, it just creates extra nesting, but
that's how uAPI works today. So, keeping as it is. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Remote Desktop Gateway Service allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| IBM MQ could allow a remote attacker with queue manager control or man-in-the-middle access on unencrypted channels to cause a denial of service in client applications using asynchronous message consumption due to improper validation of queue name length values. |
| lwIP through 2.2.1 contains a stack out-of-bounds write vulnerability in mdns_handle_response that allows adjacent attackers to corrupt stack memory by sending mDNS responses with invalid domain names. Attackers on the local link can send multicast PTR answers with oversized RDLENGTH or SRV answers with RDLENGTH below 6 during a service search, overflowing a 256-byte stack buffer and crashing the device. |
| A Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an adjacent unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service via a malformed RSVP packet when RSVP is enabled on the receiving interface. |
| IBM MQ could allow an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service due to improper validation of offset values in MQOPEN requests. |
| librtmp (RTMPDump) through 2.6 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in AMFProp_Decode that reads an AMF0 strict-array element count before checking that four bytes remain. A malicious RTMP server or man in the middle can send an AMF0 body ending with a strict-array type byte and fewer than four trailing bytes to crash the client. |
| An Improper Validation of Consistency within Input vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a configured BGP ISO-VPN peer to cause an rpd crash by sending a specific ISO-VPN update which is then processed by BMP route monitoring or NSR. |
| Insufficient Granularity of Access Control vulnerability in Apache Camel Platform HTTP component.
This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1.
The component decided whether an endpoint ran in proxy mode by testing whether its configured path started with the string proxy, rather than by matching the path exactly. Any endpoint whose path merely begins with those characters - proxyStatus, proxy-config, proxying and so on - therefore became a proxy endpoint without the route author asking for it. A proxy endpoint forwards requests onward, so an endpoint that was intended to serve its own content instead relays traffic on behalf of whoever calls it, which is both a request forgery primitive and an exposure of whatever the forwarding path can reach.
Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. Users on the 4.22.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. Proxy mode is now selected by an exact path match rather than by prefix. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, rename any endpoint path that begins with proxy but is not intended to be a proxy. |
| IBM MQ could allow an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code due to a heap buffer overflow when processing MQPUT or MQPUT1 operations with malformed message handle properties. |
| IBM MQ could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code due to a stack buffer overflow when processing TLS certificates with malformed distinguished names during channel connection establishment. |
| An issue was discovered in GStreamer gst-plugins-good before 1.28.2. While parsing an MP4 file, the isomp4 plugin's qtdemux_parse_uuid function may read past the end of a heap-allocated buffer, allowing an attacker to disclose heap memory contents. |
| snac2 before 2.93 contains a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in _xs_json_load_lexer() that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to corrupt heap memory by sending JSON strings containing a \u0000 escape. Attackers can send a single crafted application/activity+json POST to activitypub_post_handler(), which parses it before signature checks, overflowing heap allocations and crashing the server. |
| This CVE ID has been rejected or withdrawn by its CVE Numbering Authority. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Device Association Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Remote Access Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) EAP-TLS allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sysctl: Check range in proc_dointvec_ms_jiffies_minmax
Add the range check to do_proc_int_conv_ms_jiffies_minmax that commit
d174174c6776 ("sysctl: replace SYSCTL_INT_CONV_CUSTOM macro with
functions") incorrectly removed. |
