CVE-2026-17084 1 Python 1 Cpython 2026-08-19 N/A
The "stringprep" module didn't process characters from RFC 3454 tables B.2 or B.3 correctly: the latest Unicode codepoint attributes were used instead of the specified Unicode 3.2.0. This behavior would cause mismatches when processing domain names using IDNA 2003 (the "idna" codec) and the in_table_b2() function of the "stringprep" module. This only affects domain names containing characters that were not previously registered or had their Unicode attributes such as case-folding behavior updated since Unicode 3.2.0.
CVE-2026-12631 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-08-18 6.5 Medium
The Zephyr kernel validates the k_thread_join() and k_thread_abort() system calls (declared __syscall in include/zephyr/kernel.h) through thread_obj_validate() in kernel/thread.c. Its default switch branch is the access-denied path, taken when k_object_validate() returns -EPERM (the calling user thread was never granted access to the target thread object) or -EBADF (the supplied pointer is not a registered kernel object of the right type). That branch invoked K_OOPS(K_SYSCALL_VERIFY_MSG(ret, "access denied")), but K_SYSCALL_VERIFY_MSG treats a true expression as success; the non-zero error code ret therefore read as "verified OK", the kernel oops was never raised, and control fell through to CODE_UNREACHABLE. Because k_thread_join() and k_thread_abort() are system calls, an unprivileged user-mode thread (under CONFIG_USERSPACE) can reach this denial path directly by calling either syscall on a thread object it does not own. Instead of the offending thread being cleanly terminated, execution reaches __builtin_unreachable() while running in supervisor mode inside the syscall handler. On Clang builds CODE_UNREACHABLE emits an illegal-instruction trap, so a user thread can deterministically crash the kernel — a locally triggerable denial of service that escapes the userspace sandbox. On GCC builds the path is undefined behavior: the compiler may drop the return-value handling for thread_obj_validate(), so it can return an undefined bool; if that is false, the caller proceeds into the real k_thread_join()/k_thread_abort() implementation for a thread the user was never authorized to access, an access-control bypass. The fix changes the verification expression to ret == 0, so a denied (non-zero) result now correctly raises K_OOPS and terminates the offending caller.
CVE-2026-12632 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-08-18 6.5 Medium
Zephyr's Precision Time Protocol receive handler ptp_msg_post_recv() in subsys/net/lib/ptp/msg.c takes the 4-bit message type straight off the wire via ptp_msg_type() (msg->header.type_major_sdo_id & 0xF, range 0-15) and uses it to index the msg_size[] table. That table only defines entries up to PTP_MSG_MANAGEMENT (0xD), giving it ARRAY_SIZE == 14. Before the fix there was no upper-bound check, so the undefined types 0xE and 0xF indexed one or two int slots past the end of the array — an out-of-bounds read of adjacent read-only data. The out-of-bounds value is then reused as a length: it gates msg_size[type] > cnt, and when it is small or negative it makes cnt - msg_size[type] a large positive budget passed to msg_tlv_post_recv(), whose TLV loop then walks the message suffix past the received bytes, performing further out-of-bounds reads and in-place byte-swap writes on memory beyond the message slab. The defect is reached directly from the network: ptp_port_event_gen() in subsys/net/lib/ptp/port.c reads a PTP frame with ptp_transport_recv() and calls ptp_msg_post_recv() with the attacker-chosen type. PTP uses UDP multicast or raw Ethernet (0x88F7) and is unauthenticated, so any host on the same link can trigger the indexing on a CONFIG_PTP-enabled node with no preconditions. The reliably reproducible impact is a denial of service (fault/crash); a limited memory-corruption path exists but depends on the build-specific value adjacent to msg_size[], which the attacker cannot tune. The fix rejects type >= ARRAY_SIZE(msg_size) with -EBADMSG before any indexing.
CVE-2026-72271 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: i740fb: fix potential memory leak in i740fb_probe() In i740fb_probe(), the memory allocated in fb_videomode_to_modelist() for modelist is not freed in the error paths. Fix that by calling fb_destroy_modelist().
CVE-2026-48796 1 Cefsharp 1 Cefsharp 2026-08-18 5.3 Medium
CefSharp provides .NET bindings for the Chromium Embedded Framework for Windows Forms and Windows Presentation Foundation applications. Prior to version 148.0.90, CefSharp/SchemeHandler/FolderSchemeHandlerFactory.cs used filePath.StartsWith(rootFolder, StringComparison.OrdinalIgnoreCase) to decide whether a decoded and canonicalized request path remained inside rootFolder. That raw prefix test did not enforce a directory boundary, so a request such as ..%2fwww2/secret.txt could escape a configured www directory into a sibling www2 directory whose path shared the same string prefix. Applications that register FolderSchemeHandlerFactory for a custom scheme or an HTTP or HTTPS scheme can therefore serve local files outside the intended root when an attacker can cause the embedded browser to request the crafted URL. The issue affects both Unix-style paths such as /tmp/app/www2 and Windows paths such as C:\app\www2, and the fix appends a directory separator to the normalized root before comparison while rejecting null bytes and alternate data stream syntax. This issue is fixed in version 148.0.90.
CVE-2026-52876 1 Truelockmc 1 Streambert 2026-08-18 8.8 High
Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to version 2.6.0, the open-path-at-time IPC handler in src/ipc/player.js accepts a renderer-controlled filePath without validating its type or location. If the mpv or VLC launch attempts are skipped or fail, the handler passes filePath to Electron's shell.openPath. A compromised renderer can provide the path of a local executable, script, shortcut, or other file with an executing default handler, causing the operating system to launch it with the privileges of the StreamBERT process and enabling escape from the renderer sandbox. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0.

CVE-2026-50191 1 Rargames 1 4gaboards 2026-08-18 8.8 High
4gaBoards is a boards system for realtime project management. Prior to 3.3.8, 4gaBoards is vulnerable to pre-account takeover when registrationEnabled, localRegistrationEnabled, and ssoRegistrationEnabled are enabled and Google, GitHub, Microsoft, or OIDC SSO is configured. The POST /api/register endpoint permits creation of an unverified local account with a victim's email address, and POST /api/access-tokens permits that account to authenticate while isVerified is false. During the victim's first SSO login, server/api/helpers/users/get-create-one-for-github-sso.js, server/api/helpers/users/get-create-one-for-google-sso.js, server/api/helpers/users/get-create-one-for-microsoft-sso.js, and server/api/helpers/users/get-create-one-for-oidc-sso.js find the attacker-controlled account by email and link the verified SSO identity without confirming ownership of the local account. The attacker can retain local-password access to the linked account and obtain the victim's projects, data, and permissions. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.8.
CVE-2026-52793 1 Froxlor 1 Froxlor 2026-08-18 8.1 High
Froxlor is open source server administration software. Prior to 2.3.7, the API authentication path in lib/Froxlor/Api/FroxlorRPC.php and FroxlorRPC::validateAuth accepts an API key and secret for an administrator or customer account without checking type_2fa, validating a TOTP code, or invoking FroxlorTwoFactorAuth. The web interface requires a second factor for accounts with two-factor authentication enabled, but the API grants access after validating only the API credentials, expiration, API permission, and account status. An attacker who obtains an API key and secret for a protected account can call the available API functions without supplying the configured second factor, which can expose or modify customer data, domains, email and FTP accounts, databases, DNS records, and certificate material. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.7.
CVE-2025-25137 2026-08-18 6.5 Medium
Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in kareemsultan Social Links social-links allows Cross Site Request Forgery. This issue affects Social Links: from n/a through 1.0.11.
CVE-2026-52734 1 Zcashfoundation 1 Zebra 2026-08-18 5.3 Medium
ZEBRA is a Zcash node written entirely in Rust. Prior to 4.5.0, an unauthenticated P2P peer can cause the mempool download pipeline to retain transactions after verification reaches the outer RATE_LIMIT_DELAY timeout. In zebrad/src/components/mempool/downloads.rs, Downloads::poll_next removed cancel_handles entries after success and ordinary verification errors, but tokio::time::error::Elapsed did not carry the UnminedTxId needed to remove the timed-out entry. Each retained cancel_handles entry could hold a full Gossip::Tx(UnminedTx), while normal mined-transaction cleanup could not match attacker transactions and no periodic garbage collection or count cap existed. Sustained traffic therefore caused monotonic memory growth until swap pressure degraded the node or the operating system terminated the zebrad process for exhausting memory. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.0.
CVE-2026-55593 1 Froxlor 1 Froxlor 2026-08-18 6.5 Medium
Froxlor is open source server administration software. Prior to 2.3.8, the standalone lib/ajax.php entry point bypasses the centralized request validation in lib/init.php, and Ajax::handle in lib/Froxlor/Ajax/Ajax.php checks only for a valid session before routing state-changing requests. The editapikey action in Ajax::editApiKey updates allowed_from and valid_until without validating a CSRF token, while templates/Froxlor/assets/js/jquery/apikeys.js sends no token because the endpoint does not require one. An unauthenticated attacker can induce an authenticated administrator's browser to submit a forged request that adds an attacker-controlled address to an API key's allowed_from list or removes its expiration, weakening the key's security restrictions. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.8.
CVE-2026-47721 1 Frangoteam 1 Fuxa 2026-08-18 6.3 Medium
FUXA is a web-based Process Visualization (SCADA/HMI/Dashboard) software. Prior to 1.3.2, POST /api/scheduler and DELETE /api/scheduler in server/api/scheduler/index.js do not consistently enforce authJwt.haveAdminPermission for scheduler settings. An authenticated non-admin operator can create or alter deviceActions that invoke onSetValue or onRunScript, or delete schedules, gaining access to device-value changes and server-side project script execution normally reserved for administrators. Scheduled and repeating actions can continue changing PLC setpoints, safety interlocks, device state, or project data after the operator's session ends. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.2.
CVE-2026-65985 1 Frangoteam 1 Fuxa 2026-08-18 N/A
FUXA is a web-based Process Visualization (SCADA/HMI/Dashboard) software. In 1.3.2 and earlier, the device-webapi-request Socket.IO handler in server/runtime/index.js permits an authenticated non-admin runtime user to control property.address, causing the FUXA server to issue an outbound HTTP or HTTPS request and return the response body to the requesting socket. The attacker can use the server as a read SSRF oracle against reachable internal services or cloud metadata endpoints, with impact depending on the FUXA host's deployment network. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.3.
CVE-2026-65984 1 Frangoteam 1 Fuxa 2026-08-18 N/A
FUXA is a web-based Process Visualization (SCADA/HMI/Dashboard) software. In 1.3.2 and earlier, POST /api/refresh in server/api/auth/index.js falls back from current user data to decoded.groups, including when the user is deleted or groups is zero, and POST /api/heartbeat in server/api/index.js re-signs inbound JWT claims without validating the current database record. An attacker who possesses a previously issued privileged refresh cookie or access token can continue minting privileged JWTs after account deletion, disablement, role removal, or demotion. Continued refresh-cookie rotation can extend the stale session and preserve unauthorized access to user management, project manipulation, runtime configuration, scripts, and backdoor-account creation. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.3.
CVE-2026-67442 1 Frangoteam 1 Fuxa 2026-08-18 2 Low
FUXA is a web-based Process Visualization (SCADA/HMI/Dashboard) software. Prior to 1.3.3, DELETE /api/roles removes role definitions through server/runtime/users/usrstorage.js but does not remove the deleted role identifier from each user's info.roles array or the runtime usersMap cache. If a permission configuration still references that identifier, an affected user can retain authorization rights that an administrator intended to revoke, causing residual privilege, inconsistent access-control state, and misleading audit results. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.3.
