| ATutor is vulnerable to authentication bypass . Although a token validation check is present in the auto-login functionality, the values required for token validation remain uninitialized in certain code paths. An unauthenticated attacker who can determine a user's identifier and registration timestamp can generate a valid token and authenticate as an existing user, including administrator, without knowing the password.
Product is no longer actively supported and the vulnerabilities have not been fixed. Only version 2.2.4 was tested and confirmed as vulnerable, other versions were not tested but might also be vulnerable. |
| ATutor is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) attack in profile picture related endpoints. Any authenticated user, including a student, can supply another user's member_id in a POST request to the profile album endpoint and permanently delete that user's profile picture, including those of instructors and administrators.
Product is no longer actively supported and the vulnerabilities have not been fixed. Only version 2.2.4 was tested and confirmed as vulnerable, other versions were not tested but might also be vulnerable. |
| django CMS is an easy-to-use and developer-friendly enterprise content management system powered by Django. Prior to 5.0.8, the copy_plugins endpoint in cms/admin/placeholderadmin.py authorizes only the destination clipboard. The _copy_plugin_to_clipboard and _copy_placeholder_to_clipboard paths accept source_placeholder_id and source_plugin_id values but use has_copy_plugins_permission and check_source only for the requesting user’s clipboard, without validating the source placeholder. Under CMS_PERMISSION, a staff user with the global add permission for a plugin type can copy plugins from an unauthorized page or placeholder into the user’s clipboard and read secret text, link names, and URLs. This issue is fixed in versions 5.0.8. |
| django CMS is an easy-to-use and developer-friendly enterprise content management system powered by Django. Prior to 5.0.9, render_object_structure fails to authorize non-PageContent objects that use PlaceholderRelationField. An active staff user without cms.use_structure or model-level view or change permission can request the //admin/cms/placeholder/object/<content_type_id>/structure/<object_id>/ endpoint with guessed content_type_id and object_id values. The response discloses placeholder slot names, plugin trees, plugin identifiers, labels, and object existence for frontend-editable objects. The fix applies user_can_view_placeholder_source to the non-PageContent branch while keeping the structure board read-only for view-only users. This issue is fixed in versions 5.0.9. |
| django CMS is an easy-to-use and developer-friendly enterprise content management system powered by Django. Prior to 5.0.9, page duplication lacks an object-level authorization check on the source page. In cms/admin/forms.py, DuplicatePageForm.source accepts any Page, the AddPageForm constructor does not narrow a hidden source field, AddPageForm.clean does not validate the source against the user, and AddPageForm.save calls from_source. In cms/admin/pageadmin.py, duplicate and PageAdmin.has_add_permission check only whether a staff user may add a page. A crafted source value can therefore copy every placeholder and plugin from an unauthorized page with permissions=False, stripping source view restrictions and exposing content across sites or restricted subtrees when CMS_PERMISSION is enabled. This issue is fixed in versions 5.0.9. |
| A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay. An administrator of any repository, by knowing or guessing a target notification's Universally Unique Identifier (UUID), can read the notification configuration, including sensitive details like webhook URLs, Slack tokens, and email addresses. This vulnerability also allows them to trigger test notifications for another repository. This could lead to unauthorized information disclosure and potential misuse of notification services. |
| WeGIA before 3.9.2 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability in the employee profile page that allows authenticated attackers to access arbitrary employee records by injecting an id_pessoa parameter through a request extraction function that overwrites the session-derived identifier. Attackers can enumerate all user identifiers to retrieve full profile data for any employee account, including name, CPF, address, contact details, and administrative flags. |
| In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2 and 10.2.6, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could delete Splunk Processing Language version 2 (SPL2) modules belonging to other users through the data management orchestrator interface. The vulnerability does not affect Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.2. The broken object level authorization is possible because the data management orchestrator does not verify that the requesting user owns the target resources before it deletes the modules. For more information see Manage SPL2-based apps (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/admin-manual/10.4/meet-splunk-apps/manage-spl2-based-apps) in the Splunk documentation. |
| The SmartCrawl SEO checker, analyzer & optimizer WordPress plugin before 3.16.3 does not perform capability checks on two of its AJAX actions, allowing users with at least the Subscriber role to read the titles of private and draft posts by ID and to enumerate stored post-meta key names. |
| n8n before 2.34.1 and 2.33.4 contains an authorization bypass in the custom project role deletion (reassignment) path. When deleting a custom project role with a reassignment target, the code validated only that the target role existed and was project-scoped, performing no project-level authorization check. A user holding only the narrow role:manageProject global scope could delete any custom project role in use on the instance and reassign its holders (including themselves) to the built-in project:admin role, gaining full administrative control of projects they had no legitimate access to. |
| n8n versions before 2.34.1 contain a credential validation bypass in the MCP create_workflow_from_code tool when authentication type is set to an expression. Attackers with a valid MCP Bearer API key and knowledge of a target credential ID can persist unauthorized cross-project credential references on workflows in different projects. |
| An issue in Bottinelli Informatica Vedo Suite v.1.2.5 allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the api_vedo/chat endpoint and the utente_chat parameter |
| The YayCurrency WordPress plugin before 3.3.5 does not perform any capability or ownership check on several of its multi-vendor integration handlers that are reachable by unauthenticated users, allowing anyone to read the store's order totals and its vendors' earnings, balance ledgers, and withdrawal histories by iterating identifiers. |
| Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. From 9.57 until 9.74, the /api/boards/:boardId/exportExcel route in models/exportExcel.js called the asynchronous exporterExcel.canExport(user) authorization guard from models/server/ExporterExcel.js without awaiting it. The returned Promise was always truthy, so exporterExcel.build(res) ran even when board.isVisibleBy(user) would deny access, allowing any authenticated non-member to download private board card titles, descriptions, lists, swimlanes, members, and metadata. This issue is fixed in version 9.74. |
| Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to 8.6.3, a restricted user can request /api/v1/users/{target_id}/eulas to obtain another user's randomized EULA filename and then download the signed file through /account/stored-eula-file/{filename}. The primary /stored-eula-file/{filename} route correctly denies access, but app/Http/Controllers/ProfileController.php and app/Http/Controllers/Api/UsersController.php do not consistently enforce ownership and target-user authorization. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.3. |
