CVSS v3.1 |
| Realtek High Definition Audio Driver 6.0.1.6730 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability that allows local attackers to escalate privileges by placing a malicious executable in the service path. Attackers can insert an executable file in the unquoted path and restart the service to execute code with LocalSystem privileges. |
| CAI Content Credentials is affected by an Untrusted Search Path vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploit depends on conditions beyond the attacker's control. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must visit a maliciously crafted URL or interact with a compromised web page. Scope is changed. |
| AVAST Antivirus 25.11 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the SecureLine service that allows local non-privileged users to execute code with elevated SYSTEM privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted binary path in the service configuration to inject malicious executables that execute with high-level system permissions. |
| Untrusted search path in Microsoft XML allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature with a physical attack. |
| A code execution security issue exists within Studio 5000 Logix Designer® due to an unquoted search path in the External Tools configuration. The executable paths specified in the external tools configuration file are not properly quoted, and because these paths contain spaces, the operating system may resolve them to unintended executables placed earlier in the search order. If exploited, an attacker could plant a malicious executable in a location within the search path, resulting in arbitrary code execution with the same permissions of the user running the application. |
| ColdFusion versions 2025.9, 2023.20 and earlier are affected by an Uncontrolled Search Path Element vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is changed. |

Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is changed. |
| In OpenStack Ironic before 37.0.1, an Ironic user with the ability to deploy nodes using the IPMI management interface can maliciously use the send_raw step to send arbitrary IPMI commands to a node, bypassing Ironic's access control. |
| App::Ack versions through 3.10.0 for Perl read arbitrary files via --files-from in a project .ackrc.
ack searches up the directory hierarchy from the current directory for a project .ackrc and loads its options. The project-source option blocklist in App::Ack::ConfigLoader does not include --files-from, so a project .ackrc can set it to a path whose listed files ack then reads and searches. Version 3.10.0 added --follow to the blocklist; --files-from remains accepted.
A project .ackrc committed to an untrusted repository can make ack read files outside the project and print their matching lines. |
| In MLflow versions prior to 3.14.0, when running with authentication enabled, the trace API endpoints lack proper authorization validators. This allows any authenticated user to bypass experiment-level authorization controls on all trace operations, including reading, deleting, and modifying traces on experiments they do not have permission to access. The issue arises from the `_before_request` handler, which does not register authorization validators for trace endpoints, resulting in requests proceeding without validation. This vulnerability can expose sensitive data, destroy audit logs, and allow unauthorized modifications. |
| Untrusted Search Path vulnerability in B&R Industrial Automation GmbH APROL.
This issue affects APROL: before R 4.4-01P5. |
| An issue in Plone Docker Official Image 5.2.13 (5221) open-source software that could allow for remote code execution due to a package listed in ++plone++static/components not existing in the public package index (npm). |
| electron-updater allows for automatic updates for Electron apps. Prior to 26.15.0, AppImage targets built by app-builder-lib could use an empty path component when setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable at runtime. This causes the current working directory to be added to the dynamic linker search path, which may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code by placing a malicious shared library in the directory from which the AppImage is launched. This issue has been fixed in version 26.15.0. |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's ksmbd component. A race condition between smb2 close operation and logoff in multichannel connections could result in a use-after-free issue. |
| Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. In v8.9.6.1, isInTrustedDirectory() does NOT canonicalize the path before checking. It uses a prefix-based check (PathIsPrefix() or equivalent) that matches paths starting with trusted directory strings. A path traversal using ..\..\ after a trusted directory prefix passes the check while resolving to an untrusted location. The CVE-2026-48800 patch adds isInTrustedDirectory() validation in Command::run() (RunDlg.cpp) before calling ShellExecute(). This function checks whether the resolved executable path is under a trusted directory. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.9.6.2. |
| rtk filters and compresses command outputs before they reach your LLM context. Prior to 0.32.0, RTK (Rust Token Killer) improperly trusts project-local configuration files. RTK automatically loads .rtk/filters.toml from the working directory with highest priority and without user notification. An attacker can place a malicious filter file in a repository to apply regex-based modifications (e.g., strip_lines_matching) to shell command output before it is shown to the LLM, without any indication that the output has been modified. This allows attackers to selectively suppress or alter command output (including file contents, diffs, and security scan results) without detection, potentially concealing malicious code during AI-assisted development or review. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.32.0. |
| A flaw was found in libssh. This vulnerability allows local man-in-the-middle attacks, security downgrades of SSH (Secure Shell) connections, and manipulation of trusted host information, posing a significant risk to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of SSH communications via an insecure default configuration on Windows systems where the library automatically loads configuration files from the C:\etc directory, which can be created and modified by unprivileged local users. |
| A missing permission check in Jenkins GitHub Branch Source Plugin 1967.1969.v205fd594c821 and earlier allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to obtain the URLs of GitHub Enterprise servers configured in the global plugin configuration. |
| NetDrive 2.6.12 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the Netdrive2_Service_Netdrive2 service that allows local users to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges. Attackers can insert malicious executables in the system root path that will be executed during service startup or system reboot, resulting in privilege escalation. |
| TFTP Broadband 4.3.0.1465 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the tftpt.exe service binary that allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code with system privileges. Attackers can place a malicious executable in the Program Files directory path that will be executed during service startup or system reboot with LocalSystem privileges. |
