CVSS v3.1 |
| The JS Help Desk – AI-Powered Support & Ticketing System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'jsticket_message' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload fires specifically when an administrator or agent opens the affected ticket and the page initializes VenoBox, which reads the browser-decoded data-title attribute and passes it to jQuery .html(), making routine ticket review the trigger condition. |
| The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'pm_note (any custom Textarea metakey with html disabled)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.14.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires a privileged victim to click the attacker-rendered anchor on the target profile page, which triggers the DOM gadget that concatenates the unescaped data-src value into an HTML string passed to jQuery. |
| The Motors – Car Dealership & Classified Listings Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'stm_f_s[make]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.128 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the Free Listing Submission feature to be enabled, which is shipped on by default via the Setup Wizard demo configuration. |
| The Unlimited Elements for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the '<title>/<description> inside the attacker-controlled RSS feed body' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.26 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable against any site whose administrator has placed the RSS Feed catalog widget pointing at a feed URL the attacker controls, as the plugin's own 2.0.25 escaping pre-processor intentionally excludes |raw prints in element content positions from its escaping logic, and XML entity-encoded payloads in feed item titles are decoded back to raw markup before reaching the sink. |
| The Link Library plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'link_description' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.10.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This exploit requires the site administrator to have enabled the non-default 'Convert [] to <> in Link Description and Notes' (use_html_tags) setting; when this option is off, the bracket-to-angle-bracket conversion never runs and the payload is never reconstructed into executable HTML. |
| The Kubio AI Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment (review body)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires the attacker's review containing the payload to be approved, either automatically (due to a previously approved review from the same account) or manually by an administrator, and the active single-product template must use a Kubio-rendered wp:post-content block. |
| The Strong Testimonials plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'star_rating' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.16 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful execution requires an administrator to open the standard Preview link for a pending testimonial, a step the plugin's normal moderation workflow naturally invites. |
| The Quttera ThreatSign – Web Malware Scanner for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'HTTP_USER_AGENT' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.0.48 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever an administrator accesses an injected page. |
| The WP Visitor Statistics (Real Time Traffic) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'os (also browser, res)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 8.9.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The JetFormBuilder — Dynamic Blocks Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the '<any form field name — e.g. 'payload'>' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the targeted form to have both the Save Form Record action enabled and a form-level Form Record preset configured; the stored payload only executes when a privileged user visits the front-end form page with the preset's record query variable set to the attacker's submitted record ID. |
| The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'content' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.16 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the target site's theme to register a color_scheme field on the user profile via Redux_Users::set_profile(), which causes the nonce to be rendered on /wp-admin/profile.php for every logged-in user, making it accessible to Subscribers. |
| The Image Hover Effects Ultimate Visual Composer (Flipbox - Awesomes Flip Boxes Image Overlay) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'flip-box-image-upload-url-01-alt' parameter in versions up to, and including, 3.1.1. This is due to the plugin saving the image-alt field through sanitize_text_field() in Inc/Style22::register_child() (and Inc/Style18, 19, 20, 25, 29) — which preserves the double-quote character — and then concatenating the stored value into a double-quoted HTML attribute in Public_Render/Style22::default_render() (and the corresponding Style18/19/20/25/29 renderers) with no esc_attr() escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above (when an administrator has delegated the plugin's 'Who can edit' capability via the plugin Settings page, or on multisite installations where even administrators lack unfiltered_html), to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses any page containing an affected [oxilab_flip_box] shortcode or block. |
| The WP Visitor Statistics (Real Time Traffic) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'browser' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 8.7.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload is stored via an unauthenticated HTTP request to the public visitor tracking endpoint (wmcAction=wmcTrack) and executes when the bundled jqPlot PieRenderer inserts the HTML-decoded series label directly as HTML in the authenticated administrator's browser. |
| The User Frontend – Membership, User Registration, User Profile, User Directory & Content Restriction with Frontend Post Submission plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the '<taxonomy_field_name> (default: 'category')' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.13 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the target installation to have configured a Taxonomy field in text-input mode with guest post submission enabled on at least one frontend form. |
| The weDocs: AI Powered Knowledge Base, Docs, Documentation, Wiki & AI Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'modalPlaceholder' Block Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 2.6.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Because Contributors can save posts in pending status, a malicious payload in the modalPlaceholder block attribute will execute in the browser of any admin or editor who previews or views the pending post. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: drain session procfs readers before dropping table references
Session registration failure and connection cleanup can drop the table
reference while the per-session procfs entry is still accessible. If a
reader holds the last remaining reference, its final put calls
proc_remove() from its own callback and waits for that callback to
finish.
Remove the procfs entry before dropping the table reference in the
registration failure path. Queue sessions removed during connection
cleanup and drain their procfs readers after releasing both session
locks, then return their table references. Keep the global hash node
unhashed while a session is queued so a concurrent unregister cannot
drop the reference again.
Previous-session replacement also destroys the file table before the
session is finally freed. Detach the idr under the lock used by procfs
file counters, and report zero files after it has been detached. This
prevents a reader from accessing the idr during or after its
destruction. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: validate the data area in SMB2_read()
SMB2_read() copies le32_to_cpu(rsp->DataLength) bytes from
(char *)rsp + rsp->DataOffset without checking that the range lies
within the response actually received. A READ response with
DataOffset == 0 makes smb2_get_data_area_len() zero the data length, so
smb2_check_message() accepts a frame as short as the fixed response,
while SMB2_read() still uses the server-supplied DataLength, capped only
by CIFS_MAX_MSGSIZE and the caller's length.
A malicious server can answer the synchronous read used by the
mfsymlinks (or SFU) symlink parser with an 81-byte READ response
carrying DataOffset 0 and DataLength 1067, making the client copy 1067
bytes from a 448-byte receive object (KASAN slab-out-of-bounds; up to
16 KiB in the general case).
Clamp a zero (or header-overlapping) DataOffset to read_rsp_size, as
handle_read_data() does for the asynchronous path, and reject the
response unless DataOffset + DataLength fits within rsp_iov.iov_len.
The SMB1 helper was fixed the same way in 5be5bdda5863. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: limit sessions on each connection
The pending setup limit only counts InProgress sessions. A client can
complete authentication repeatedly and retain an unbounded number of Valid
sessions on one connection.
Reserve a connection slot before allocating a session and retain a
connection reference while authentication is in progress. The first SMB3
channel takes over that reservation; binding to another connection reserves
one slot there. Reauthentication and authentication continuation reuse the
existing reservation. Return slots on allocation or insertion failure,
channel removal, and final session destruction.
Accept max_sessions_per_connection in reserved startup-request space and
default to 64 when older tools leave it zero. Keep the request size and
existing field offsets unchanged. Expose the configured limit in procfs.
The existing connection limits bound the aggregate number of sessions
without a separate global session allocation limit. |
