CVE-2023-54274 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/srpt: Add a check for valid 'mad_agent' pointer When unregistering MAD agent, srpt module has a non-null check for 'mad_agent' pointer before invoking ib_unregister_mad_agent(). This check can pass if 'mad_agent' variable holds an error value. The 'mad_agent' can have an error value for a short window when srpt_add_one() and srpt_remove_one() is executed simultaneously. In srpt module, added a valid pointer check for 'sport->mad_agent' before unregistering MAD agent. This issue can hit when RoCE driver unregisters ib_device Stack Trace: ------------ BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 000000000000004d PGD 145003067 P4D 145003067 PUD 2324fe067 PMD 0 Oops: 0002 [#1] PREEMPT SMP NOPTI CPU: 10 PID: 4459 Comm: kworker/u80:0 Kdump: loaded Tainted: P Hardware name: Dell Inc. CVE-2023-54267 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/pseries: Rework lppaca_shared_proc() to avoid DEBUG_PREEMPT lppaca_shared_proc() takes a pointer to the lppaca which is typically accessed through get_lppaca(). With DEBUG_PREEMPT enabled, this leads to checking if preemption is enabled, for example: BUG: using smp_processor_id() in preemptible [00000000] code: grep/10693 caller is lparcfg_data+0x408/0x19a0 CPU: 4 PID: 10693 Comm: grep Not tainted 6.5.0-rc3 #2 Call Trace: dump_stack_lvl+0x154/0x200 (unreliable) check_preemption_disabled+0x214/0x220 lparcfg_data+0x408/0x19a0 ... This isn't actually a problem however, as it does not matter which lppaca is accessed, the shared proc state will be the same. vcpudispatch_stats_procfs_init() already works around this by disabling preemption, but the lparcfg code does not, erroring any time /proc/powerpc/lparcfg is accessed with DEBUG_PREEMPT enabled. Instead of disabling preemption on the caller side, rework lppaca_shared_proc() to not take a pointer and instead directly access the lppaca, bypassing any potential preemption checks. [mpe: Rework to avoid needing a definition in paca.h and lppaca.h]
CVE-2023-54269 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: SUNRPC: double free xprt_ctxt while still in use When an RPC request is deferred, the rq_xprt_ctxt pointer is moved out of the svc_rqst into the svc_deferred_req. When the deferred request is revisited, the pointer is copied into the new svc_rqst - and also remains in the svc_deferred_req. In the (rare?) case that the request is deferred a second time, the old svc_deferred_req is reused - it still has all the correct content. However in that case the rq_xprt_ctxt pointer is NOT cleared so that when xpo_release_xprt is called, the ctxt is freed (UDP) or possible added to a free list (RDMA). When the deferred request is revisited for a second time, it will reference this ctxt which may be invalid, and the free the object a second time which is likely to oops. So change svc_defer() to *always* clear rq_xprt_ctxt, and assert that the value is now stored in the svc_deferred_req.

CVE-2023-53845 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: fix infinite loop in nilfs_mdt_get_block() If the disk image that nilfs2 mounts is corrupted and a virtual block address obtained by block lookup for a metadata file is invalid, nilfs_bmap_lookup_at_level() may return the same internal return code as -ENOENT, meaning the block does not exist in the metadata file. This duplication of return codes confuses nilfs_mdt_get_block(), causing it to read and create a metadata block indefinitely. In particular, if this happens to the inode metadata file, ifile, semaphore i_rwsem can be left held, causing task hangs in lock_mount. Fix this issue by making nilfs_bmap_lookup_at_level() treat virtual block address translation failures with -ENOENT as metadata corruption instead of returning the error code.

The test procedure is: while true; do jailhouse enable imx8mp.cell jailhouse cell linux xxxx sleep 10 jailhouse cell destroy 1 jailhouse disable sleep 5 done And during the upper test, press keys to the 2nd linux console. When `jailhouse cell destroy 1`, the 2nd linux has no chance to put the uart to a quiese state, so USR1/2 may has pending interrupts. Then when `jailhosue cell linux xx` to start 2nd linux again, the issue trigger. In order to disable irqs before requesting them, both UCR1 and UCR2 irqs should be disabled, so here fix that, disable the Ageing Timer interrupt in UCR2 as UCR1 does.

CVE-2023-53834 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: adc: ina2xx: avoid NULL pointer dereference on OF device match The affected lines were resulting in a NULL pointer dereference on our platform because the device tree contained the following list of compatible strings: power-sensor@40 { compatible = "ti,ina232", "ti,ina231"; ... }; Since the driver doesn't declare a compatible string "ti,ina232", the OF matching succeeds on "ti,ina231". But the I2C device ID info is populated via the first compatible string, cf. modalias population in of_i2c_get_board_info(). Since there is no "ina232" entry in the legacy I2C device ID table either, the struct i2c_device_id *id pointer in the probe function is NULL. Fix this by using the already populated type variable instead, which points to the proper driver data. Since the name is also wanted, add a generic one to the ina2xx_config table.

A similar deadlock situation can be reproduced by requesting a crdump with > devlink health dump show pci/<BDF> reporter fw_fatal while PCI error recovery is executed on the same <BDF> physical function by mlx5_core's pci_error_handlers. On s390 this can be injected with > zpcictl --reset-fw <BDF> Tests with this patch failed to reproduce that second deadlock situation, the devlink command is rejected with "kernel answers: Permission denied" - and we get a kernel log message of: mlx5_core 1ed0:00:00.1: mlx5_crdump_collect:50:(pid 254382): crdump: failed to lock vsc gw err -5 because the config read of VSC_SEMAPHORE is rejected by the underlying hardware. Two prior attempts to address this issue have been discussed and ultimately rejected [see link], with the primary argument that s390's implementation of PCI error recovery is imposing restrictions that neither powerpc's EEH nor PCI AER handling need. Tests show that PCI error recovery on s390 is running to completion even without blocking access to PCI config space.

CVE-2023-53796 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: fix information leak in f2fs_move_inline_dirents() When converting an inline directory to a regular one, f2fs is leaking uninitialized memory to disk because it doesn't initialize the entire directory block. Fix this by zero-initializing the block. This bug was introduced by commit 4ec17d688d74 ("f2fs: avoid unneeded initializing when converting inline dentry"), which didn't consider the security implications of leaking uninitialized memory to disk. This was found by running xfstest generic/435 on a KMSAN-enabled kernel.
CVE-2023-53807 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: clocking-wizard: Fix Oops in clk_wzrd_register_divider() Smatch detected this potential error pointer dereference clk_wzrd_register_divider(). If devm_clk_hw_register() fails then it sets "hw" to an error pointer and then dereferences it on the next line. Return the error directly instead.
