CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: cls_route: fix fastmap use-after-free on filter
The route4 classifier maintains a 16-slot fastmap cache that stores raw
struct route4_filter pointers indexed by (id, iif). The reader
(route4_classify) populates this cache via route4_set_fastmap() for every
classified packet that hits a filter. The writer (route4_delete,
route4_change) clears the cache via route4_reset_fastmap() before
RCU-deferred kfree of the filter.
This creates a UAF race:
1. Reader walks the RCU-protected bucket chain, finds filter f
2. Writer unlinks f, calls route4_reset_fastmap(), then tcf_queue_work()
3. Reader calls route4_set_fastmap() and writes f into the cache
*after* the writer's reset, caching a pointer about to be freed
4. After the RCU grace period, kfree(f) executes
5. Next classified packet on the same (id, iif) tuple hits the stale
fastmap entry and reads f->res from freed memory
Reproduced with an mdelay(100) accelerator in route4_set_fastmap() and a
concurrent add/delete stress test (provided by both zdi and Santosh).
Both triggered KASAN slab-use-after-free reports in the route4 fastmap
paths.
Fix:
Introduce a per-filter boolean dying flag to suppress stale fastmap
republishing by in-flight readers. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: ipv6: clear suppressed fib6 rule result
fib6_rule_suppress() drops a suppressed route with ip6_rt_put_flags(),
but leaves res->rt6 pointing at the released rt6_info.
If no later rule supplies a replacement, fib6_rule_lookup() still sees
res.rt6 and returns that stale dst to its caller. A suppressing rule can
therefore leak a released route back to rt6_lookup(), and the next put
hits rcuref_put_slowpath() from dst_release().
Clear res->rt6 when suppressing the route so suppressed lookups fall
through to the null dst instead of reusing the released one. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vhost: reset the vring metadata cache on vring reconfiguration
vq->meta_iotlb[] caches the vhost_iotlb_map that backs each vring
metadata region, and iotlb_access_ok() returns early on a cache hit,
taking the hit as proof that the region has already been validated:
if (vhost_vq_meta_fetch(vq, addr, len, type))
return true;
The cache is reset on VHOST_IOTLB_UPDATE and VHOST_IOTLB_INVALIDATE, on
device IOTLB (re)initialisation and on vq reset, but not when
VHOST_SET_VRING_ADDR replaces vq->desc, vq->avail and vq->used, nor when
VHOST_SET_VRING_NUM changes the region sizes.
With a device IOTLB attached both ioctls are accepted while the vq is
live, and neither validates the addresses at ioctl time: vq_access_ok()
and vq_log_used_access_ok() return true early because the addresses are
GIOVAs, deferring validation to prefetch time. Once the cache has been
populated that deferred validation no longer runs -- vq_meta_prefetch()
hits the stale entry and returns true -- and vhost_vq_meta_fetch() keeps
translating through the old mapping as
map->addr + addr - map->start
for an address the mapping no longer covers. vhost_copy_to_user() and
vhost_copy_from_user() consume the result with __copy_to_user() and
__copy_from_user(), which do not check it either, so a subsequent used
ring update or descriptor fetch accesses memory outside the region the
IOTLB actually maps.
Reset the metadata cache whenever the vring is reconfigured, so the new
addresses are pushed back through iotlb_access_ok()'s slow path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nft_payload: fix mask build for partial field offload
nft_payload_offload_mask() builds the offload match mask for a payload
expression that covers only part of a header field. For a partial IPv6
address match (field_len = 16, priv_len = 1) that shift is 1 << 120, which
is undefined on the 32-bit int operand. It also trims only one word, so
the remaining words stay 0xffffffff (and when priv_len is a multiple of 4
the trim is skipped entirely), leaving the mask covering more bytes than
the rule matches.
UBSAN: shift-out-of-bounds in net/netfilter/nft_payload.c:278:20
shift exponent 120 is too large for 32-bit type 'int'
...
The match is byte-granular and struct nft_data is zero-initialised, so the
correct mask is simply the first priv_len bytes set to 0xff. Set those
bytes directly and drop the word/shift trimming; this removes the undefined
shift and no longer over-masks the trailing bytes. |
| Vulnerability in the Helidon product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Imperative Web Server). The supported version that is affected is 4.5.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Helidon. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Helidon accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.5 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N). |
| Adminer versions 5.3.0 through 5.4.2 with the sql-log plugin enabled contain an arbitrary file write vulnerability in the ns parameter of plugins/sql-log.php. An authenticated user can supply path traversal sequences in the ns parameter to write arbitrary .sql files with attacker-controlled content to any writable directory on the host. |
| Joomla Extension - joomlack.fr - Reflected XSS in Page Builder CK < 3.6.5 - The Joomla extension Page Builder CK is vulnerable to a reflected XSS via the iscontenttype parameter. |
| Joomla Extension - joomlack.fr - Second order SQL injection in Page Builder CK < 3.6.5 - The Joomla extension Page Builder CK is vulnerable to a SQL injection issue related to the loadStyles method of the frontend page model. |
| Adminer before 5.4.3 contains an arbitrary file deletion vulnerability in SQLite mode where the database-list drop action fails to validate file extensions before deletion. An authenticated attacker can submit arbitrary relative file paths in the db[] parameter to delete any files writable by the PHP process. |
| GitPython versions before 3.1.59 contain an incomplete denylist in the unsafe_git_revision_options guard that omits --contents and -S options, allowing attackers to read arbitrary files by passing these options to Repo.blame(). Attackers can supply revision values like --contents=/etc/passwd to leak file contents through the blame result returned to the caller. |
| A flaw was found in WebKitGTK. Processing malicious web content can cause a use-after-free issue due to improper memory handling and result in memory corruption. |
| Orval generates type-safe JavaScript clients in TypeScript from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications. Prior to 8.21.0, a ${...} expression or backtick in an array item default is emitted into a module-level template literal emitted by zod schema generation without safe encoding. This permits attacker-controlled JavaScript to be evaluated when the generated zod schema module is imported, resulting in code execution in the developer, CI, test, or application environment. The affected code is packages/zod/src/index.ts function formatDefaultValue. This issue is fixed in version 8.21.0. |
| Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to 8.6.2, a stored manufacturer or supplier name passed as the table component $name becomes data-selected-count-id in resources/views/partials/bootstrap-table.blade.php. Client-side code reads the browser-decoded countId, uses it as a selector, concatenates countId.substring(1) into an HTML string, and passes the string to jQuery .after(). A crafted name can therefore execute JavaScript when an authenticated user views the manufacturer detail page or supplier detail page, potentially exposing data or actions available to that session. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.2. |
| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.0, the glyph_cache_get function in libfreerdp/cache/glyph.c checks whether index is greater than cache->number instead of greater than or equal to it. A malicious RDP server can use GLYPH_FRAGMENT_USE replay in update_process_glyph_fragments to make the default cache receive index 254 when cache->number is 254, reading one pointer beyond the entries array and dereferencing it as a glyph. This can crash the client and may disclose adjacent heap data. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. |
| Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to 8.6.0, an authenticated user with users.create permission can submit the admin permission while creating a user because store() in app/Http/Controllers/Users/UsersController.php strips superuser permission but does not strip admin permission. The created account can obtain administrative privileges. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.0. |
| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.0, FreeRDP H.264 decoder backends can return YUV planes sized from the bitstream without comparing the decoded width and height to the RDPGFX surface dimensions used to validate region rectangles. A malicious RDP server can provide an AVC420 or AVC444 bitstream whose decoded frame is smaller than the negotiated surface, causing yuv420_context_decode and the YUV-to-RGB conversion paths to read beyond the decoder-owned planes in libfreerdp/codec/h264.c and the selected H.264 backend. This can disclose client memory or crash the client. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. |
| Vulnerability in the Helidon product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Imperative Web Server). The supported version that is affected is 4.5.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Helidon executes to compromise Helidon. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Helidon accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 4.4 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N). |
| Vulnerability in the Helidon product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Imperative Web Server). The supported version that is affected is 4.5.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Helidon. While the vulnerability is in Helidon, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Helidon accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Helidon accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.2 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N). |
| Adminer before 5.4.3 uses a CSRF token scheme that transmits both the XOR mask and the masked value in every token (format (rand XOR secret):rand), allowing anyone who observes a single CSRF token (e.g., via network sniffing, log files, Referrer header, or XSS) to recover the session secret with a single XOR operation and forge unlimited valid tokens. The implementation is further weakened by a low-entropy session token (rand(1,1e6), ~20 bits) that permits blind brute-force, and by use of loose comparison (==) in token verification, enabling PHP type juggling. Exploitation enables cross-site request forgery against authenticated sessions, including execution of arbitrary SQL queries. |
| Adminer before 5.4.3 fails to sanitize the server field before constructing a PDO DSN string, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject ODBC parameters via semicolons. Attackers can inject TraceFile and TraceOn parameters to write PHP code to the web root, achieving remote code execution when the trace file is accessed. |
