| ExifReader is a JavaScript Exif information parser. Prior to 4.40.1, ExifReader.load() and the asynchronous file and URL loaders can pass attacker-supplied HEIC or AVIF data to the ISO-BMFF parser in src/image-header-iso-bmff.js, where findMetaBox() and parseBox() accept an eight-byte box header without confirming that fields required by the parsed box remain in the DataView. A valid ftyp box followed by an empty free or unknown box can cause an unchecked full-box version read, while a truncated extended-size box can make getBoxLength() and hasEmptyHighBits() read absent size fields. The resulting RangeError escapes the main parsing path and can abort an application request or worker when parse errors are not defensively caught, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.40.1. |
| Hoverfly is an open source API simulation tool. Prior to version 1.12.8, when Hoverfly is running in Diff mode, the `AddDiff()` function writes to the shared `responsesDiff` map without any synchronization (no mutex). When multiple proxy requests are processed concurrently (the normal case for any proxy), the concurrent map writes trigger Go's built-in race detector which causes a `fatal error: concurrent map read and map write`, immediately killing the entire Hoverfly process. This is trivially exploitable by sending multiple simultaneous requests. Version 1.12.8 patches the issue. |

| Conform, a type-safe form validation library, allows the parsing of nested objects in the form of object.property. From 1.8.0 until 1.19.4, the parseSubmission future API in packages/conform-dom/formdata.ts repeatedly scans FormData or URLSearchParams entries by each unique field name. An unauthenticated attacker can submit a crafted form containing many unique names, causing excessive synchronous CPU work and denial of service in an application that passes the submission to parseSubmission. Applications should continue to enforce request parsing limits before invoking Conform. This issue is fixed in version 1.19.4. |
| ArduinoCore-avr contains the source code and configuration files of the Arduino AVR Boards platform. A vulnerability in versions prior to 1.8.8 allows an attacker to trigger a stack-based buffer overflow when concatenating floating-point values of sufficiently large magnitude onto an Arduino String object. By passing values near the extremes of the float or double range to `String::concat(float)`, `String::concat(double)`, `String::operator+=()`, or the `+` operator with a float/double operand, `dtostrf()` writes beyond the fixed-size stack buffer, causing memory corruption and denial of service. Under specific conditions, this could enable arbitrary code execution on AVR-based Arduino boards. The fix is included starting from the `1.8.8 `release. |
| OpenTelemetry, also known as OTel, is a vendor-neutral open source Observability framework for instrumenting, generating, collecting, and exporting telemetry data such as traces, metrics, and logs. Prior to 0.154.0, the Sentry exporter reads the remote OTLP sender-controlled service.name resource attribute in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_exporter.go through extractProjectSlug and getOrCreateProjectEndpoint, passes the raw project slug to GetOTLPEndpoints and GetProjectKeys in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_client.go, and interpolates it into a Sentry API URL without applying projectSlugRegexp through validateRoutingConfig at runtime in exporter/sentryexporter/config.go. Special characters can turn the expected path suffix into query data in all deployments or introduce slash and dot segments that traverse paths when the Sentry deployment normalizes them, while the Collector attaches its operator-configured bearer token to the request. A successful request can reach token-authorized administrative, organization, member, or key endpoints within the configured Sentry organization, and an attacker-controlled project slug can redirect subsequently exported telemetry. Sentry token middleware prevents cross-organization access. This issue is fixed in version 0.154.0. |
| matrix-sdk-crypto is a no-network-IO implementation of a state machine that handles end-to-end encryption for Matrix clients. Starting in version 0.12.0 and prior to version 0.17.0, the matrix-sdk-crypto crate was missing a check for the user ID when decrypting an Olm-encrypted event containing the `sender_device_keys` property. This could be exploited to forge an encrypted to-device event, but only if the attacker colludes with the homeserver operator. This issue is fixed in matrix-sdk-crypto 0.17.0. There are no known workarounds for the issue. |
| fluent-plugin-s3 is an Amazon S3 input and output plugin for Fluentd. From 0.7.0 to 1.8.4, the in_s3 input plugin reads the entire decompressed payload of gzip, lzma2, and lzop objects into memory without enforcing a decompression_size_limit. An attacker with permission to upload objects to the monitored S3 bucket can provide a highly compressed object that expands excessively when Fluentd processes it. The resulting memory exhaustion can cause the operating system to terminate the Fluentd process and disrupt all log collection on the affected node. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.5. |

| XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform. Prior to 17.10.5 and 18.2.0, the /skin/ action in com.xpn.xwiki.web.SkinAction can resolve double-encoded parent-directory segments outside the intended skin or web-application resource prefix when Jetty 12 or later decodes the request path. The affected lookup is replaced with Environment.getResourceAsStream(String, String), which constrains a resource to its expected prefix. An unauthenticated remote attacker can use the vulnerable behavior to read arbitrary resources permitted to the Jetty process, including WEB-INF/xwiki.cfg and, depending on deployment depth and operating-system permissions, host files. Tomcat and Jetty versions before 12 do not appear affected. This issue is fixed in versions 17.10.5 and 18.2.0. |

| The Royal Addons for Elementor – Addons and Templates Kit for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.1066 via the 'wpr_keyword' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract arbitrary postmeta values from all published posts via character-by-character substring matching across the entire wp_postmeta table. The required nonce is emitted publicly via wp_localize_script on any frontend page that loads a Royal Elementor widget, meaning no authenticated session or prior action is needed to obtain it. |
| net_if_ipv6_calc_reachable_time() in subsys/net/ip/net_if.c derives a randomized ND reachable time from ipv6->base_reachable_time as min_reachable + sys_rand32_get() % (max_reachable - min_reachable), where min_reachable = base/2 and max_reachable = 3*base/2 using integer division. When base_reachable_time is 1, both min_reachable and the modulus collapse so the function returns 0, and net_if_ipv6_set_reachable_time() stores that 0 into ipv6->reachable_time.
The base_reachable_time is attacker-controlled: handle_ra_input() in subsys/net/ip/ipv6_nbr.c accepts the Reachable Time field of an incoming Router Advertisement whenever it is nonzero and <= MAX_REACHABLE_TIME, so a single unauthenticated, link-local RA carrying a Reachable Time of 1 drives the computed reachable time to 0. Router Advertisements are unauthenticated by default and require only adjacency to the target link.
When a neighbor is subsequently confirmed reachable, net_ipv6_nbr_set_reachable_timer() reads the value and executes NET_ASSERT(time, "Zero reachable timeout!"). On builds with CONFIG_ASSERT enabled this triggers a fatal kernel assertion — a remote denial of service; on builds without assertions the reachable timer is armed with K_MSEC(0) and fires immediately, forcing reachable neighbors into perpetual re-solicitation (STALE), degrading Neighbor Discovery. The impact is limited to availability; there is no memory-safety, confidentiality, or integrity consequence. |
