CVSS v3.1 |
| Apache Pulsar Manager is a web console for administering Apache Pulsar clusters. It has its own user accounts and login, and it can be configured with an HTTP authentication credential, such as a token, that it uses to call the Pulsar admin API on behalf of its users. Pulsar Manager has the following security issues:
- The operation for creating the initial administrator (superuser) account is available without authentication, and it remains available after the instance has been initialized. Anyone who can reach Pulsar Manager can create an additional administrator account at any time and log in with it. This issue affects versions 0.3.0 and later.
- Requests to the Pulsar admin API that Pulsar Manager proxies to the configured Pulsar cluster are not subject to Pulsar Manager's authentication. Version 0.2.0 checks the caller's permissions for some of these requests, but not for all of them. An unauthenticated user can therefore use Pulsar Manager to send requests to the Pulsar admin API, which the cluster processes with the credential configured in Pulsar Manager.
- The destination of a proxied request can be chosen by the requester, and Pulsar Manager attaches its configured Pulsar admin credential to the request. An unauthenticated user can make Pulsar Manager send this credential to a host of the user's choosing, and the credential can then be used directly against the Pulsar cluster.
- In versions 0.3.0 and later, Pulsar Manager does not distinguish between privilege levels of its accounts. Every account, including one created through the first issue, effectively has full administrative privileges in Pulsar Manager.
The impact depends on the version and the deployment. In versions 0.3.0 and later, any user who can reach Pulsar Manager over the network can take full control of Pulsar Manager. In all versions, when Pulsar Manager is configured with an HTTP authentication credential for a Pulsar cluster, any user who can reach Pulsar Manager can perform the Pulsar admin operations that this credential permits and can obtain the credential itself. When Pulsar Manager is configured with the token signing key of a Pulsar cluster, an administrator of Pulsar Manager can create tokens for the cluster.
Apache Pulsar Manager is no longer maintained and is completely unsupported. The Apache Pulsar PMC has retired it. There are no supported versions, and no further releases, fixes or security updates will be made for any version. These issues will not be fixed.
Using Pulsar Manager is not recommended. Users should stop using Pulsar Manager, remove existing deployments, and move to one of the alternatives described in the Administration UI documentation (https://pulsar.apache.org/docs/administration-ui). Users who have exposed Pulsar Manager configured with a Pulsar credential or token signing key should also consider replacing that credential or key.
Until a deployment is removed, users should not expose Pulsar Manager to untrusted networks, and should restrict network access to it to trusted administrators. |
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command ('OS command injection') and Missing Authorization vulnerability in OnePlus OxygenOS on Android. Any locally installed Android application, with no permissions declared
and no user interaction beyond launching it, can execute arbitrary shell
commands as uid 0 in the u:r:dumpstate:s0 SELinux domain. Two defects
combine: (a) OnePlus's atlasservice binder interface accepts
setEvent(String8 name, String8 value) from any caller without
authorization, and (b) one event handler
(OplusAtlasLogWriter::handleEvent, matching event name
atlas_event_multimedia_audio_dumpsys) copies the caller-supplied value
into the system property oplus.audio.dumpinfo.type and starts the root
init service audiodumpinfo, which passes that property value unsanitized
to system(). This issue affects OxygenOS: from 16.1.0 before 16.1.10.500, from 16.0.0 before 16.0.5.1200, and from 15.0.0 before 15.0.0.2000. |
| Exposed dangerous method or function and Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in OnePlus OxygenOS on Android. The olc2 logging HAL exposes a binder method that fork()'s and calls execl("/vendor/bin/sh", "sh", "-c", cmd, NULL) with a caller-supplied command string. The only authorization check is getCallingUid() == 0. Because SELinux policy grants binder access to this HAL to a wide client attribute, any uid-0 process in any of those domains (including dumpstate, which is reachable from an unprivileged app via Vulnerability 1) obtains arbitrary command execution. The spawned shell lands in u:r:vendor_qti_init_shell:s0 SELinux context via a policy type_transition, a domain holding all Linux capabilities. This issue affects OxygenOS: from 16.1.0 before 16.1.10.500, from 16.0.0 before 16.0.5.1200, and from 15.0.0 before 15.0.0.2000. |

| Trigger.dev before 4.5.0 looks up runs by friendlyId alone in the api.v1.runs.$runParam.replay route without scoping the lookup to the caller's runtime environment. An attacker holding any tenant's API key who knows a victim's run friendlyId can replay that run into their own environment and read the victim's task payload. |
| Trigger.dev before 4.5.6 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability that allows remote attackers to log out authenticated users by sending a link to the GET-based /logout endpoint. Attackers can lure victims into clicking an obfuscated, URL-encoded link that terminates their session, causing loss of unsaved work. |
| Dulwich before 1.2.9 fails to validate DOS drive letter prefixes in Git tree path elements on Windows, allowing arbitrary file write. Attackers can craft a malicious repository with a tree entry named 'C:' that bypasses NTFS validation and writes files outside the worktree to achieve remote code execution. |
| Vulnerability in the Applications DBA product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: AD Utilities). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Applications DBA executes to compromise Applications DBA. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Applications DBA accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Applications DBA accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N). |
| filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.30.0 until 4.2.1, StrictSoftFileLock versions from 3.30.0 and SoftReadWriteLock versions from 4.0.0 can adopt a protocol directory created first by another local user in a shared parent directory, allowing that user to alter protocol state and admit concurrent holders. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. |
| A flaw was found in libmodulemd. When parsing module metadata, the xmd field is converted into nested GVariant values through recursive YAML mapping and sequence helpers without a recursion-depth or node-count limit. An attacker who can supply crafted modulemd YAML with deeply nested xmd content can cause stack exhaustion or excessive resource consumption, resulting in a denial of service. |
| A flaw was found in libsolv, a dependency-resolution library used by RPM-based package managers such as dnf and zypper to work with .solv repository cache files. When libsolv rewrites a .solv cache file, it reads directory-id values from the file's compressed filelist data without validating that they fall within the expected range. A corrupted or specially crafted .solv cache file (for example, one left in a torn state after an unclean system shutdown) can cause an out-of-bounds memory write when a tool such as dnf, yum, or zypper next processes it. Successful exploitation is expected to result in a crash of the affected tool (denial of service); it is not expected to allow arbitrary code execution because the out-of-bounds write always stores a fixed, non-attacker-controlled value. |
| odf-kit allows users to generate, fill, read, and convert OpenDocument Format files (.odt, .ods) in TypeScript and JavaScript. Starting in version 0.6.0 and prior to version 0.14.2, he renderer has an `escapeHtml()` helper and applies it consistently to text content and to attribute values — `href`, `src`, `alt`, `id`, `data-author`, `data-date`, citation text all go through it. The inline CSS strings do not. In `renderTextSpan` (`dist/odt/to-html/html-renderer.js:195`), the value of e.g. `fo:color` is copied from the document into `style.fontColor` verbatim by the parser (`extractSpanStyle`, read/parser.js:348), then concatenated raw into the attribute. A `"` in the value terminates the attribute early. The same unescaped `style="${...}"` pattern appears at roughly ten other emission sites: paragraph and heading (`paragraphStyleToCss`), table cells and rows (`cellStyleToCss`, `rowStyleToCss`), `<col>`, and the image style attribute. The affected source attributes include `fo:color`, `fo:background-color`, `fo:text-shadow`, `fo:letter-spacing`, `fo:font-family` (via both direct and font-face resolution), `fo:margin-*`, `fo:padding-*`, `fo:line-height`, `fo:border*`, and `style:vertical-align`. Version 0.14.2 contains a patch. |
| filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.32.6 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can follow a swapped symbolic link during the conditional os.access writability check for a node without its owner-write bit, allowing another local user on a platform and directory configuration that follows the link to infer whether a chosen path exists and is writable from the observable acquisition result. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. |
| A flaw was found in the PathResourceManager component of the Undertow web server. This component is responsible for serving static files from the file system. The issue occurs because the mechanism used to verify if a symbolic link points to a safe location only checks if the target path starts with a specific string, without ensuring it matches a full directory name. This could allow an attacker to access files in a sibling directory if that directorys name starts with the same characters as an authorized safe directory. |
