CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability was found in usestrix strix up to 1.0.2. This affects an unknown function of the file system_prompt.jinja of the component PyPI Handler. Performing a manipulation results in inclusion of functionality from untrusted control sphere. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitability is reported as difficult. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-26 contains a use-after-free vulnerability in the FormatMagickCaption method when memory allocation fails. Attackers can trigger memory allocation failures to cause a dangling pointer to reference freed memory, potentially enabling denial of service or code execution. |
| NATS Server is a high-performance server for NATS.io, the cloud and edge native messaging system. Prior to 2.14.3 and 2.12.12, a WebSocket listener could route requests for the MQTT-over-WebSocket path into MQTT handling even when MQTT was not configured, allowing an unauthenticated client with access to the WebSocket listener to reach uninitialized MQTT state and crash the server process. This issue is fixed in versions 2.14.3 and 2.12.12. |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-15 contains a use-after-free vulnerability in the PDB decoder that uses a stale pointer when memory allocation fails. Attackers can trigger this vulnerability by processing malicious PDB files to cause crashes or write a single zero byte to freed memory. |
| A Missing Synchronization vulnerability in the flow collector handler of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved on QFX Series allows an adjacent, unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS).
When the reachability of an sFlow collector changes, the corresponding next-hop entry is updated. If this update occurs simultaneously with the sFlow thread accessing the next-hop data (which is outside the attackers control), it causes the evo-pfemand process to crash, impacting all traffic forwarding until the automatic process restart has completed.
This issue affects Junos OS Evolved on QFX Series:
* all 23.2 versions,
* 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S7-EVO,
* 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S5-EVO,
* 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S3-EVO,
* 25.2 versions before 25.2R2-EVO. |
| pcapng file parser crash in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.6 allows denial of service |
| Local attackers with a X connection able to provide GLX commit to the X server xorg-server before 21.2.24 and xwayland before 24.1.13 could cause a Heap Use After Free, due to CommonMakeCurrent() pointing into potentially reallocated memory. |
| A use-after-free vulnerability exists in libcurl when an application
configures an HTTP/2 stream-dependency tree via `CURLOPT_STREAM_DEPENDS` or
`CURLOPT_STREAM_DEPENDS_E`, subsequently invokes `curl_easy_reset()`, and
finally terminates the handle with `curl_easy_cleanup()`. During this final
cleanup phase, libcurl attempts to access and modify an internal structure
that was already freed during the reset operation. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm: Set old handle to NULL before prime swap in change_handle
There was a potential race condition in change_handle. The ioctl
briefly had a single object with two idr entries; a concurrent
gem_close could delete the object and remove one of the handles
while leaving the other one dangling, which could subsequently
be dereferenced for a use-after-free.
To fix this, do the same dance that gem_close itself does.
(f6cd7daecff5 drm: Release driver references to handle before making it available again)
First idr_replace the old handle to NULL. Later, if the prime
operations are successful, actually close it.
create_tail required a similar dance to avoid a similar problem.
(bd46cece51a3 drm/gem: Fix race in drm_gem_handle_create_tail())
It idr_allocs the new handle with NULL, then swaps in the correct
object later to avoid races. We don't need to do that here, since
the only operations that could race are drm_prime, and
change_handle holds the prime lock for the entire duration.
v2: cleanups of error paths |
| CoreWCF is a port of the service side of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) to .NET Core. Prior to 1.8.1 and 1.9.1, CoreWCF UnixDomainSocket POSIX peer identity resolution uses non-reentrant getpwuid and getgrgid calls, allowing concurrent connections to attribute one connection's identity to another or crash the host process under contention. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.1 and 1.9.1. |
| Untrusted pointer dereference in Microsoft Office allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| ssh in OpenSSH before 10.4 can have a use-after-free when a server changes its host key during a key re-exchange. (This outcome occurs only on the client side.) |
| A flaw was found in p11-kit. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by calling the C_DeriveKey function on a remote token with specific IBM kyber or IBM btc derive mechanism parameters set to NULL. This could lead to the RPC-client attempting to return an uninitialized value, potentially resulting in a NULL dereference or undefined behavior. This issue may cause an application level denial of service or other unpredictable system states. |
| Ladybird contains a dangling-reference memory-safety flaw in its WebAssembly ESM-integration module loader. When a JavaScript function is imported into a WebAssembly module via the ESM path, WebAssemblyModule.cpp passes a stack-local Wasm::FunctionType by reference to create_host_function, whose host callback captures and later reads that reference; once the ESM link-loop iteration ends the FunctionType is destroyed, leaving the callback with a dangling reference (the normal instantiate path uses a long-lived reference and is not affected). Stale result-type data lets the host callback return an empty result vector for a statically non-empty result, so the destination register retains an attacker-influenced value that is then consumed by the WASM-GC array.set handler, which bit-casts the reference low bits to an ArrayInstance pointer after only a null check, yielding an arbitrary write. A web page can chain this into code execution in the WebContent process. Verified reachable from HTML content without any instrumentation or source modification. |
| Calling `curl_easy_pause()` within the event-based `CURLMOPT_SOCKETFUNCTION`
callback triggers a use-after-free vulnerability, where libcurl attempts to
store a flag using a dangling struct pointer immediately after that pointer's
memory has been freed. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in radareorg radare2 up to 6.1.6. Affected by this vulnerability is the function r_core_bin_load of the file libr/core/cfile.c. Such manipulation leads to use after free. The attack needs to be performed locally. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The name of the patch is 635ab1eeb30340c26076722a90cb91fb2272130b. Applying a patch is advised to resolve this issue. |
| FreeType commit 22a0cccb4d9d002f33c1ba7a4b36812c7d4f46b5 was discovered to contain a segmentation violation via the function FT_Request_Size. |
| FreeType commit 53dfdcd8198d2b3201a23c4bad9190519ba918db was discovered to contain a segmentation violation via the function FNT_Size_Request. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: phonet: free phonet_device after RCU grace period
phonet_device_destroy() removes a phonet_device from the per-net device
list with list_del_rcu(), but frees it immediately. RCU readers walking
the same list can still hold a pointer to the object after it has been
removed, leading to a slab-use-after-free.
Use kfree_rcu(), matching the lifetime rule already used by
phonet_address_del() for the same object type. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe/display: fix oops in suspend/shutdown without display
The xe driver keeps track of whether to probe display, and whether
display hardware is there, using xe->info.probe_display. It gets set to
false if there's no display after intel_display_device_probe(). However,
the display may also be disabled via fuses, detected at a later time in
intel_display_device_info_runtime_init().
In this case, the xe driver does for_each_intel_crtc() on uninitialized
mode config in xe_display_flush_cleanup_work(), leading to a NULL
pointer dereference, and generally calls display code with display info
cleared.
Check for intel_display_device_present() after
intel_display_device_info_runtime_init(), and reset
xe->info.probe_display as necessary. Also do unset_display_features()
for completeness, although display runtime init has already done
that. This will need to be unified across all cases later.
Move intel_display_device_info_runtime_init() call slightly earlier,
similar to i915, to avoid a bunch of unnecessary setup for no display
cases.
Note #1: The xe driver has no business doing low level display plumbing
like for_each_intel_crtc() to begin with. It all needs to happen in
display code.
Note #2: The actual bug is present already in commit 44e694958b95
("drm/xe/display: Implement display support"), but the oops was likely
introduced later at commit ddf6492e0e50 ("drm/xe/display: Make display
suspend/resume work on discrete").
