CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/rds: handle zerocopy send cleanup before the message is queued
A zerocopy send can fail after user pages have been pinned but before
the message is attached to the sending socket.
The purge path currently infers zerocopy state from rm->m_rs, so an
unqueued message can be cleaned up as if it owned normal payload pages.
However, zerocopy ownership is really determined by the presence of
op_mmp_znotifier, regardless of whether the message has reached the
socket queue.
Capture op_mmp_znotifier up front in rds_message_purge() and use it as
the cleanup discriminator. If the message is already associated with a
socket, keep the existing completion path. Otherwise, drop the pinned
page accounting directly and release the notifier before putting the
payload pages.
This keeps early send failure cleanup consistent with the zerocopy
lifetime rules without changing the normal queued completion path. |
| File Browser through 2.63.23 contains a memory exhaustion vulnerability in the subtitle conversion endpoint that loads entire subtitle files into memory without size limits. Authenticated attackers with download permission can request conversion of large .srt, .ass, or .ssa files and exhaust server memory through concurrent requests, causing denial of service. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Dvidelabs flatcc up to 0.6.3. The impacted element is the function fb_clear_parser of the file src/Compiler/semantics.c. The manipulation leads to memory leak. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier of the patch is 8dbc3419738da066151991fd2bf1d0c85591dea2. It is suggested to install a patch to address this issue. |
| PocketMine-MP before 5.41.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability in LoginPacket processing where large or complex structures in unknown clientData JWT properties cause excessive logging without sanitization. Attackers can send crafted LoginPackets with deeply nested or massive object structures to trigger out-of-memory conditions and crash the server. |
| MOOS core-moos through 10.4.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability in MOOSCommServer::ListenLoop() where the accept thread performs a blocking receive without timeout during the wire-protocol handshake. An attacker can open a TCP connection to the MOOSDB port and send no data, causing the accept thread to block indefinitely while holding the socket-list lock, preventing all subsequent client connections. |
| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Handling of Highly Compressed Data (Data Amplification) vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to denial of service. |
| An issue in Free5GC v.4.2.2 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via the UPF component |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the DDS (Data Distribution Service) standard of the OMG (Object Management Group). Prior to versions 2.6.12, 2.14.6, 3.2.4, and 3.4.3, Fast DDS’s implementation of SQL‑based content filtering (DDSSQLFilter) allows any participant in a DDS domain to remotely crash other Fast DDS participants by sending a single crafted SEDP `DATA` submessage whose `PID_CONTENT_FILTER_PROPERTY.filterExpression` contains a deeply nested filter expression. Versions 2.6.12, 2.14.6, 3.2.4, and 3.4.3 fix the issue. |
| An issue in the Leptonica linked library (v1.79.0) allows attackers to cause an arithmetic exception leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted JPEG file. |
| An issue in GPAC c2dee3aff638cd96f9617ac5b17dc2868cd90ef3 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service via the function gf_route_media_complete_object(). Fixed in 3c4e6c5b3e0c6fa9b16d55599701a08354538fab. |
| MCP Kotlin SDK is the Kotlin Multiplatform software development kit for the Model Context Protocol. In versions 0.7.0 through 0.12.0, `ReadBuffer.append` in `kotlin-sdk-core/src/commonMain/kotlin/io/modelcontextprotocol/kotlin/sdk/shared/ReadBuffer.kt` writes every chunk of bytes received from the stdio transport into a `kotlinx.io.Buffer` with no size cap. Frames are extracted from that buffer only when a `\n` (0x0a) byte is observed. A peer that streams bytes without ever sending a newline causes the internal buffer to grow indefinitely until the JVM (or the surrounding host process) is OOM-killed. The leak is amplified by `StdioServerTransport` and `StdioClientTransport`, which both queue raw chunks through a `kotlinx.coroutines.channels.Channel<ByteArray>(Channel.UNLIMITED)` and then call `readBuffer.append(chunk)` without backpressure or size guard. This is a remote-pre-auth denial of service whenever an SDK stdio server's stdin is fed by an untrusted or attacker-controlled producer (for example: a host program that exec's the MCP server as a subprocess and pipes through bytes received from a network peer, or a sidecar wrapper that proxies bytes from an HTTP endpoint to the stdio transport). Version 0.13.0 fixes the issue. |
| filebrowser through 2.63.23 fails to limit WebSocket message size in the /api/command handler before checking permissions, allowing authenticated users to buffer arbitrarily large messages. Attackers can send oversized WebSocket messages to exhaust server heap memory and cause denial of service regardless of EnableExec setting or Execute permission. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
USB: serial: keyspan_pda: fix information leak
The write() callback is supposed to return the number of characters
accepted or a negative errno. Since the addition of write fifo support
the keyspan_pda implementation will however return the number characters
submitted to the device if the write urb is not already in use. If this
number is larger than the number of characters passed to write(), the
line discipline continues writing data from beyond the tty write buffer.
Fix the information leak by making sure that keyspan_pda_write_start()
returns zero on success as intended. |

| The mcumgr SMP settings-management group handlers settings_mgmt_read(), settings_mgmt_write(), and settings_mgmt_delete() in subsys/mgmt/mcumgr/grp/settings_mgmt/src/settings_mgmt.c allocate a key_name buffer (and, for read, a data buffer) via k_malloc() when CONFIG_MCUMGR_GRP_SETTINGS_BUFFER_TYPE_HEAP is enabled, relying on the end: label to k_free() them. When CONFIG_MCUMGR_GRP_SETTINGS_ACCESS_HOOK is also enabled and the application access hook rejects a request by returning status MGMT_CB_ERROR_RC, the handler executed return ret_rc; directly, bypassing end: and leaking the heap allocation on every rejected request.
The settings handlers are reachable over the unauthenticated SMP transport (Bluetooth LE, UART, or UDP, depending on product configuration). The access hook is the mechanism applications use to deny unauthorized settings access, and MGMT_CB_ERROR_RC is a common rejection style, so an attacker who can send settings read/write/delete commands that the hook rejects triggers a heap leak on each attempt.
Because the leaked memory is never reclaimed until reboot, a sustained stream of rejected requests monotonically exhausts the kernel heap until k_malloc() fails, denying mcumgr service and impacting any other heap consumer on the device — a denial of service. The impact is availability-only; there is no memory corruption or information disclosure. Only configurations that select the heap buffer type, enable the access hook, and register a hook that returns MGMT_CB_ERROR_RC are affected (the default stack buffer type cannot leak). |
| Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.0, 11.8.x <= 11.8.4, 11.7.x <= 11.7.7, 10.11.x <= 10.11.22 fail to limit the amount of memory allocated when decoding uploaded image files which allows an authenticated user to cause excessive server memory consumption and potential denial of service via uploading a specially crafted image as a profile picture, channel file attachment, team icon, or custom brand image. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
of: unittest: Fix memory leak in unittest_data_add()
In unittest_data_add(), if of_resolve_phandles() fails, the allocated
unittest_data is not freed, leading to a memory leak.
Fix this by using scope-based cleanup helper __free(kfree) for automatic
resource cleanup. This ensures unittest_data is automatically freed when
it goes out of scope in error paths.
For the success path, use retain_and_null_ptr() to transfer ownership
of the memory to the device tree and prevent double freeing. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: qla2xxx: Fix memory leak in __qlt_24xx_handle_abts()
Commit 8f394da36a36 ("scsi: qla2xxx: Drop TARGET_SCF_LOOKUP_LUN_FROM_TAG")
made the __qlt_24xx_handle_abts() function return early if
tcm_qla2xxx_find_cmd_by_tag() didn't find a command, but it missed to clean
up the allocated memory for the management command. |
| multer is a Node.js middleware for handling multipart/form-data uploads. In versions 2.2.0 through 2.3.0, when a request using disk storage is aborted mid-upload, file writes that complete after multer has already run its abort cleanup are not removed, so each aborted upload can leave an orphaned file on disk. A remote unauthenticated attacker can repeatedly start and abort uploads to accumulate orphaned files and exhaust disk space, causing a denial of service. The issue is fixed in multer 2.4.0, and users should upgrade to 2.4.0 or later. |
