CVE-2022-50421 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-14 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rpmsg: char: Avoid double destroy of default endpoint The rpmsg_dev_remove() in rpmsg_core is the place for releasing this default endpoint. So need to avoid destroying the default endpoint in rpmsg_chrdev_eptdev_destroy(), this should be the same as rpmsg_eptdev_release(). Otherwise there will be double destroy issue that ept->refcount report warning: refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free. Call trace: refcount_warn_saturate+0xf8/0x150 virtio_rpmsg_destroy_ept+0xd4/0xec rpmsg_dev_remove+0x60/0x70 The issue can be reproduced by stopping remoteproc before closing the /dev/rpmsgX.
CVE-2024-41073 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-01-14 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme: avoid double free special payload If a discard request needs to be retried, and that retry may fail before a new special payload is added, a double free will result. Clear the RQF_SPECIAL_LOAD when the request is cleaned.
CVE-2023-44247 1 Fortinet 1 Fortios 2026-01-14 6.5 Medium
A double free vulnerability [CWE-415] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 6.4 all versions may allow a privileged attacker to execute code or commands via crafted HTTP or HTTPs requests.
CVE-2020-6572 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-01-13 8.8 High
Use after free in Media in Google Chrome prior to 81.0.4044.92 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2025-65955 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-01-13 4.9 Medium
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-9 and 6.9.13-34, there is a vulnerability in ImageMagick’s Magick++ layer that manifests when Options::fontFamily is invoked with an empty string. Clearing a font family calls RelinquishMagickMemory on _drawInfo->font, freeing the font string but leaving _drawInfo->font pointing to freed memory while _drawInfo->family is set to that (now-invalid) pointer. Any later cleanup or reuse of _drawInfo->font re-frees or dereferences dangling memory. DestroyDrawInfo and other setters (Options::font, Image::font) assume _drawInfo->font remains valid, so destruction or subsequent updates trigger crashes or heap corruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.1.2-9 and 6.9.13-34.
CVE-2025-39871 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-11 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: idxd: Remove improper idxd_free The call to idxd_free() introduces a duplicate put_device() leading to a reference count underflow: refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free. WARNING: CPU: 15 PID: 4428 at lib/refcount.c:28 refcount_warn_saturate+0xbe/0x110 ... If idxd_free() is called immediately after, it can result in a use-after-free. Remove the improper idxd_free() to avoid both the refcount underflow and potential memory corruption during module unload.

CVE-2025-38500 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-01-07 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: interface: fix use-after-free after changing collect_md xfrm interface collect_md property on xfrm interfaces can only be set on device creation, thus xfrmi_changelink() should fail when called on such interfaces. The check to enforce this was done only in the case where the xi was returned from xfrmi_locate() which doesn't look for the collect_md interface, and thus the validation was never reached. Calling changelink would thus errornously place the special interface xi in the xfrmi_net->xfrmi hash, but since it also exists in the xfrmi_net->collect_md_xfrmi pointer it would lead to a double free when the net namespace was taken down [1]. Change the check to use the xi from netdev_priv which is available earlier in the function to prevent changes in xfrm collect_md interfaces. CVE-2025-15269 1 Fontforge 1 Fontforge 2026-01-07 8.8 High
FontForge SFD File Parsing Use-After-Free Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of FontForge. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of SFD files. The issue results from the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing operations on the object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Was ZDI-CAN-28564.

CVE-2024-39496 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-01-06 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: zoned: fix use-after-free due to race with dev replace While loading a zone's info during creation of a block group, we can race with a device replace operation and then trigger a use-after-free on the device that was just replaced (source device of the replace operation). This happens because at btrfs_load_zone_info() we extract a device from the chunk map into a local variable and then use the device while not under the protection of the device replace rwsem. So if there's a device replace operation happening when we extract the device and that device is the source of the replace operation, we will trigger a use-after-free if before we finish using the device the replace operation finishes and frees the device. Fix this by enlarging the critical section under the protection of the device replace rwsem so that all uses of the device are done inside the critical section.

CVE-2025-55309 3 Apple, Foxit, Microsoft 4 Macos, Pdf Editor, Pdf Reader and 1 more 2026-01-06 6.7 Medium
An issue was discovered in Foxit PDF and Editor for Windows and macOS before 13.2 and 2025 before 2025.2. A crafted PDF can contain JavaScript that attaches an OnBlur action on a form field that destroys an annotation. During user right-click interaction, the program's internal focus change handling prematurely releases the annotation object, resulting in a use-after-free vulnerability that may cause memory corruption or application crashes.
CVE-2025-55308 2 Foxit, Microsoft 3 Pdf Editor, Pdf Reader, Windows 2026-01-06 6.7 Medium
An issue was discovered in Foxit PDF and Editor for Windows before 13.2 and 2025 before 2025.2. A crafted PDF containing JavaScript that calls closeDoc() while internal objects are still in use can cause premature release of these objects. This use-after-free vulnerability may lead to memory corruption, potentially resulting in information disclosure when the PDF is opened.
CVE-2025-48769 1 Apache 1 Nuttx 2026-01-06 5.3 Medium
Use After Free vulnerability was discovered in fs/vfs/fs_rename code of the Apache NuttX RTOS, that due recursive implementation and single buffer use by two different pointer variables allowed arbitrary user provided size buffer reallocation and write to the previously freed heap chunk, that in specific cases could cause unintended virtual filesystem rename/move operation results. This issue affects Apache NuttX RTOS: from 7.20 before 12.11.0. Users of virtual filesystem based services with write access especially when exposed over the network (i.e. FTP) are affected and recommended to upgrade to version 12.11.0 that fixes the issue.
