CVE-2026-55692 1 Starcitizenwiki 1 Mediawiki-extensions-embedvideo 2026-09-17 7.5 High
The EmbedVideo Extension is a MediaWiki extension which adds a parser function called #ev and various parser tags for embedding video clips from various video sharing services. Prior to 4.1.0, with the default $wgEmbedVideoRequireConsent configuration enabled, includes/EmbedService/EmbedHtmlFormatter.php places JSON returned through includes/EmbedService/AbstractEmbedService.php into the data-mw-iframeconfig attribute without safely escaping single quotes. Attacker-controlled archiveorg identifiers and wistia or sharepoint URLs accepted by the affected service validators can cause getUrl() output to terminate the attribute and inject event-handler attributes into the generated figure element. A user able to edit a wiki page can store JavaScript that executes in the wiki origin when visitors render the page. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.0.
CVE-2026-55690 1 Starcitizenwiki 1 Mediawiki-extensions-embedvideo 2026-09-17 7.5 High
The EmbedVideo Extension is a MediaWiki extension which adds a parser function called #ev and various parser tags for embedding video clips from various video sharing services. Prior to 4.1.0, EmbedServiceFactory::newFromName in includes/EmbedService/EmbedServiceFactory.php interpolates an attacker-controlled unknown service name into exception text, and includes/EmbedVideo.php returns that text as HTML through the isHtml output path without neutralization. Both the #ev parser function and the evl parser form can reach this error path. A user able to edit a wiki page can inject stored HTML or JavaScript into the error output, causing code to execute in the wiki origin for visitors who render the page. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.0.
CVE-2026-55691 1 Starcitizenwiki 1 Mediawiki-extensions-embedvideo 2026-09-17 8.6 High
The EmbedVideo Extension is a MediaWiki extension which adds a parser function called #ev and various parser tags for embedding video clips from various video sharing services. Prior to 4.1.0, EmbedHtmlFormatter::toHtml in includes/EmbedService/EmbedHtmlFormatter.php passes the user-supplied class value directly to sprintf while constructing a figure element. A quote in the class value can terminate the class attribute and inject arbitrary HTML attributes or markup into the rendered page. A user able to edit a wiki page can store JavaScript that executes for visitors who render the affected content. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.0.
CVE-2026-59160 1 Deryeger 1 Yeger 2026-09-17 8.8 High
Yeger is a monorepo for npm packages maintained under the yeger scope. Prior to 2.8.9, the turbo-graph package starts its embedded Next.js server from packages/turbo-graph/src/index.ts on all interfaces, including 0.0.0.0:29312 by default, while the GET handler for /api/run in packages/turbo-graph-ui/app/api/run/route.ts has no authentication, authorization, CSRF protection, or task allowlist. The handler accepts the tasks, filter, and force query parameters, and buildResponseFromArgs passes attacker-selected task names to spawn() as Turbo CLI arguments. An adjacent-network attacker can execute any task defined in the victim repository's turbo.json with the privileges of the developer OS user, potentially exposing secrets, modifying files or infrastructure, or causing destructive availability effects. The use of an argument array prevents traditional shell metacharacter injection but does not prevent unauthorized execution of defined tasks. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.9.
CVE-2026-54503 1 Plone 1 Plone.app.textfield 2026-09-17 4.3 Medium
plone.app.textfield provides a zope.schema-style field type called RichText for storing a value with a related MIME type. Prior to 2.0.2, 3.0.2, and 4.0.1, depending on the release line, RichTextValue.output returns an unsanitized stored RichText value when mimeType equals outputMimeType, including values that claim the text/x-html-safe output type. This equality shortcut bypasses the safe_html transform even though the transform itself correctly removes event-handler attributes and unsafe URI schemes. Equal types can result from a RichText field configured with the same mimeType and outputMimeType or from REST API input that supplies text/x-html-safe as its content type. The raw stored value is then emitted through tal:content=structure without escaping, allowing a user who can set a RichText field to store JavaScript that executes in a viewer's browser. This issue is fixed in versions 2.0.2, 3.0.2, and 4.0.1.
CVE-2026-58201 1 Merill 1 Lokka 2026-09-17 N/A
Lokka is a Model Context Protocol server for Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Graph and other services. Prior to 2.1.2, the Lokka-Microsoft tool in src/mcp/src/main.ts uses direct URL string concatenation to append the user-controlled path value to the management.azure.com base URL. A specially crafted path can alter URL authority parsing and cause an Azure Resource Manager bearer token to be sent to an unintended host. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.2.
CVE-2026-48785 1 Apptainer 1 Apptainer 2026-09-17 4.8 Medium
Apptainer is an open source container platform. Prior to version 1.5.1, Image.AuthorizedPath applies plain string-prefix matching to the limit container paths directive in apptainer.conf, so an allowed path such as /data/safe also authorizes a sibling path such as /data/safe-but-unsafe. A local user can consequently run a container from a directory outside the administrator's intended allowlist when Apptainer operates in setuid mode. Installations that do not use setuid mode or do not configure limit container paths are not affected, and unrestricted user namespaces already allow users to run containers of their choice. This issue is fixed in version 1.5.1.
CVE-2026-55375 1 Jleehr 1 Canto-saas-api 2026-09-17 5.3 Medium
canto-saas-api is a PHP library for interacting with the Canto SaaS API. Prior to version 3.0.0, OAuth2Request::getQueryParams() places app_id, app_secret, refresh_token, and code in the URL query string of token POST requests, allowing access logs, proxy logs, and APM traces to persist the credentials in plaintext. When a token request fails, OAuth2::obtainAccessToken() also passes the credential-bearing Guzzle request URI into AuthorizationFailedException, so application logs and error trackers can record the same secrets. An attacker with access to affected telemetry can obtain Canto credentials and use them to request access tokens for the tenant. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.0.
CVE-2026-55374 1 Jleehr 1 Canto-saas-api 2026-09-17 4.8 Medium
canto-saas-api is a PHP library for interacting with the Canto SaaS API. Prior to version 3.0.0, Request::buildRequestUrl() joins values returned by Request::getPathVariables() without encoding individual path segments, including the scheme and contentId values used by GetContentDetailsRequest. When a consuming application supplies an untrusted path variable value, path traversal sequences, query delimiters, or fragment delimiters can change the destination endpoint before AbstractEndpoint::sendRequest() attaches the configured authentication token. An attacker who controls that path variable value through the consuming application can cause unintended reads or writes with the configured application's privileges on the same Canto instance, but applications that pass only trusted and validated identifiers are not exploitable. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.0.
CVE-2026-58502 1 Gouef 1 Githubtoplanguages 2026-09-17 N/A
githubtoplanguages generates a user's top GitHub languages as an SVG. The .github/workflows/discord-issue.yml workflow runs when an issue is opened or closed and interpolates github.event.issue.title directly into the Bash assignment for ISSUE_TITLE before shell parsing. An issue title containing shell command-substitution syntax can therefore execute commands on the GitHub Actions runner before the title is included in the Discord notification sent through DISCORD_WEBHOOK. Successful exploitation can manipulate or spoof trusted bot notifications and may expose the Discord webhook secret or other workflow environment data, depending on repository permissions. This issue is fixed by commit 6bf9c3a9cb66c937b9047ca266b3d02f2bb11027.
CVE-2026-54689 1 Ihor-sokoliuk 1 Mcp-searxng 2026-09-17 6.3 Medium
mcp-searxng is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants web search and URL-reading capabilities through SearXNG. Prior to 1.2.0, the web_url_read URL policy in src/url-reader.ts can be bypassed while MCP_HTTP_HARDEN is enabled and MCP_HTTP_ALLOW_PRIVATE_URLS is not enabled because redirect targets are not revalidated, 0.0.0.0 is not classified as an internal address, and IPv4-mapped IPv6 literals canonicalized to hexadecimal form are not recognized. These inputs allow an attacker-influenced tool call to make the MCP server fetch loopback or internal HTTP resources and return content from local services, private APIs, service-mesh endpoints, or cloud metadata endpoints. The separate hostname-to-private-address case addressed by the earlier partial fix is not part of these residual bypasses. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.0.
CVE-2026-54688 1 Ihor-sokoliuk 1 Mcp-searxng 2026-09-17 6.5 Medium
mcp-searxng is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants web search and URL-reading capabilities through SearXNG. Prior to 1.2.0, web_url_read passes a caller-supplied URL to the server-side fetch path while assertUrlAllowed() in src/url-reader.ts runs only when MCP_HTTP_HARDEN is enabled, even though MCP_HTTP_HARDEN is disabled by default in src/http-security.ts. In the default configuration, an attacker who influences the URL selected by a user or AI agent can make the server fetch loopback, private-network, or cloud metadata endpoint resources and return their contents into the model context. file:// URLs remain rejected, and the separate DNS-resolution and redirect-validation bypasses are outside this record. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.0.
CVE-2026-58485 1 Ihor-sokoliuk 1 Mcp-searxng 2026-09-17 7.1 High
mcp-searxng is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants web search and URL-reading capabilities through SearXNG. Prior to 1.7.1, web_url_read receives its caller-controlled URL through src/index.ts and validates only the literal hostname in assertUrlAllowed() within src/url-reader.ts before undiciFetch() performs operating-system DNS resolution. A public-looking attacker-controlled hostname that resolves to a private, loopback, link-local, or cloud-metadata address therefore passes the lexical check and causes the MCP server to connect to the internal destination. In the default HTTP configuration, an unauthenticated network client can use this path to read internal services, expose credentials or service tokens, and enumerate reachable internal hosts; in STDIO deployments, prompt-influenced tool selection can provide the malicious URL. Direct private IP literals are blocked, and MCP_HTTP_ALLOW_PRIVATE_URLS remains an explicit opt-out. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.1.
CVE-2026-40058 1 Crowdstrike 3 Cslarouxcleanuptool, Falcon, Falcon Sensor For Windows 2026-09-17 8.8 High
CrowdStrike released a security update to address a vulnerability in the Falcon sensor for Windows. The vulnerability only exists when the Microsoft Office File Malicious Macro Removal Windows policy setting is enabled and customers remain protected through the Cloud Anti-malware for Microsoft Office Files settings. An update is available immediately for versions 7.34 and above, 7.32 LTS, and 7.16 for Windows 7/2008 R2 systems. The Falcon sensor for Mac, Linux, and Legacy Systems are not affected.  This vulnerability could expose an arbitrary file write to protected locations from an unprivileged context, potentially leading to local privilege escalation. The CrowdStrike Laroux Malware Cleanup Tool, based off of the same feature in the CrowdStrike Falcon sensor for Windows, is also affected. An update for this tool is also available immediately.
CVE-2026-58483 1 Ihor-sokoliuk 1 Mcp-searxng 2026-09-17 7.5 High
mcp-searxng is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants web search and URL-reading capabilities through SearXNG. Prior to 1.7.1, web_url_read in src/index.ts passes a caller-supplied URL to readUrlContent() in src/url-reader.ts, where checkContentLength() treats a missing Content-Length header as an inconclusive preflight and the normal and error paths then consume the complete body with response.text(). A server that omits Content-Length can therefore bypass URL_READ_MAX_CONTENT_LENGTH_BYTES and force unbounded memory use. The resulting string is also processed by NodeHtmlMarkdown.translate(), increasing CPU consumption and allowing an unauthenticated HTTP client to cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.1.
CVE-2026-57441 1 Bitbonsai 1 Mcpvault 2026-09-17 N/A
MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault. Prior to 0.11.4, PathFilter in src/pathfilter.ts compiles restricted-directory patterns case-sensitively and compares paths without canonicalizing filesystem-equivalent segment names. On case-insensitive macOS and Windows filesystems, case variants of .git, .obsidian, or node_modules pass both isAllowed() and isAllowedForListing() even though the operating system opens the restricted directory, and Windows trailing dots or spaces provide the same bypass. An attacker who influences a path selected by an AI agent can use the bypass in read, write, move, search, or listing operations to expose or modify sensitive repository and Obsidian metadata. Vault-root .. containment is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.4.
CVE-2026-67643 1 Microsoft 6 Microsoft Sql Server 2022 (cu 26), Microsoft Sql Server 2022 (gdr), Microsoft Sql Server 2025 (cu8) and 3 more 2026-09-17 9.8 Critical
Heap-based buffer overflow in SQL Server allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
CVE-2026-67636 1 Microsoft 3 Sql Server 2019, Sql Server 2022, Sql Server 2025 2026-09-17 9 Critical
Out-of-bounds read in SQL Server allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
CVE-2026-57442 1 Bitbonsai 1 Mcpvault 2026-09-17 N/A
MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault. Prior to 0.11.5, PathFilter in src/pathfilter.ts uses root-anchored deny-list patterns, so nested .git, .obsidian, and node_modules path segments do not match the restriction and pass both isAllowed() and isAllowedForListing(). An attacker who influences a path selected by an AI agent can traverse nested repository or Obsidian metadata, read remote URLs or embedded tokens, or cause nested node_modules content to pollute the listAllTags index. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.5.
CVE-2026-19773 1 Libwebsockets 1 Libwebsockets 2026-09-17 N/A
libwebsockets HTTP/2 HPACK Path Header Parsing Out-Of-Bounds Write Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of libwebsockets. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of HTTP/2 HPACK path header. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a write past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-31036.
