CVSS v3.1 |
Unauthenticated Path Traversal in WP EasyPay <= 4.5.4 versions.
Unauthenticated Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in BA Book Everything <= 1.8.33 versions.
Subscriber PHP Object Injection in Enable Media Replace <= 4.2.2 versions.
Tesseract is an open source OCR engine. From 5.4.0 until 5.5.4, AppendLinePolygon in src/api/pagerenderer.cpp destroys the caller-owned right-to-left Pta accumulator while receiving it by value, leaving line_top_rtl_pts and line_bottom_rtl_pts dangling. On an upright Hebrew or Arabic page at the default PAGE XML level, POLYGONFLAG with a false skewed_flag enters the vulnerable calls, while LEVELFLAG greater than zero provides an alternative gate. The calls repeatedly read and free the stale object, causing a double free and use after free and allowing corrupted coordinates to reach RecalcPolygonline. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.4.
Tesseract is an open source OCR engine. Prior to 5.5.4, GENERIC_2D_ARRAY::DeSerializeSize in src/ccstruct/matrix.h reads matrix dimensions as signed int32_t values and compares them only with UINT16_MAX, allowing negative values to reach ResizeNoInit. Negative dimensions or a 65535 by 65535 product can create inconsistent allocation state and later out-of-bounds accesses while loading a crafted traineddata file, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.4.
Tesseract is an open source OCR engine. Prior to 5.5.4, ReadAdaptedClass in src/classify/adaptive.cpp raw-reads an ADAPT_CLASS_STRUCT from a pre-adapted-template .a file without neutralizing TempProtos and Config pointer fields before any destructor path. When the legacy engine is selected, classify_use_pre_adapted_templates is enabled, and an attacker can write the output-basename .a file, the success or rejection path can pass file-controlled pointers to ~ADAPT_CLASS_STRUCT and operator delete, causing memory corruption and denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.4.
Pi-hole is a DNS sinkhole that protects devices from unwanted content without installing any client-side software. From 6.4.2 until 6.5, the root-run advanced/Scripts/updatecheck.sh cron job applies truncate -s 0 and chmod 644 to /etc/pihole/versions while following symbolic links in a directory owned by the pihole user. An attacker executing as pihole can replace that path with a symlink so the scheduled root operations truncate or create an arbitrary root-owned file, or race the operations so chmod makes a sensitive target world-readable without truncating it. This issue is fixed in version 6.5.
OpenVM is a performant and modular zkVM framework built for customization and extensibility. Before 1.7.0 in the 1.x line and in affected 2.0 and 2.1 prereleases, `OpenVmHalo2Verifier.verify` constructs raw proof calldata from user-controlled `proofData`, performs a `staticcall` to `address(this)`, and treats a successful call as proof acceptance. If the first four proof bytes match another external selector exposed by the wrapper, dispatch can invoke a successful non-verifier function instead of the generated Halo2 fallback verifier. Applications using the generated Solidity wrapper can consequently accept arbitrary app commitments and public values without checking the proof suffix, accumulator, app commitments or public values. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.0, 2.0.0-rc.3 and 2.1.0-preview.
Refitter is a tool for generating a C# REST API client using the Refit library. Prior to 2.1.2, OpenAPI `paths`-object keys are emitted verbatim into Refit route attributes such as `[Get("<path>")]` without escaping quotation marks or restricting characters. An attacker-influenced single-line, slash-prefixed path survives default validation without `--skip-validation` and can close the attribute string, interface, and namespace while introducing a top-level file class and reopening the generated structure to keep valid C#. A `[ModuleInitializer]` method executes attacker code when an application compiles and loads the generated assembly at startup, even without calling the generated client. The enum and default value sinks are escaped and are not the vulnerable path-emission sink. The behavior was verified on Refitter 2.0.0 with .NET 8. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.2.
sevenz-rust2 is a Rust-native 7z compressor and `decompress`or. Prior to 0.21.1, extracting an attacker-supplied 7z archive can write or overwrite files outside the destination directory. In `src/util/decompress.rs`, `decompress_impl` computes each destination with `dest.join(entry.name())` without normalizing the archive's UTF-16 entry name or verifying containment, and `default_entry_extract_fn` writes to it with `File::create`. Parent-directory components escape the extraction root, and an absolute entry path makes the join discard the destination entirely. The convenience entry points `decompress`, `decompress_file`, `decompress_with_password`, and `decompress_file_with_password` all use this default path. Overwriting writable configuration, startup, cron, or build files can lead to code execution or persistence. The archive bytes are the attacker-controlled trust boundary, including for applications that automatically unpack uploaded or otherwise untrusted archives. This issue is fixed in version 0.21.1.
Aedes is an MQTT broker that can run on any stream server. Prior to 1.1.1, the MQTT broker does not bound topic depth or structural complexity before passing topics through `mqemitter` into `qlobber`. A `PUBLISH`, `SUBSCRIBE`, or registered `Will` message containing an excessively deep topic can reach `qlobber._split_words` in `lib/qlobber.js` and trigger an uncaught `too many words` exception. Calls from `handlers/subscribe.js` and the publishing logic are not protected against that exception, so it escapes to the `Node.js event loop` and terminates the entire broker. The `Will` path is independently reachable when a client disconnects ungracefully: it calls `broker.publish` directly and bypasses the `PUBLISH` handler. An attacker must be able to establish an `MQTT session`, authenticated or unauthenticated according to broker configuration. A successful attack disconnects all legitimate clients and prevents reconnection until the broker process restarts. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.1.
Kubewarden policies is a collection of WebAssembly policies for securing and governing Kubernetes clusters. For versions provisionally classified as affected before 2.1.2, `trusted-repos-policy` compares an image's `registry` hostname against `reject lists` and `allow lists` case-sensitively even though `registry` DNS names are case-insensitive. An image with an uppercase or mixed-case `registry` hostname can miss a rejection rule for the equivalent lowercase host, so the admission policy accepts a resource whose container runtime pulls the same prohibited image. Only reject-list configurations have this bypass: allow-list configurations fail closed by over-denying differently cased hostnames. The security consequences depend on the configured rejection policy and deployment environment. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.2.
A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in Cyrus SASL. The add_to_challenge() function in the DIGEST-MD5 plugin computes the size of the buffer needed for a challenge/response field before DIGEST-MD5 quoting is applied, but does not recompute that size when quoting (escaping special characters) makes the value longer. The under-sized buffer is then passed to strcat(), causing a heap-based out-of-bounds write whose size depends on attacker-controlled input. A malicious or on-path DIGEST-MD5 (or HTTP Digest) server can trigger this flaw in a connecting client by supplying a crafted challenge field, such as realm or nonce, most likely resulting in a crash of the client application.
OpenRemote is an open-source internet-of-things platform. Prior to 1.26.0, the `datapoint export` API constructs `CSV crosstab` SQL by concatenating an `asset name` and `attribute name` into a `COPY` query that uses `crosstab` and streams `TO STDOUT`. The `asset name` enters both a double-quoted column identifier and a category query enclosed by the fixed `$cat$` delimiter. Escaping single quotes in one string context does not escape embedded double quotes in identifiers or protect that dollar-quote boundary. An authenticated user permitted to create or rename an asset and read/export datapoints for one of its attributes can store SQL metacharacters in the name and request a `crosstab` export, causing injected SELECT output to be returned in the normal ZIP/CSV response. This enables database exfiltration without direct database or filesystem access or token forgery. In a multi-tenant deployment it can expose other tenants' data if the manager's database role can read shared tables; integrity and availability effects are not established by the demonstrated read primitive. This issue is fixed in version 1.26.0.
Netopeer2 is a server for implementing network configuration management based on the `NETCONF` Protocol. In affected versions, a low-privileged authenticated `NETCONF` user can remotely crash `netopeer2-server` by sending a `get RPC` with an invalid `subtree filter` whose text contains format specifiers. In `src/netconf.c`, `np2srv_rpc_get_cb()` sends the invalid value through `ERR()` to `np2log_printf()`, where `vsnprintf()` first formats the message safely. In `src/log.c`, that already formatted buffer is subsequently passed to `np2log()` as the format string itself, causing `vsyslog()` to interpret attacker-controlled percent sequences and read invalid pointer arguments. The reported denial of service was confirmed on version 2.8.7 using `NETCONF`-over-SSH and AddressSanitizer; reliable remote code execution was not confirmed. `The advisory identifies 2.8.8 as patched`; repository comparisons verify the fix in public release 2.8.21. The affected/fixed boundary remains unresolved because no public 2.8.8 tag was located, which does not establish the status of an untagged 2.8.8 build.
uhttpd is a small HTTP server. In unpatched repository snapshots, `client_parse_header()` in `client.c` lowercases header names but compares the `Transfer-Encoding` value to `chunked` using case-sensitive `strcmp`. A mixed-case transfer-coding token is accepted without enabling `r->transfer_chunked`, despite transfer-coding tokens being case-insensitive. On a keep-alive connection, the `chunked` POST body is left unread and request-shaped body bytes are parsed as another HTTP request, permitting HTTP request smuggling and boundary desynchronization. Commits ae015e099986ceace44975cb69629841a2d58d37 and 6641b050e5f7c7fd9ae92e8e119d6d6dfc6e9837 patch the issue.
uhttpd is a small HTTP server. In unpatched repository snapshots, `client_poll_post_data()` in `client.c` consumes an invalid chunk-length line, such as a size exceeding INT_MAX, then clears `r->content_length` and `r->transfer_chunked` without draining the remaining body or setting `request.connection_close`. The completion check treats the chunked POST as finished and the keep-alive parser returns to `CLIENT_STATE_INIT`. Attacker-controlled body bytes aligned as a complete HTTP request are then parsed and processed as another request on the same connection, causing HTTP request smuggling and request-boundary desynchronization. Commits b78f518478794e16ba3568fc1258e40bf3e8eb3b and 34460b8211d676ef1b9f40d6b775c5e112933690 patch the issue.
Command injection vulnerabilities exist in the affected interface of AOS-10 that could allow an unauthenticated adjacent attacker to perform command injection. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands as a privileged user on the underlying operating system.
Vulnerability in Drupal ECA Helper. This issue affects ECA Helper versions: *.*.
OpenVM is a performant and modular zkVM framework built for customization and extensibility. Before 1.7.0 in the 1.x line and in affected 2.0 and 2.1 prereleases, `OpenVmHalo2Verifier.verify` accepts `appExeCommit` and `appVmCommit` as `bytes32` values without checking that either is less than the `BN254` scalar field modulus. Although public-value and proof-data lengths are checked, callers can provide non-canonical 256-bit encodings greater than or equal to that modulus at the Solidity wrapper boundary. Applications relying on the wrapper can therefore accept non-canonical app executable and app VM commitments, creating ambiguity between the supplied byte-level values and the field elements used by the verifier. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.0, 2.0.0-rc.3 and 2.1.0-preview.
