| AnyIO is a high level asynchronous concurrency and networking framework that works on top of either Trio or asyncio. In 4.14.0, AnyIO accepts the POSIX extra_groups argument in anyio.run_process() and anyio.open_process(), but open_process() forwards the group argument to the backend instead of extra_groups. A caller that supplies extra_groups=[] to clear inherited supplementary groups can therefore launch a child that retains the parent process groups, undermining a privilege-dropping boundary. If group is also supplied, the integer group value is passed where an iterable of supplementary groups is expected and the launch can fail with TypeError. This issue affects POSIX applications that rely on AnyIO subprocess helpers to launch less-privileged child processes. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.2. |
| zot is a container image and artifact registry based on the Open Container Initiative Distribution Specification. Prior to 2.1.18, the bearer authentication handler in pkg/api/authn.go maps every HTTP method other than GET and HEAD to the push action, so DELETE requests are not checked for the distinct delete permission. Bearer-authenticated requests also bypass the fine-grained DistSpecAuthzHandler path in pkg/api/authz.go, while DeleteManifest and DeleteBlob perform no independent delete-permission check. A remote attacker with a bearer token limited to pull and push actions can therefore delete manifests and blobs within the token's repository scope, making images unavailable and allowing repository history to be altered despite the token lacking delete authorization. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.18. |
| OpenImageIO is a toolset for reading, writing, and manipulating image files of any image file format relevant to VFX / animation. Prior to 3.0.20.0, 3.1.15.0, and 3.2.0.3-beta1, A crafted cineon file can supply a numberofelements value greater than the format maximum of eight. cineoninput::open() uses that unchecked value as the loop bound while filling the fixed strings[8] array, writing pointers beyond the stack buffer and into adjacent state, resulting in memory corruption and denial of service. The affected implementation is identified by src/cineon.imageio/cineoninput.cpp, CineonInput::open(), numberOfElements, and strings[8], which define the relevant source path, functions, state, and trigger. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.20.0, 3.1.15.0, and 3.2.0.3-beta1. |
| ToolHive is a utility designed to simplify the deployment and management of Model Context Protocol servers. Prior to ToolHive CLI 0.30.1 and ToolHive Studio 0.38.0, locally run MCP server containers use the default network permission profile without network isolation, permitting access to host.docker.internal while ToolHive API and MCP proxy endpoints are reachable without authentication. A malicious or compromised MCP server can use the Docker gateway to contact host-local services, other ToolHive-managed MCP proxies, or the ToolHive control plane without escaping the container. This access can expose data and logs, invoke sibling MCP tools, alter process or workload state, and disrupt services. ToolHive Studio additionally sends network_isolation as false and overrides the backend's secure isolation default. This issue is fixed in ToolHive CLI 0.30.1 and ToolHive Studio 0.38.0. |
| virtio-win provides Windows paravirtualized drivers for QEMU and KVM. From mm210 until mm320, the Viosock driver permits a low-privilege local process to submit an IOCTL_SELECT request with attacker-controlled VIRTIO_VSOCK_SELECT.Fdss[*].fd_count values that overflow the 32-bit sum used by VIOSockSelect for bounds checking. The wrapped sum can pass the FD_SETSIZE check even though an individual descriptor count is much larger than the expected limit. VIOSockSelectCopyFds then iterates using the unchecked count and writes beyond the allocated pPkt->Fds array in the NonPagedPool kernel heap. Successful exploitation can corrupt kernel memory and enable privilege escalation in a Windows guest running the driver. This issue is fixed in mm320. |
| For performance reasons Zabbix Server/Proxy reuses JavaScript (Duktape) contexts (used in script items, JavaScript reprocessing, Webhooks). This can lead to confidentiality loss where a regular (non-super) Zabbix administrator leaks data for hosts they do not have access to. A fix has been released that makes the built in Zabbix JavaScript objects read-only, but please be advised that usage of global JavaScript variables is not recommended because their content could be leaked. | Zabbix Agent 2 Docker plugin does not properly sanitize the 'docker.container_info' parameters when forwarding them to the Docker daemon. An attacker capable of invoking Agent 2 can read arbitrary files from running Docker containers by injecting them via the Docker archive API. |
