CVSS v3.1 |
| The V8 release used in Node.js v24.0.0 has changed how string hashes are computed using rapidhash. This implementation re-introduces the HashDoS vulnerability as an attacker who can control the strings to be hashed can generate many hash collisions - an attacker can generate collisions even without knowing the hash-seed.
* This vulnerability affects Node.js v24.x users. |
| Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - IPInfo Extension allows Excessive Allocation. This issue affects Mediawiki - IPInfo Extension: from 1.39.X before 1.39.13, from 1.42.X before 1.42.7, from 1.43.X before 1.43.2. |
| All versions of the package @discordjs/opus are vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) due to providing an input object with a property toString to several different functions. Exploiting this vulnerability could lead to a system crash. |
| nimiq/core-rs-albatross is a Rust implementation of the Nimiq Proof-of-Stake protocol based on the Albatross consensus algorithm. The `nimiq-network-libp2p` subcrate of nimiq/core-rs-albatross is vulnerable to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack due to uncontrolled memory allocation. Specifically, the implementation of the `Discovery` network message handling allocates a buffer based on a length value provided by the peer, without enforcing an upper bound. Since this length is a `u32`, a peer can trigger allocations of up to 4 GB, potentially leading to memory exhaustion and node crashes. As Discovery messages are regularly exchanged for peer discovery, this vulnerability can be exploited repeatedly. The patch for this vulnerability is formally released as part of v1.1.0. The patch implements a limit to the discovery message size of 1 MB and also resizes the message buffer size incrementally as the data is read. No known workarounds are available. |
| An issue in the HistoryQosPolicy component of FastDDS v2.12.x, v2.11.x, v2.10.x, and v2.6.x leads to a SIGABRT (signal abort) upon receiving DataWriter's data. |
| A vulnerability was found in PyTorch 2.6.0+cu124. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function torch.cuda.nccl.reduce of the file torch/cuda/nccl.py. The manipulation leads to denial of service. It is possible to launch the attack on the local host. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The patch is identified as 5827d2061dcb4acd05ac5f8e65d8693a481ba0f5. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. |
| In Helix Core versions prior to 2024.2, an unauthenticated remote Denial of Service (DoS) via the shutdown function was identified. Reported by Karol Więsek. |
| oidcc is the OpenID Connect client library for Erlang. Denial of Service (DoS) by Atom exhaustion is possible by calling `oidcc_provider_configuration_worker:get_provider_configuration/1` or `oidcc_provider_configuration_worker:get_jwks/1`. This issue has been patched in version(s)`3.1.2` & `3.2.0-beta.3`. |
| In Helix Core versions prior to 2024.2, an unauthenticated remote Denial of Service (DoS) via the refuse function was identified. Reported by Karol Więsek. |
| ajv (Another JSON Schema Validator) before 8.18.0 is vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) when the $data option is enabled. The pattern keyword accepts runtime data via JSON Pointer syntax ($data reference), which is passed directly to the JavaScript RegExp() constructor without validation. An attacker can inject a malicious regex pattern (e.g., "^(a|a)*$") combined with crafted input to cause catastrophic backtracking. A 31-character payload causes approximately 44 seconds of CPU blocking, with each additional character doubling execution time. This enables complete denial of service with a single HTTP request against any API using ajv with $data: true for dynamic schema validation. This issue is also fixed in version 6.14.0. |
| A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in INW Krbyyyzo 25.2002. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /gbo.aspx of the component Daily Huddle Site. The manipulation of the argument s leads to resource consumption. It is possible to launch the attack on the local host. Other endpoints might be affected as well. |
| A prototype pollution in the lib.post function of ajax-request v1.2.3 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted payload. |
| An issue in OpenStack Storlets yoga-eom allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the gateway.py component. |
| A prototype pollution in the lib.merge function of xe-utils v3.5.31 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted payload. |
| kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. Prior to 0.131.0, when validating a request with a multipart/form-data schema, if the OpenAPI schema allows it, an attacker can upload a crafted ZIP file (e.g., a ZIP bomb), causing the server to consume all available system memory. The root cause comes from the ZipFileBodyDecoder, which is registered automatically by the module (contrary to what the documentation says). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.131.0. |
| An issue was found in the CPython `zipfile` module affecting versions 3.12.1, 3.11.7, 3.10.13, 3.9.18, and 3.8.18 and prior.
The zipfile module is vulnerable to “quoted-overlap” zip-bombs which exploit the zip format to create a zip-bomb with a high compression ratio. The fixed versions of CPython makes the zipfile module reject zip archives which overlap entries in the archive.

| In FRRouting (FRR) before 10.3 from 6.0 onward, all routes are re-validated if the total size of an update received via RTR exceeds the internal socket's buffer size, default 4K on most OSes. An attacker can use this to trigger re-parsing of the RIB for FRR routers using RTR by causing more than this number of updates during an update interval (usually 30 minutes). Additionally, this effect regularly occurs organically. Furthermore, an attacker can use this to trigger route validation continuously. Given that routers with large full tables may need more than 30 minutes to fully re-validate the table, continuous issuance/withdrawal of large numbers of ROA may be used to impact the route handling performance of all FRR instances using RPKI globally. Additionally, the re-validation will cause heightened BMP traffic to ingestors. Fixed Versions: 10.0.3, 10.1.2, 10.2.1, >= 10.3. |
| A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in actions toolkit 0.5.0. This affects the function globEscape of the file toolkit/packages/glob/src/internal-pattern.ts of the component glob. The manipulation leads to inefficient regular expression complexity. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. |
| A vulnerability was found in RefindPlusRepo RefindPlus 0.14.2.AB. It has been classified as problematic. This affects the function InternalApfsTranslateBlock of the file Library/RP_ApfsLib/RP_ApfsIo.c. The manipulation leads to null pointer dereference. It is possible to launch the attack on the local host. The patch is named 4d35125ca689a255647e9033dd60c257d26df7cb. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. |
