CVSS v3.1 |
| The OCPP 1.6 client in subsys/net/lib/ocpp parsed inbound WAMP RPC frames in parse_rpc_msg() (subsys/net/lib/ocpp/ocpp_j.c) using a hand-rolled helper, extract_string_field(), that copied the message's uid and action fields with strncpy(out_buf, token + 1, outlen - 1) and then scanned the result with strchr(out_buf, '"'). Because strncpy does not NUL-terminate the destination when the source is at least outlen - 1 (127) bytes long, the subsequent strchr reads past the 128-byte destination buffer into adjacent stack memory; if a " byte is found beyond the buffer, a one-byte out-of-bounds NUL write also occurs. A related defect in extract_payload() runs strchr/strrchr over the receive buffer, which may not be NUL-terminated when a maximal-length frame fills it.
The parsed bytes come directly from the OCPP central-system server over a websocket: the reader thread fills recv_buf via websocket_recv_msg() and calls parse_rpc_msg() on each inbound DATA frame (subsys/net/lib/ocpp/ocpp.c). A malicious or compromised central server, or an on-path attacker (OCPP is commonly deployed over plain ws://), can send an RPC frame whose uid or action field is 127+ bytes with no closing quote, triggering the out-of-bounds access.
The primary impact is a remotely triggerable denial of service: the unbounded scan can fault on an unmapped page, and the stray NUL write can corrupt adjacent stack state. The over-read data is not reflected to the peer, so disclosure is limited. The feature is EXPERIMENTAL and must be explicitly enabled (CONFIG_OCPP). The fix replaces the manual parser with the bounds-respecting json_mixed_arr_parse() and copies the extracted uid with an explicitly NUL-terminated buffer, eliminating both over-reads. |
| A flaw was found in GNU tar. When extracting an archive with the --one-top-level option, hardlink targets are not confined to the designated top-level directory and may resolve relative to the extraction working directory. A crafted archive can create hardlinks that escape the intended boundary and, when combined with a preexisting symbolic link under the working directory, may allow writing outside that boundary during a single extraction. |
| Improper Enforcement of Message Integrity During Transmission in a Communication Channel vulnerability in Erlang/OTP ssl (tls_gen_connection module) allows a network-positioned attacker to inject unauthenticated plaintext that the TLS client application later treats as authenticated server data.
The function tls_gen_connection:handle_protocol_record/3 rejects APPLICATION_DATA records that arrive in pre-handshake states when the TLS endpoint acts as a server, but does not apply the same check when the endpoint acts as a client. A network-positioned attacker can send plaintext APPLICATION_DATA records to the client during the handshake. The records are buffered and, once the handshake completes successfully, delivered to the application as if they were authenticated post-handshake data. The attacker cannot observe the client's response or steer the connection, so the impact is limited to blind injection of unauthenticated bytes. The injection window is wider for TLS versions prior to TLS 1.3 than for TLS 1.3.
This vulnerability is associated with program file lib/ssl/src/tls_gen_connection.erl.
TLS 1.3 is affected starting with OTP 22.0, when TLS 1.3 support was added.
This issue affects OTP from OTP R13B03 before OTP 27.3.4.14, from OTP 28.0 before OTP 28.5.0.3, and from OTP 29.0 before OTP 29.0.3, corresponding to ssl from 3.10.7 before 11.2.12.10, from 11.3 before 11.6.0.3, and from 11.7 before 11.7.3. Whether OTP before OTP R13B03, corresponding to ssl before 3.10.7, is affected is unknown. |
| A vulnerability has been found in GL.iNet GL-MT3000 up to 4.4.5. This affects the function network.switch_info/network.switch_status of the file /usr/lib/oui-httpd/rpc/network of the component Network Lua RPC Plugin. Such manipulation of the argument switch leads to command injection. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure and confirmed the existence of the vulnerability. |
| Admidio before 5.0.11 does not validate the adm_csrf_token in modules/category-report/preferences.php, which performs persistent Category Report configuration changes based on GET parameters (delete and copy). An attacker can trick an authenticated administrator into visiting a crafted URL to delete or duplicate Category Report configurations, affecting the integrity and availability of that module's configuration. |
| Grav CMS versions 2.0.7 through 2.0.10 fail to validate fully-qualified static method calls (Class::method) in blueprint dynamic-field directives because Blueprint::isSafeDynamicCall() only applies its dangerous-callable denylist to strings that do not contain '::'. An account with only page-editing rights (admin.pages, not super-admin or admin.pages_twig) can plant a directive in a page's form-field frontmatter that invokes an arbitrary public static PHP method with attacker-controlled arguments. Using built-in gadget methods this allows reading of any server-readable file (disclosed to anonymous visitors of the crafted page) and arbitrary creation/copying of files and directories under the web-server account. Fixed in 2.0.11. |
| Improper access control in the IRP_MJ_WRITE command interface in
Wellbia XIGNCODE3 xhunter2.sys, version 2026.6.1.192, allows a local, unprivileged attacker to achieve local privilege escalation to
NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM, extract credentials from PPL-protected
lsass.exe, and terminate PPL-protected security processes. |
| pglogical's apply worker does not sufficiently validate the length of certain fields in incoming replication protocol messages before copying them, resulting in an out-of-bounds read. A party acting as the publisher for a subscription, for example a non-PostgreSQL endpoint that speaks the pglogical replication protocol, can return crafted messages that cause the subscriber's apply worker to read beyond the bounds of an allocated buffer, disclosing adjacent process memory or crashing the worker. To exploit the issue an attacker must be able to direct a subscription at an endpoint they control. In default installations this requires privileges normally reserved for a superuser, so the issue is most relevant to managed deployments where the ability to create subscriptions has been delegated to non-superuser roles. |
| OpenWrt luci-app-bmx7 before commit 5890760a454dad2cb00389dba2cdc5e779e0ffdd contains a path traversal vulnerability in the bmx7-info CGI script that allows unauthenticated attackers to read files outside the configured runtimeDir. Attackers can supply directory traversal sequences in the query string to escape the intended directory and read sensitive files accessible to the CGI process. |
| A vulnerability in the iDTM FDI allows an attacker with elevated privileges and access to the host system to enable the debug interface by placing a crafted file in the application directory, potentially resulting in unauthorized access to connected devices and exposure, modification, or disruption of device data or operation. |
| An out-of-memory flaw was found in libtiff that could be triggered by passing a crafted tiff file to the TIFFRasterScanlineSize64() API. This flaw allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted input with a size smaller than 379 KB. |
| Telenia Software TVox 26.5.3 and prior 26.x versions, and 24.9.21 and prior 24.x versions, contain an OS command injection vulnerability in action_audio.php that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands by passing an unsanitized pid parameter into an exec() call when the action parameter is set to checkProcess. Attackers can inject malicious OS commands through the pid request parameter to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the apache user. |
| XML::Sig versions from 0.29 before 0.72 for Perl allow signature verification bypass because verify returns true when every signature was skipped before any cryptographic check.
verify in lib/XML/Sig.pm counts the `//dsig:Signature` elements into `$numsigs` and iterates over them, but two paths reach `next` before any digest or key check runs: a `SignedInfo/Reference/@URI` that resolves to no element while `$numsigs` is greater than 1, and, when `id_attr` is set, a reference that does not match the requested ID. The loop records nothing about what it checked, so when every signature takes one of those paths control reaches the unconditional `return 1` that ends verify. Two `Signature` elements whose Reference URI names an ID that no element carries is enough, as is one such element combined with `id_attr`.
Any caller that passes untrusted XML to verify can receive a true return for a document in which no digest and no signature value was checked; a `cert` or `cert_text` trust anchor does not change this, because no key check runs. Versions up to 0.28 use an XML::XPath based verify that has no such skip and are not affected. |
| A vulnerability was found in GL.iNet GL-MT3000 up to 4.4.5. This impacts the function ovpn-client.check_config of the file /cgi-bin/glc of the component ovpn-client.so Native Plugin. Performing a manipulation of the argument filename results in command injection. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure and confirmed the existence of the vulnerability. |
| Telenia Software TVox 26.5.3 and prior 26.x versions, and 24.9.21 and prior 24.x versions, contain an authentication bypass vulnerability in set_env.php where the redirectToLoginAdminIRequestHaveAccessToken() function derives the current page name from PHP_SELF and skips authentication when the value matches 'login_admin.php'. Attackers can append '/login_admin.php' to the path of any target PHP script to cause the authentication check to pass and gain unauthenticated access to all PHP scripts under the manager HTML directory. |
| A flaw was found in libtiff. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted PixarLog-compressed TIFF image. This issue occurs when decoding Pixarlog codec images with the PIXARLOGDATAFMT_8BITABGR output format and a specific stride value, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow. This could potentially result in arbitrary code execution or a denial of service (DoS). |
| In modem, there is a possible improper input validation. This could lead to remote denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed |
