CVSS v3.1 |
| Incorrect boundary conditions in the Audio/Video: Playback component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 150, Thunderbird 150, Firefox ESR 140.10.1, Thunderbird 140.10.1, and Firefox ESR 115.35.2. |
| Affected versions of cti-transmute allow authenticated users to add or remove emoji reactions on comments without first checking whether those users are authorized to view the target comment.
The vulnerable react() handler passed an attacker-controlled comment_id directly to comments_repo.toggle_reaction() after only validating that the ID existed syntactically and that the requested emoji was permitted. Because comment-level visibility was not enforced, a user who could identify the ID of a private or otherwise inaccessible comment could modify reaction state on that comment despite lacking permission to access it.
The fix retrieves the target comment, rejects missing or deleted comments, retrieves its associated conversion, and enforces access.can_see_comment(current_user, comment, conversion). Unauthorized requests now receive HTTP 403. |

| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 7.4.0 through 7.4.1, FortiOS 7.2 all versions, FortiPAM 1.8.0 through 1.8.2, FortiPAM 1.7 all versions, FortiPAM 1.6 all versions, FortiPAM 1.5 all versions, FortiPAM 1.4 all versions, FortiPAM 1.3 all versions, FortiPAM 1.2 all versions, FortiPAM 1.1 all versions, FortiPAM 1.0 all versions, FortiProxy 7.4.0 through 7.4.13, FortiProxy 7.2 all versions may allow a privileged authenticated attacker who can bypass stack protection and ASLR to execute arbitrary code or commands via crafted HTTP requests. |
| FFmpeg's RASC video decoder (decode_dlta in libavcodec/rasc.c) performs 32-bit reads and writes at the row cursor before the NEXT_LINE row-boundary check and validates the DLTA region in pixel rather than byte units, so a DLTA run on a PAL8 frame can access several bytes past the row allocation. A crafted media stream using the RASC FourCC, decoded by libavcodec, triggers a bitstream-controlled out-of-bounds heap write and adjacent out-of-bounds read, leading to memory corruption. |
| acl before version 2.4.0 contains a symlink traversal vulnerability in the libacl pathname-based functions acl_get_file(), acl_set_file(), acl_extended_file(), and acl_delete_def_file() that allows local attackers to escalate privileges by replacing any pathname component with a symbolic link. Attackers who control any component of a pathname processed by a privileged caller can redirect ACL read or write operations to arbitrary files or directories, enabling unauthorized manipulation of access control lists and local privilege escalation. |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to version 9.2.0495, a Vimscript code injection vulnerability exists in s:NetrwBookHistSave() in the netrw plugin (runtime/pack/dist/opt/netrw/autoload/netrw.vim) when serializing browsed directory paths to the history file ~/.vim/.netrwhist. A directory name derived from the filesystem is interpolated into a single-quoted Vimscript string literal without escaping embedded single quotes, allowing a crafted directory name to break out of the string context and execute arbitrary Vimscript, including shell commands via system() and :!, the next time the history file is sourced. This issue has been patched in version 9.2.0495. |
| Buffer Over-read vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server via outbound OCSP requests to an attacker controlled OCSP server
This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: from 2.4.0 through 2.4.67.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.68, which fixes the issue. |
| An issue was discovered in OpenStack ironic-python-agent 1.0.0 through 11.5.0. Ironic Python Agent (IPA) sometimes executes grub-install from within a chroot of the deployed partition image, leading to code execution in the case of a malicious image. |
| Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server with mod_xml2enc, xml2StartParse, and untrusted content
This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: from 2.4.0 through 2.4.67.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.68, which fixes the issue. |
| Previously, a revoked 'SignatureKey' belonging to a CA was not correctly checked for revocation. Now, both the 'key' and 'key.SignatureKey' are checked for @revoked. |
| pgjdbc is an open source postgresql JDBC Driver. From version 42.2.0 to before version 42.7.11, pgjdbc is vulnerable to a client-side denial of service during SCRAM-SHA-256 authentication. A malicious server can instruct the driver to perform SCRAM authentication with a very large iteration count. With a large enough value, the client spends an unbounded amount of CPU time inside PBKDF2 before authentication can fail. A single attempt ties up a CPU core. Repeated or concurrent attempts exhaust client CPU and can wedge connection pools. In affected versions, loginTimeout did not fully mitigate this problem. When loginTimeout expired, the caller could stop waiting, but the worker thread performing the connection attempt could continue running and burning CPU inside the SCRAM PBKDF2 computation. This issue has been patched in version 42.7.11. |
| Milestone
has released a new version of XProtect® (and several cumulative patch updates)
which fix security vulnerability in Management Server API.
The vulnerability
causes users with edit permissions to the Management Server to be able to
execute arbitrary code in context of the Management Server Service. |
| A malicious SSH peer could send unsolicited global request responses to fill an internal buffer, blocking the connection's read loop. The blocked goroutine could not be released by calling Close(), resulting in a resource leak per connection. Unsolicited global responses are now discarded. |
| The RSA and DSA public key parsers did not enforce size limits on key parameters. A crafted public key with an excessively large modulus or DSA parameter could cause several minutes of CPU consumption during signature verification. This could be triggered by unauthenticated clients during public key authentication. RSA moduli are now limited to 8192 bits, and DSA parameters are validated per FIPS 186-2. |
| When an SSH server authentication callback returned PartialSuccessError with non-nil Permissions, those permissions were silently discarded, potentially dropping certificate restrictions such as force-command after a second factor succeeded. Returning non-nil Permissions with PartialSuccessError now results in a connection error. |
| A buffer overflow in mod_proxy_html in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.67 and earlier allows an attack by an untrusted backend.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.68, which fixes this issue. |
| An Incorrect Privilege Assignment vulnerability was discovered in the synchronization functionality due to Arc sensors receiving CLI permissions. An authenticated user with limited privileges can push administrative CLI commands through the sync, altering the device configuration, and/or affecting its availability. |
| A denial-of-service vulnerability caused by unbounded resource allocation was discovered in the audit logging functionality, due to a missing size limit on input recorded into audit entries. An unauthenticated attacker can submit requests containing excessively large input that is recorded into audit entries, possibly exhausting the available disk space and rendering the system inoperable. |
