CVE-2026-26283 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-04-17 6.2 Medium
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40, a `continue` statement in the JPEG extent binary search loop in the jpeg encoder causes an infinite loop when writing persistently fails. An attacker can trigger a 100% CPU consumption and process hang (Denial of Service) with a crafted image. Versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40 contain a patch.
CVE-2026-32873 1 Vshakitskiy 1 Ewe 2026-04-17 7.5 High
ewe is a Gleam web server. Versions 0.8.0 through 3.0.4 contain a bug in the handle_trailers function where rejected trailer headers (forbidden or undeclared) cause an infinite loop. When handle_trailers encounters such a trailer, three code paths (lines 520, 523, 526) recurse with the original buffer (rest) instead of advancing past the rejected header (Buffer(header_rest, 0)), causing decoder.decode_packet to re-parse the same header on every iteration. The resulting loop has no timeout or escape — the BEAM process permanently wedges at 100% CPU. Any application that calls ewe.read_body on chunked requests is affected, and this is exploitable by any unauthenticated remote client before control returns to application code, making an application-level workaround impossible. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.5.
CVE-2026-27628 2 Py-pdf, Pypdf Project 2 Pypdf, Pypdf 2026-04-16 7.5 High
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.7.2, an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to an infinite loop. This requires reading the file. This has been fixed in pypdf 6.7.2. As a workaround, one may apply the patch manually.
CVE-2022-27781 5 Debian, Haxx, Netapp and 2 more 17 Debian Linux, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 14 more 2026-04-16 7.5 High
libcurl provides the `CURLOPT_CERTINFO` option to allow applications torequest details to be returned about a server's certificate chain.Due to an erroneous function, a malicious server could make libcurl built withNSS get stuck in a never-ending busy-loop when trying to retrieve thatinformation.
CVE-2026-20054 1 Cisco 3 Cisco Utd Snort Ips Engine Software, Cyber Vision, Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-04-16 5.8 Medium
Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 VBA feature that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to crash.  This vulnerability is due to improper error checking when decompressing VBA data. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted VBA data to the Snort 3 Detection Engine on the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to enter an infinite loop, causing a DoS condition.
CVE-2026-31808 1 Sindresorhus 1 File-type 2026-04-16 5.3 Medium
file-type detects the file type of a file, stream, or data. Prior to 21.3.1, a denial of service vulnerability exists in the ASF (WMV/WMA) file type detection parser. When parsing a crafted input where an ASF sub-header has a size field of zero, the parser enters an infinite loop. The payload value becomes negative (-24), causing tokenizer.ignore(payload) to move the read position backwards, so the same sub-header is read repeatedly forever. Any application that uses file-type to detect the type of untrusted/attacker-controlled input is affected. An attacker can stall the Node.js event loop with a 55-byte payload. Fixed in version 21.3.1.
CVE-2026-34852 1 Huawei 1 Harmonyos 2026-04-16 6.1 Medium
Stack overflow vulnerability in the media platform. Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect availability.
CVE-2026-35406 1 Containers 1 Aardvark-dns 2026-04-16 6.2 Medium
Aardvark-dns is an authoritative dns server for A/AAAA container records. From 1.16.0 to 1.17.0, a truncated TCP DNS query followed by a connection reset causes aardvark-dns to enter an unrecoverable infinite error loop at 100% CPU. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.17.1.
CVE-2004-0748 2 Apache, Redhat 2 Http Server, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-16 N/A
mod_ssl in Apache 2.0.50 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) by aborting an SSL connection in a way that causes an Apache child process to enter an infinite loop.
CVE-2005-2224 1 Microsoft 1 Asp.net 2026-04-16 N/A
aspnet_wp.exe in Microsoft ASP.NET web services allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption from infinite loop) via a crafted SOAP message to an RPC/Encoded method.
CVE-2005-0851 1 Filezilla-project 1 Filezilla Server 2026-04-16 N/A
FileZilla FTP server before 0.9.6, when using MODE Z (zlib compression), allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via certain file uploads or directory listings.
CVE-2004-0753 2 Gnome, Redhat 3 Gdkpixbuf, Gtk, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-16 N/A
The BMP image processor for (1) gdk-pixbuf before 0.22 and (2) gtk2 before 2.2.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a crafted BMP file.
CVE-2024-24788 1 Redhat 15 Ansible Automation Platform, Ceph Storage, Cost Management and 12 more 2026-04-15 5.9 Medium
A malformed DNS message in response to a query can cause the Lookup functions to get stuck in an infinite loop.
CVE-2025-33028 1 Winzip 1 Winzip 2026-04-15 6.1 Medium
In WinZip through 29.0, there is a Mark-of-the-Web Bypass Vulnerability because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2024-8811. This vulnerability allows attackers to bypass the Mark-of-the-Web protection mechanism on affected installations of WinZip. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of archived files. When extracting files from a crafted archive that bears the Mark-of-the-Web, WinZip does not propagate the Mark-of-the-Web to the extracted files. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. NOTE: a third party has reported that this is a false positive, and has observed that the original CVE-2025-33028.md file has been deleted on GitHub. Also, this is disputed because Mark-of-the-Web propagation can increase risk via security-warning habituation, and because the intended control sphere for file-origin metadata (e.g., HostUrl in Zone.Identifier) may be narrower than that for reading the file's content.
CVE-2023-50763 1 Siemens 8 Simatic Cp 1542sp-1, Simatic Cp 1542sp-1 Irc, Simatic Cp 1543sp-1 and 5 more 2026-04-15 4.9 Medium
A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CP 1542SP-1 (6GK7542-6UX00-0XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIMATIC CP 1542SP-1 IRC (6GK7542-6VX00-0XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIMATIC CP 1543SP-1 (6GK7543-6WX00-0XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIPLUS ET 200SP CP 1542SP-1 IRC TX RAIL (6AG2542-6VX00-4XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIPLUS ET 200SP CP 1543SP-1 ISEC (6AG1543-6WX00-7XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIPLUS ET 200SP CP 1543SP-1 ISEC TX RAIL (6AG2543-6WX00-4XE0) (All versions < V2.3), SIPLUS TIM 1531 IRC (6AG1543-1MX00-7XE0) (All versions < V2.4.8), TIM 1531 IRC (6GK7543-1MX00-0XE0) (All versions < V2.4.8). The web server of affected products, if configured to allow the import of PKCS12 containers, could end up in an infinite loop when processing incomplete certificate chains. This could allow an authenticated remote attacker to create a denial of service condition by importing specially crafted PKCS12 containers.
CVE-2025-58746 2026-04-15 9.1 Critical
The Volkov Labs Business Links panel for Grafana provides an interface to navigate using external links, internal dashboards, time pickers, and dropdown menus. Prior to version 2.4.0, a malicious actor with Editor privileges can escalate their privileges to Administrator and perform arbitrary administrative actions. This is possible because the plugin allows arbitrary JavaScript code injection in the [Layout] → [Link] → [URL] field. Version 2.4.0 contains a fix for the issue.
CVE-2025-20253 1 Cisco 5 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Firepower Threat Defense Software, Ios and 2 more 2026-04-15 8.6 High
A vulnerability in the IKEv2 feature of Cisco IOS Software, IOS XE Software, Secure Firewall ASA Software, and Secure FTD Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition. This vulnerability is due to the improper processing of IKEv2 packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted IKEv2 packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause an infinite loop that exhausts resources and could cause the device to reload.
CVE-2024-11716 1 Ctfd 1 Ctfd 2026-04-15 N/A
While assignment of a user to a team (bracket) in CTFd should be possible only once, at the registration, a flaw in logic implementation allows an authenticated user to reset it's bracket and then pick a new one, joining another team while a competition is already ongoing. This issue impacts releases from 3.7.0 up to 3.7.4 and was addressed by pull request 2636 https://github.com/CTFd/CTFd/pull/2636  included in 3.7.5 release.
CVE-2025-68821 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: fix readahead reclaim deadlock Commit e26ee4efbc79 ("fuse: allocate ff->release_args only if release is needed") skips allocating ff->release_args if the server does not implement open. However in doing so, fuse_prepare_release() now skips grabbing the reference on the inode, which makes it possible for an inode to be evicted from the dcache while there are inflight readahead requests. This causes a deadlock if the server triggers reclaim while servicing the readahead request and reclaim attempts to evict the inode of the file being read ahead. Since the folio is locked during readahead, when reclaim evicts the fuse inode and fuse_evict_inode() attempts to remove all folios associated with the inode from the page cache (truncate_inode_pages_range()), reclaim will block forever waiting for the lock since readahead cannot relinquish the lock because it is itself blocked in reclaim: >>> stack_trace(1504735) folio_wait_bit_common (mm/filemap.c:1308:4) folio_lock (./include/linux/pagemap.h:1052:3) truncate_inode_pages_range (mm/truncate.c:336:10) fuse_evict_inode (fs/fuse/inode.c:161:2) evict (fs/inode.c:704:3) dentry_unlink_inode (fs/dcache.c:412:3) __dentry_kill (fs/dcache.c:615:3) shrink_kill (fs/dcache.c:1060:12) shrink_dentry_list (fs/dcache.c:1087:3) prune_dcache_sb (fs/dcache.c:1168:2) super_cache_scan (fs/super.c:221:10) do_shrink_slab (mm/shrinker.c:435:9) shrink_slab (mm/shrinker.c:626:10) shrink_node (mm/vmscan.c:5951:2) shrink_zones (mm/vmscan.c:6195:3) do_try_to_free_pages (mm/vmscan.c:6257:3) do_swap_page (mm/memory.c:4136:11) handle_pte_fault (mm/memory.c:5562:10) handle_mm_fault (mm/memory.c:5870:9) do_user_addr_fault (arch/x86/mm/fault.c:1338:10) handle_page_fault (arch/x86/mm/fault.c:1481:3) exc_page_fault (arch/x86/mm/fault.c:1539:2) asm_exc_page_fault+0x22/0x27 Fix this deadlock by allocating ff->release_args and grabbing the reference on the inode when preparing the file for release even if the server does not implement open. The inode reference will be dropped when the last reference on the fuse file is dropped (see fuse_file_put() -> fuse_release_end()).
CVE-2024-2397 2026-04-15 6.2 Medium
Due to a bug in packet data buffers management, the PPP printer in tcpdump can enter an infinite loop when reading a crafted DLT_PPP_SERIAL .pcap savefile. This problem does not affect any tcpdump release, but it affected the git master branch from 2023-06-05 to 2024-03-21.
