CVE-2026-58107 1 Ericsson 1 Codechecker 2026-08-28 N/A
CodeChecker's massStoreRun processing path performs one-shot decompression of attacker-controlled, Base64-encoded zlib data without enforcing a maximum decompressed size. An authenticated user with permission to store analysis runs can submit a highly compressed payload that expands to a significantly larger byte sequence. Because the entire decompressed output is materialized in memory before being written to a temporary file, a sufficiently large payload may exhaust process or host memory and consume substantial disk space, resulting in denial of service.

A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco IMC could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with admin-level privileges to perform command injection attacks on an affected system and execute arbitrary commands as the root user. This vulnerability is due to improper validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted commands to the web-based management interface of the affected software. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system as the root user. Cisco has assigned this vulnerability a Security Impact Rating (SIR) of High, rather than Medium as the score indicates, because additional security implications could occur once the attacker has become root.

In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.85, PKCS#12 MAC and bag-decryption KDF iteration-count bound (DoS). This issue also affects Bouncy Castle for Java LTS before 2.73.12, and Bouncy Castle for Java FIPS (BC-FJA) before bc-fips 1.0.2.7 (1.0.X series), 2.0.2 (2.0.X series) and 2.1.3 (2.1.X series).
CVE-2026-48779 2 Websockets, Ws Project 2 Ws, Ws 2026-08-28 7.5 High
ws is an open source WebSocket client and server for Node.js. All versions from 1.1.0 up to (but not including) 5.2.5, from 6.0.0 up to 6.2.4, from 7.0.0 up to 7.5.11, and from 8.0.0 up to 8.21.0 are affected by a memory exhaustion DoS vulnerability. A peer can send a high volume of exceptionally small fragments and data chunks, with modest network traffic, to force the remote peer into allocating and holding structural wrappers that consume far more memory than the default documented message-size limit, leading to process termination due to OOM. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.2.5, 6.2.4, 7.5.11, and 8.21.0.
CVE-2026-45292 1 Opentelemetry 3 Opentelemetry-java, Opentelemetry.api, Opentelemetry.extensions.propagators 2026-08-28 5.3 Medium
opentelemetry-java is the Java implementation of the OpenTelemetry API for recording telemetry, and SDK for managing telemetry recorded by the API. Prior to 1.62.0, a vulnerability affects the baggage propagation implementation in opentelemetry-api and opentelemetry-extension-trace-propagators. Parsing oversized baggage causes unbounded memory allocation and CPU consumption. Because baggage is automatically re-injected into every outgoing request, the effect can fan out to downstream services that never received the original malicious request. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.62.0.
CVE-2026-32283 2 Go Standard Library, Golang 2 Crypto Tls, Go 2026-08-28 7.5 High
If one side of the TLS connection sends multiple key update messages post-handshake in a single record, the connection can deadlock, causing uncontrolled consumption of resources. This can lead to a denial of service. This only affects TLS 1.3.
CVE-2026-80212 1 Ruby 1 Resolv 2026-08-28 7.5 High
An issue was discovered in the resolv gem before 0.7.2 for Ruby. Resolv::DNS::Resource.get_class, Resolv::DNS::Resource::Generic.create, and Resolv::DNS::SvcParam::Generic.create generate a new class for each unknown DNS resource record (type, class) pair, or each unknown SvcParamKey, encountered while decoding a response. Each generated class was permanently registered both as a constant on Resource (or SvcParam::Generic) and as an entry in a class-lookup hash (ClassHash), and thus the class remained reachable through that constant after the response was discarded. Type and class are each 16-bit values, and thus an attacker controlling DNS responses (a spoofed response, or a malicious or hijacked upstream DNS server) has roughly 2^32 distinct (type, class) pairs to choose from. A single response of a few hundred kilobytes carrying tens of thousands of distinct unknown types permanently grows process memory by tens of megabytes; repeated responses accumulate without bound and are never reclaimed by garbage collection, because the constant keeps each class alive. Any code path that calls Resolv::DNS::Message.decode on attacker-influenced DNS responses is affected. resolv is a default gem, and thus this is reachable from a plain Ruby installation without any additional dependency.

CVE-2026-80554 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 9.3 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/vfio_ccw: Limit the number of channel program segments The processing of channel programs, and the CCWs within them, is done recursively. As such, there is an arbitrary (but not architectural) limit to the number of CCWs that can exist in a single channel program. The vfio-ccw logic breaks these channel programs into segments whenever it encounters a Transfer-In-Channel (TIC) CCW, and the combined number of segments count towards the global limit. Impose an equivalent limit to the number of segments until such logic can be made non-recursive.
CVE-2026-15055 2 Bouncycastle, Legion Of The Bouncy Castle Inc. 6 Bc-java, Bcpkix-fips, Bouncy Castle For Java Lts and 3 more 2026-08-28 8.2 High
In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.85, PKCS#8 / PBES2 decryptors honour unbounded KDF cost from input. This issue also affects Bouncy Castle for Java LTS before 2.73.12, and Bouncy Castle for Java FIPS (BC-FJA) before bcpkix-fips 1.0.12 (1.0.X series), 2.0.12 (2.0.X series) and 2.1.12 (2.1.X series).
