| CVE-2026-99143 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Keep the predicate limit separate from program capacity predicate_parse() adds two to nr_preds to reserve the terminal TRUE and FALSE entries. It also uses that increased value as the limit for parsed predicates. If the initial count is smaller than the number actually parsed, the program can fill the allocation and subsequent accesses can go past its end. Keep nr_preds as the predicate limit and use a separate value for the allocation size. This leaves space for both terminal entries and a zeroed entry when parsing stops at the limit. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99146 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/dmc: Add sanity check for DMC load address For DMC firmware header version 3, the firmware load address is stored in dmc_info->start_mmioaddr and later used by dmc_load_program(). Unlike the MMIO address table, the firmware load address is not validated. Add a sanity check to ensure it is within the valid range. | CVE-2026-99149 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix GEM object leak on ENOMEM in userptr ioctl When amdgpu_hmm_range_alloc() fails amdgpu_gem_userptr_ioctl() returns -ENOMEM right away and skips the cleanup every other error path goes through. The GEM object, the bo->parent reference on the VM root and the MMU notifier registration are all left behind. Use release_object here, not user_pages_done, range is still NULL at this point. | CVE-2026-99150 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: don't drop the runtime PM reference twice in amdgpu_gpr amdgpu_debugfs_gpr_read() drops its runtime PM reference right after reading the wave registers. When copying them to userspace fails, it jumps to the err label, which drops the reference a second time. A read into a bad buffer on Navi31 either steals a reference somebody else holds (power/runtime_usage goes from 1 to 0) or underflows the count: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: Runtime PM usage count underflow! The registers are already in the kernel buffer at that point, so finish the hardware access first and copy the buffer with a single copy_to_user() instead of the put_user() loop with its own error path. | CVE-2026-99151 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix NULL sink dereference in USB4 bandwidth functions allocate_usb4_bandwidth_for_stream() and allocate_usb4_bandwidth() both use ASSERT(stream->sink) before dereferencing stream->sink->link. ASSERT is compiled out in production builds, so a NULL stream->sink causes a NULL pointer dereference. link_set_dpms_off() already guards two earlier accesses to stream->sink with explicit NULL checks, confirming that stream->sink can legitimately be NULL. The subsequent call to deallocate_usb4_bandwidth() had no equivalent guard. Replace the ASSERT() calls with proper NULL checks that return false early, and add a matching stream->sink guard at the call site in link_set_dpms_off() consistent with the surrounding pattern. v2: Keep the existing ASSERT() calls for diagnostics (to report unexpected NULL sink), and add explicit NULL checks that return false before dereferencing stream->sink. Also add a matching stream->sink guard at the deallocation call site in link_set_dpms_off(). (Alex) (cherry picked from commit 98029a0ce61feb52c563f65349dd9b25f672e355) | ||||
| CVE-2026-99154 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: libiscsi: Reject a negative task index from parse_pdu_itt A transport that implements parse_pdu_itt hands libiscsi an index taken from the PDU, and both lookups bound it from above only: if (i >= session->cmds_max) i and cmds_max are both int, so a negative index passes and session->cmds[i] is read from before the array. be2iscsi produces one. beiscsi_parse_pdu() assigns the raw tag, *index = (int)itt; and beiscsi_complete_pdu() forwards an unsolicited NOP-In from the hardware async ring without replacing its ITT, so the value is the target's. It also reports the session's own age rather than the one in the tag, which leaves the age comparison in iscsi_verify_itt() with nothing to reject. Bound the index from below in both lookups. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99155 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: xen/scsifront: Check for a NULL shadow entry on a backend response scsifront_do_response() validates the rqid in a backend response against VSCSIIF_MAX_REQS before using it to index info->shadow[], but then dereferences the entry to test ->inflight without checking that the slot is populated. Shadow slots are NULL before a command is submitted (the host private area is zeroed at allocation) and are reset to NULL in _scsifront_put_rqid() once a request completes, so an in-range rqid that does not correspond to an outstanding request makes the frontend dereference a NULL pointer. A malicious or buggy backend can thus crash the guest by returning a response whose rqid is in range but not in flight -- for example a spurious response before any command has been issued, or a duplicate of one already completed. The ring has only VSCSIIF_MAX_REQS (16) slots, so before the first command every in-range rqid selects a NULL slot. Reject a response whose shadow slot is not populated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99158 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Fix false warning in ring_buffer_map_get_reader() The mmap reader can warn when it catches up with a writer that is still committing events. rb_get_reader_page() returns NULL in this case, but ring_buffer_map_get_reader() treats that result as an error. The initial rb_per_cpu_empty() check filters out an empty buffer, but it does not guarantee that the next reader page has committed data. Writers do not take reader_lock and can advance commit_page before publishing the committed length on the new page. rb_get_reader_page() can swap to that page, catch up with the writer and return NULL. Handle NULL through the existing no-data exit without warning. Remove the caller's reader_page == commit_page check as well, since the reader-page helper already handles that case. The existing metadata update and return path remain in place. | ||||

| The Smart Popup by Supsystic WordPress plugin before 2.0.2 does not prevent template-injection payloads from being stored in a popup text block and later evaluated by its template engine, because the filter meant to strip template delimiters runs before a decoding step that reconstructs them, allowing an authenticated administrator to execute arbitrary template expressions server-side and read PHP constants such as the site's database credentials and authentication keys. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99118 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/dmc: Harden DMC firmware payload parsing Validate the conversion of the DMC firmware size from dwords to bytes using check_mul_overflow() before calculating the firmware payload size. Reject zero-length payloads and zero MMIO counts in the DMC firmware header so malformed firmware is caught early. Also set dmc_fw_size only after the payload allocation succeeds. | CVE-2026-99120 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86/mmu: Cope with the SS bit being set in #NPF exit codes When running Hyper-V from Windows 11, KVM is seeing the SS bit set in nested page fault error codes produced for shadowed NPT. The AMD manual is unclear about when SS is set, including whether it can be set when SupervisorShadowStackEn (bit 6) is not set in the MISC_CTL field of the VMCB. Nevertheless, the unexpected SS bit causes out of bounds accesses in permission_fault(), seen as either WARNs or UBSAN reports: kernel: UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in arch/x86/kvm/mmu.h:225:27 kernel: index 34 is out of range for type 'u16 [16]' (in this case, the page fault error code is 34*2=0x44, i.e. SS|U; the report shows SS|U|W happening as well). Fix the handling of unknown error codes by dropping SS and (with a WARN) any bits not among those that permission_fault() expects to receive. At the same time, given the uncertainty about when hardware sets SS, follow the processor's behavior when constructing the fault's error code, and preserve the SS bit as passed to FNAME(walk_addr_generic). While the behavior is surprising, there's a possibility that Hyper-V expects it (Hyper-V does not even enable CET unless it finds MBEC/GMET!), so retain the information when reflecting the fault to L1 instead of unconditionally discarding it. Bisection shows that this started happening with commit 687ee95c1b6d ("KVM: nSVM: enable GMET for guests"), even though SHSTK was available to guests since Linux 6.18. However, this is not because bit 1 of MISC_CTL (GMET) somehow enables reporting the SS bit; rather, it's simply that Hyper-V never uses CET unless GMET is also present. The WARN is reproducible even with gmet=0, with some hacking of kvm-unit-tests's cet.c testcase to ensure that the first access to the shadow stack triggers a page fault. | ||||
